Gîte du Vert Rivage à Stang Korvenn is a renovated farmhouse set in 3 acres of gardens beside the Aulne River, on the edge of the Black Mountains and on the edge of Armorique Regional Park and offers accommodation in our adjoining 2 bedroomed self catering cottage. The cottage is comfortably furnished with 2 double bedrooms , living room and kitchen and has a 32-inch HD TV with satellite channels. I, and free WiFi. There is a private parking space and garden with barbecue facilities. Bikes are available to borrow and there is a games barn for guests with football table, tennis table and gym equipment. Fishing is available at an extra cost for the permits. In the midst of quiet countryside while situated close to a good road, the lovely medieval town of Quimper is a 20-minute drive from us and the west coast of Finistere can be reached by car in 30 minutes.Mehr anzeigen

We stayed in the Gite alongside the main house, a beautifull location, it was spacious and well equiped, ideal for us as a family to be self contained. Brian and Jill are fantastic hosts, friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. Happy to share their local knowledge. The canal at the back, for the kids meant adventure, swimming, cycling and full of wildlife, inc sightings of the orange toothed Coypu. There are many places of interest to see or simply lounge around on any of the uncrowded beaches. As a holiday base this really was the best place to have stayed…we already re-booked.
