Mandurah Motel and Apartments

Since our last visit the small resort has improved yet again. The BBQ area is better and the gardens are very well kept with an inviting pool. Rooms are clean and tidy and they still have a great Restaurant upstairs. Easy parking and all in all great if you prefer a smaller place to stay

We booked an apar**ent called 7 Heaven on *********** in the complex. Room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed. Unit was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and tennis court. Excellent value for money. Laundry facilities available with disc supplied by caretaker below our unit. Very friendly and helpful. Ideally located to main town areas and restaurants. Very secure gateway to property. Highly recommended

We have stayed here alot over the years and can say the outside area is THE BEST it has ever been with a fortune having been spent in paved areas and flower beds. No more mini golf which is good as the area is fully paved now making it much safer. Didnt see any ************ and never have. They have the BEST RESTAURANT in town which is why we stay here. Yes the rooms need updating BUT for the price you cannot complain as most of the rooms are privately owned. Our room did not have a extractor fan working in the bathroom or an outside light working at rear but thats not the end of the world

Stayed for 1 night with my mum and 9 year old son. Upon opening the door to the unit, there was a smell, like stale cigarettes/old people. Wasn’t the cleanest place which is a shame because it definitely has potential to be great. Shower head could be better, they need the big rainwater shower heads and glass screens instead of curtains. Units as a whole need to be updated. Having said that, looks like they are doing improvements around the pool area.

Having read some of the last reviews, I cannot agree. We have stayed here many times over the years and have never found it noisy. The rooms are dated but money is being spent here. This is average accommodation and I must admit that we come here for the Restaurant. Due to staff shortages they dont open for Breakfast now which is a shame. Quite alot of the rooms are privately owned now so the management cannot stop those owners or guests as this is out of their control. Our Air Conditioner was not working but apart from that the rooms were clean and we know that staff are very hard to get now so those that are there should not be abused as they are doing their best. Maybe report the Police to the Police as they should of sent someone

We were recommended to stay here as it was supposed to be quiet and relaxing only to find the total opposite. We stayed in apar**ent 16 on Saturday the 7th May 2022. We had been to a 70th Birthday that evening, when we arrived back at the unit at 9.30 we were confronted with blaring music coming from apar**ent 15 next to ours. At 10 pm the music was getting louder at 11pm my partner knocked on their door and ask for the music to be turned down which they did for all of 5 minutes and then continued on until 2-30am. We made numerous calls to reception leaving messages for the to address the problem, the number for security was not connected so we eventually called the police but was told that they were too busy to come out. When we checked out the manager was not interested at all and told us that they cannot control what goes on and that we should have called the police we told her that we did we then ask to be refunded she then told us that it was not her problem that we had no sleep or that there was no one to call to address the problem and refused a refund. Both Charmaine and Gail were both extremely rude and have the worst customer service the I have ever come across. Bathroom is old with mould in the grout, the shower was so small that a large person would hardly fit. The only positive that I could say is the linen was clean and fresh.

We have a yearly visit to Mandarah as my granddaughters love it there and have stayed at other resorts. This year we chose the Mandarah motel and apar**ents as the photos look great , especially the pools, which the girls love. On our first day there we went to the pool, there was no one else there and the girls were enjoying a swim. A woman came over and chatted, she did not introduce herself, but seems like a member of staff , and was wearing some badge on a lanyard, she was basically giving us a pep talk about pool etiquette and behaviour, ie no jumping in, no swearing, considerations of other guests, I didn’t have a issue with this as I don’t like bad behaviour , we followed advice and the girls did not once jump in the pool. We enjoyed our first day and evening, however the 2 nd evening there was a party in the apar**ent adjoining ours. We were unable to sit outside as our outside area was next to the party, loud music and drinking which went on until midnight, then continued inside the apar**ent with arguing and swearing until 3 am. We did notify staff around 9 pm, not as a complaint at that time , but asked if there was another apar**ent as we had children, unfortunately there wasn’t . I then advised staff and manager when we checked out in the morning, also there was a party in the day which isn’t a problem however we were unable to use the facilities tennis / crazy golf, then the party in the evening together ruined our 2 nd day , had we not have been travelling from overseas I’d have put the girls in the car and left . The manager did however tell us that the women who was giving us behaviour advice had no right to !!!! people / kids are expected to have fun in the pool. She wanted us to write a email about this , she was more concerned about the women giving advice then the party / noise / swearing until 3 am. On top of this I happened to move the cushion on the sofa and there was so much filth underneath. On a positive note the pool is lovely, the location is great, and we love Mandarah, would we stay at the motel and apar**ents again NO !!! Sorry guys

It's was the worse place we have stayed at , the bathroom was filthy, the whole room smelt of bleach ,the bathtub had scum marks around it, and a worm, the basin had some kind of dark marking on it ,

The Motel was lovely, so clean and nicely furnished. Not a big room, but enough room for a lovely double bed, couch and table, mini fridge, tv, cutlery and plates, and nice nice bathroom and shower. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends 😊 thanks guys for the hospitality.
