GGastnutzerThe hotel is really nice, though a bit hard to find. Beautiful interior decorating, including our room: the Clark Gable. The best thing about the hotel is the location: easy walking distance to The Vault, Foxy Foxy, other eateries. Not far from the park. The main drawback for the Clark Gable room was the problem of air conditioning. The room has a room air conditioner which exhausts through a window. At night it is loud though the hotel owners thoughtfully provided ear plugs. But the problem is that even if you turn the AC down to 72%, it could not cool the room on a not very warm September night. Both my wife and I woke up early sweating because the room was too hot and muggy. Other guests say the temperature was great in the main building, so if we return we will get a room there.

GGastnutzerI was in Savannah for depositions. If I am being honest, Planters Inn was not my first choice as I usually stay within the Hilton family. But those hotels were all booked. I was a little apprehensive having seen a few bad reviews, but chose Planters Inn because it was the closest to where I needed to be. to be. In hindsight, I am glad the Hilton properties were booked. The hotel has much more character than the other guys. Yes, the property shows its age, but it is well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I am used to at much higher priced hotels. The staff, however, is what makes the Planters Inn a real gem. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond with a few late-night tasks I needed to complete in preparation for my work the following day. I plan to return to Savannah with my wife in the near future as tourists (I had no real time for sightseeing on his trip), and when I do I will be staying at the Planters Inn.

GGastnutzerHotel location was very convenient, staff was friendly, accommodations were clean. One disappointment was excessive addition of fees and taxes on my credit card. I booked through a third party booking sight for convenience and cost. I did anticipate the additional fee of using the hotels parking garage, however I was verry displeased with all of the other additional charges added. I knew parking was $50 a day, I did not used any other amenities through the hotel, i.e.: breakfast, television, room service, however I was charged an additional $277 for an accommodation fee, occupancy fee, destination fee, ect... I did address this numerous times with the front desk, and was assured only necessary charges would be added, the rest would drop off. Overall, the accommodations were pleasant. However, we will not be returning due to excessive additional fees

BBoriykhonDas ist ein sehr gemütliches und komfortables Hotel, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier wirklich genossen. Einer der größten Vorteile ist die hervorragende Lage es ist sehr nahe den wichtigsten historischen Gebieten, so können Sie Savannah einfach Fuß zu Fuß erkunden.
Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool und einen Fitnessraum, der nach einem langen Tag der Stadt zu Fuß ein großer Bonus ist. Alles war sauber und gut gepflegt.
Der Parkplatz ist verfügbar und bezahlt, rund $40 –50 pro Nacht, das ist ganz typisch für diesen Bereich. Allerdings konnte ich persönlich kostenlose Straßenparkplätze in der Nähe finden, was eine schöne Überraschung war.
Insgesamt, ein großes Hotel mit warmer Atmosphäre, gute Einrichtungen und einer unschlagbaren Lage. Sehr empfohlen!
