Hotel San Miguel Menorca

Very nice hotel in Mahón. Beautiful decoration, the staff very hepful, the lady at the reception was very nice sharing with me tips and tricks on what to visit and how to use the public transport. The breakfast was included, with an offer of vegan, vegetarian, and healthy food ;) Very cosy room, cleaned and equipped with all the becessary facilities. During the nights, go to the 3rd floor to enjoy the open air terrace and the restaurant located there.

A very poor experience staying 3 nights at Hotel San Miguel -- definitely NOT worth the 3-stars that it has, as this is at best a 2-star stay. The room itself is small but functional, with a comfortable bed and a nice large bathroom with a bathtub with a jacuzzi jet and a bidet, and even a window. The issues are in the (mis)management of the hotel: it seems to be run by a family that understands little about hospitality. The hotel wifi is ridiculously slow (hello, 21st century?) and in my room there is hardly any signal, so I had to tether my phone to get the internet. The room ironically has a wifi router, but it's connected to an ethernet jack that has no signal. Finally, there's very little storage in the room -- so if you come for more than a couple of days, you won't have where to put your stuff. The second morning I woke up to discover no hot water and went down to the desk to tell the staff about it. 20min later, there was still no hot water, and the manager was VERY UNHAPPY about ME pressing him for the ETA. Breakfasts are mediocre at best, though the espresso is very good, and you have to ask for everything explicitly -- note: you will be pushed to get sweet items instead of savory. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel -- I suggest you take your money elsewhere (and I would strongly recommend staying in Ciutadella anyway, it's got a much better vibe!)

Mucha humedad en la habitación con un fuerte olor. Se lo comunicamos a la chica de recepción. Las camas y almohadas muy incómodas, no pudimos tener un buen descanso. Desayuno correcto y la chica de la cocina muy amable y atenta. Lo mejor es su ubicación que está en el centro.

El Hotel San Miguel es un hotel muy muy correcto, todo reformado. Fueron siempre súper amables, especialmente antes de llegar que me contestaron los dos mil emails que les envié con preguntas Mi habitación 204 era amplia y bonita. En general me gustó mucho. Desayuno muy correcto con fríos y calientes (huevos bajo petición). Fruta no cortada. El agua de la ducha deja un cabello-estropajo, según me dicen amigos, pasa en toda la isla por la cal-sal del agua. Me puse mucho suavizante pero ni con esas. Ubicación súper céntrica y bien conectada con el aeropuerto Repetiría sin dudarlo

Petit hôtel situé à deux pas du centre ville et du port de Mahon dans une petite rue très calme. Nous y avons séjourné début Juin et avions une suite junior avec terrasse sur le toit, bien équipée et pouvant offrir 4 couchages. (grand lit double et banquette avec lit superposé) Salle de bains confortable avec baignoire. Excellent petit déjeuner sucré salé (produit frais et jus de fruit de bonne qualité) avec buffet et commande à la carte. Un grand merci pour l'accueil et le service irréprochable. Parking gratuit (mais assez encombré) à moins de 100 mètres. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Philippe et Laurence

Me alojé allí por una estancia de trabajo. El desayuno era variado y bien surtido. Las habitaciones son cómodas y sencillas. Una estancia agradable y muy recomendable para estancias de negocios como de ocio.

Todo estaba muy limio y ordenado. El desayuno era perfecto (pedí sin gluen y habia mucha variedad) todos los productos eran de gran calidad, locales y caseros. El trato del personal fue excelente. Seguro que repetimos.
