Exciting expirience. Location is very convinient, just 20 mins from Airport on boat. The landscape of the Islands is used very wisely - Marina for all the facilities (shops, restaraunts, dive and discovery center and kids clubs) while Saii island is mostly rooms, villas and garden. Therefore, it's very distinctive for Maldivian hotels to have so many entertainments at one place without sailling off the islands. We were very happy with double family beachroom with private pool. Ideal for family with 2-3 kids. The stuff was very friendly and many times they were favorably to guests. Especially I would love to thank Taya and Muhammad (Russian speaking) from reception and also Rejina from ms.Olive Oil restaraunt. Also Kid's club girls (also Russian speaking) were very helpful. Food is of a very high quality, many restaurants that you can chose for lunch and dinner. And very authentic food by the way. I mean if you go to Chinese or Thai restaurant, for example, be sure that it has been cooked by Chinese’s or Thai cook from products imported from these countries. So exploring the restaurants (more than 10 overall) is one of the main entertainments on the islands. Very interesting and animations and programs for all. My mom (59y) went to morning yoga, while kids spent time in the kids’s club. In the schedule we always found 1-2 interesting activity for us every day. Few things that could be improved. As to describe the moment al of our family felt the most stress in the Island is when we first time came for dinner. We were very hungry and as we just came and had no chance to reserve the restaurant for dinner, we were told by reception that usually ms.Olive Oil and mr.Tom Yam needs no reservation. But this very day ms.Olive Oil had a open air buffet diner that had to be reserved. And as we went thru the buffet it was a temptation, but we were told that we can come back in 1,5 hours only or go to mr.Tom Yam. For kids it was a punishment as mr.Tom Yam menu was very poor, especially comparing to the variety of dishes next table but not accessible to us. BTW, during next days of our stay, we still saw people like us staying at the entrance and negotiating to get a table. So my suggestion is to keep 2-3 free tables for a newcomers in the open air buffet days. Another small issue was with the safe in the room. Because of the backlight was turned on all the time, battery was drained every 2-3 days, and I had to call reception to open the safe and change battery.

Wir wollten schon lange einmal dem in Norddeutschland doch häufig zwischen den Tagen vorkommenden grauen Wetter entfliehen, am besten dorthin, wo es zu dieser Zeit sicher sonnig und warm ist. Dieser Wunsch wuchs gerade in der Corona-Zeit so stark, das wir es nun getan haben; Malediven …im Hardrock-Hotel. Wir haben nicht eine Sekunde bereut. Es stimmt einfach alles, das Wetter war klasse, die Anlage selber besteht aus drei Inseln, die verbunden sind, welche man zu Fuß,per Fahrrad(man bekommt 2 gestellt) oder per Buggy (einfach Rezeption anrufen…Buggy kommt).erkunden kann. Es gibt jeden Tag Livemusik irgendwo auf den Inseln ! Über die Festtage Weihnachten und Silvester gibt es dort das Pink-Festival…wo alles draußen pink illuminiert ist. Silvester wurde ein Riesenbuffet am Strand aufgebaut..mit Livemusik…und Silvestercountdown am Strand mit DJ.Achtung…das (Silvesterbuffet)kostet extra! Es war das Geld aber durchaus wert.Wir haben 340 US Doller extra bezahlt..bei AI. Überhaupt kann ich mich dem Rat anschließen, AI zu buchen, es sei denn, man lebt sehr….enthaltsam, ohne Lunch und Diner eben abgespeckt. Kurzum es war der Urlaub, den wir uns erhofft/erträumt haben..und das ganze Team dort arbeitet wirklich hart daran, das man auch dieses Traumurlaubsfeeling hat. Weiter so ! Es hat uns sehr gefallen, wir sind noch immer geflasht…werden uns demnächst erstmal die Hunderte pics / vids anschauen und Sehnsucht bekommen.

Welches andere Hotel der Welt gibt Ihnen einen Bon Voyage-Kakao zum Frühstück am Tag der Abreise? Ich würde dort fast 3 Wochen verblieben, aber als der Kuchen mit dem Küchenpersonal in einem Zug aufgetaucht war es eine überraschende Höhepunkt zu 3 Wochen hervorragender Service, geschmackvolles Essen und komfortable Schlaf. Das Hotel ist sehr bequem gelegen, nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Fähren vom Flughafen entfernt. Oder kann man das Hotels Auto nehmen, aber warum würden Sie nicht ein Boot in den Malediven nehmen? Es gibt eine Auswahl an Restaurants, Frühstück mit nur über jede Wahl, die Sie wünschen können, und ein kleines Fitnesscenter. Es gibt auch einen Pool neben dem Dach-Top Restaurant mit der besten Aussicht im Indischen Ozean. Die meisten Menschen verbringen wahrscheinlich nur einen Tag oder zwei in Male, aber wenn Sie sich für eine sehr angenehme Zeit suchen, sollte Hotel Jen oben auf Ihrer Liste stehen.

Es gab keine besonders hohen Erwartungen, aber die Erfahrung war schlechter als ich erwartet hatte. Als ich eincheckte, konnte ich die Ctrip-Bestellung lange Zeit nicht an der Rezeption finden. Ich sagte nichts anderes im Zimmer. Es roch nach Urin. Später stellte ich fest, dass die Klimaanlage zu stinkend war, um sie einzuschalten, aber nicht zu heiß. 2K eine Nacht ist wirklich zu übertrieben.

First full day here after a long haul flight thru Abu Dhabi. Beautiful location and room. Since my wife wanted to rest up in the room I headed down to the pool for the afternoon. The pool was called Lazuli beach club and it wasn’t very crowded on a Monday afternoon. Was a bit disappointed that none of the servers ever came over and offered any drinks or a menu. Every time I wanted a drink or even a water I had to walk up to the servers station and ask for it. Servers at the bar were very helpful. After that we got cleaned up and headed to the Pavilion bar for our complimentary drink before dinner. We sat down and waited a few minutes for the bartender to wait on us and were unpleasantly surprised when the bartender came over and said it was 6:34 and we missed the 5:30-6:30 window. I understand these are small things but they do matter. We travel quite often around the world and only return to our very favorite places. I believe this place will be a one and done.

Just a 10 minute drive away from Velana International Airport, we stayed at the hotel for a night on the day we arrived at Maldives. Its a nice B&B hotel in a great location at Hulhumale. We chose it because it was located next to the beach and had a lot of cafes and restaurants around it. We weren't disappointed. Our stay was also very pleasant as the room was clean and the staff service was excellent. Staff were very helpful regarding our requirements. Got great value for money, I must admit. As a no-frills transit hotel, I would highly recommend the property and would definitely stay again when I revisit Hulhumale.
