The hotel itself is located in a quiet, beautiful place near all of the ski mountains. Kim was so friendly and went above and beyond. I had scheduled a pickup to go to Hunter Mountain and my ride never showed up. I had limited service, which made it hard to find a new way to the mountain. Kim then provided me with transportation to the mountain. It was a very great experience here.

This is a classic, retro roadside hotel high in the Catskill Mountains. Rustic and very simple but clean and cozy. Kim the hostess is charming. Beautiful surroundings. Convenient to skiing, hiking, fishing.

The motel is very cute & had a mini kitchen. River running through the back yard. Easy to find. Free breakfast. We had a great stay & will definitely visit again!

Room was clean but the outside was old and dirty. Tv was located in corner behind the bed so you cant watch from bed. No comfortable chairs to sit in. We checked out a day early because of this

The creek was right behind the property. I liked the complimentary breakfast and coffee. The room was clean. The bathroom had a leaky faucet. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Our niece was having their wedding in Roxbury on the mountain. We found most places to stay were booked. We booked The Black Bear Lodge. About 17 miles from the wedding venue. When arrive was surprised to see a small motel’ish place. Wasn’t too sure about this. But met the owner “Kim” and went to the room. Was impressed of how clean it was. The beds were comfortable. Decora was old. It was kinda like spending the weekend at grandmas house. Kim had coffee and a breakfast snack for us in the morning. All in All a very nice weekend.

Your typical motel. Small room but doable. The clerk was very nice and pleasant. She had breakfast ready in the morning, muffin and fruit, in a brown paper bag for us to pick up at the office. Had coffee for guests. Towels were very nice, they were not your usual sandpaper towels, they were heavy and plush. The only bad thing was there was no outlet in the bathroom.
