Mola Hostel

GREAT location! I loved it. We could walk anywhere. We got the private room and it was perfect Bigger than the average size hotel room. The people at the front desk was very friendy and helpful. The person at the coffee was very nice as well. I was suprise that we could not hear any noise from the basement where most of the young kids hang out. I will def. recommend it.

So staff was nice, trying to help me everytime I request it, points for that :) The room: I stayed on 8 bed female room (208), I request the bottom (which they gave) but the problem is that the balcony door was just in front of the bed and that door has a big window that cant be covered because the blinds were broken, so if you don't mind about little bit of light from the street coming to you in the night then its fine. Another point was that the bed doesn't have curtain and it doesn't feel private as we want even when is a shared room it could give a plus that I saw in another hostels (just an advice :) ). The rooms are cold :( The bathroom is outside the room and always has hot shower, very pleasant for the cold season. In general the stay with them was okay. They helped me to book taxi to the airport for 30euros. Taxi driver was very punctual (30min from the hostel)

Mola Hostel is walking distance from Plaza Mayor and Sol Metro station. Good location. I stayed in a 8 bed female dorm. I was surprised to see that the beds are big. And it is very comfortable. I had a good sleep. The beds are separated from the toilet and bath but it is not on a common area. It is good so that when we fixed our things we do not disturb those who are sleeping. The staff were helpful in answering questions about certain trips, places to go, etc. For this hostel, the common area is on the [-2] floor which you can only access with your card. The common area is just okay. It has a lot of tables with a bar. It is grouped in a floor together with the locker and laundry. Note that when you checkout, the only way to store the luggage is by locker which can cost up to 7euro for 24hrs big locker.

Great hostel, stayed in a female dorm and everyone was very quiet and respectful. Would advise to bring earplugs and eye masks as no curtains separating beds but this was the best hostel we stayed in.

A very nice hostel in the heart of Madrid, well connected to public transport. Beds are comfy, rooms are really clean. Prices are really reasonable. The common area is really nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

24h antes de la llegada al hostel nos indicaron que había un error en la reserva (reserva realizada 2 meses antes) y que nos cancelaban la reserva y la teníamos que volver a hacer por 1.000 euros más... Todo esto el día anterior a la llegada con 2 menores y con todos los alojamientos de Madrid a tope. Falta de profesionalidad absoluta.

Horrible désastreux… après une réservation pour 3 nuits dans une chambre de 8 lits nous avons quitté l’hôtel le lendemains matin . La chambre était sale fenêtre qui ne fermait pas store degeulasse et le bruit toute la nuit qui nous a fait passer une nuit blanche … nous nous sommes plaintes à la réception auprès des deux réceptionnistes de mauvaise fois qui une fois monter dans la chambre constate bien l’état de la chambre et nous promet un remboursement des deux nuit restante à l’accueil… une fois redescendues avec nos bagages le discours avait changé elles nous ont refusés le remboursement … HONTEUX!!!!!!!! À FUIR!!!!
