Literally disgusting. Upon opening the door to the room for the first time we were hit with an awful smell like someone had just died. The toilet and shower area smelled like old sweat. There was mould everywhere and the beds were very uncomfortable. Avoid this place at all cost. I have no idea how it’s rated so highly.

Greeted with a friendly smile. Booked the pet friendly room. Absolute pleasurable stay. The room did not stink of previous dogs. Beds comfortable and the reception staff were very friendly and guided us on our way to best local food and attractions to see.

Well kept room and comfortable bed. Stone features in bathroom floor and walls are very pretty. Older country style, but very classic. Staff are amazing, very welcoming and the room was clean. Quiet area and parking directly in front of room. Great stay!

A country Queensland standout motel. Very friendly and efficient staff (yes you Lisa!) and very well presented rooms. A comfy and welcoming oasis for weary travellers and holiday makers alike. Will go back!

This motel proved to be a rather pleasant surprise to both the hip pocket and the quality of sleep when compared to the majority of similar establishments along the QLD coast. It was clean, fairly well maintained and reasonably private for a quite night's rest. It shows that some hotel owners/managers do still put pride and customer satisfaction first when it comes to running a business.

Stayed there during our trip up to Mission Beach from Mackay. The room was well appointed and very clean, no dramas about your loved pet, there are 5 rooms in the complex. The restaurant was closed for a function, but we were able to get room service. Food was some of the best we have EVER had. Garlic prawns for me and a juicy steak for my wife. Lisa is the Manager, fantastic person.
