The hotel is really nice, though a bit hard to find. Beautiful interior decorating,  including our room: the Clark Gable. The best thing about the hotel is the location: easy walking distance to The Vault, Foxy Foxy, other eateries. Not far from the park. The main drawback for the Clark Gable room was the problem of air conditioning. The room has a room air conditioner which exhausts through a window. At night it is loud though the hotel owners thoughtfully provided ear plugs. But the problem is that even if you turn the AC down to 72%, it could not cool the room on a not very warm September night. Both my wife and I woke up early sweating because the room was too hot and muggy. Other guests say the temperature was great in the main building, so if we return we will get a room there.

I was in Savannah for depositions. If I am being honest, Planters Inn was not my first choice as I usually stay within the Hilton family. But those hotels were all booked. I was a little apprehensive having seen a few bad reviews, but chose Planters Inn because it was the closest to where I needed to be. to be. In hindsight, I am glad the Hilton properties were booked. The hotel has much more character than the other guys. Yes, the property shows its age, but it is well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I am used to at much higher priced hotels. The staff, however, is what makes the Planters Inn a real gem. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond with a few late-night tasks I needed to complete in preparation for my work the following day. I plan to return to Savannah with my wife in the near future as tourists (I had no real time for sightseeing on his trip), and when I do I will be staying at the Planters Inn.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Sowohl die Sauberkeit als auch das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Die Lage ist zudem sehr günstig, da die Attraktionen der River Street bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind.

Ich musste die Frontdeskbelle viermal anrufen, bevor jemand kam. Wartete etwa acht Minuten. Dies war um ca. 4 Uhr. Das Zimmer war sauber genug. Unidentifizierte Tröpfe und Splitter hier und dort auf den Wänden. Obwohl wir für zwei Nächte gebucht haben, wurden wir nur ein Handtüchersatz und eine Rolle von Toilettenpapier gegeben. Ich musste mehr fragen. Das Lobbybad war kurz auf Toilettenpapier, hatte keine Papiertücher und volles Gepäck. Am nächsten Tag war der Gepäckraum nicht geändert worden. Noch keine Papiertücher und jetzt kein Toilettenpapier. Ich musste zum Vordertafel gehen und fragen, ob ich es füllen konnte. Sie haben mich gelassen. Es schien, als würde nur eine Person zu jeder bestimmten Zeit arbeiten und mehrmals ging ich zum Vorderbüro und es gab ein Zeichen, dass sie jemand anderen helfen. Viele Papiere hinterlassen auf dem Frontdesk mit Hotelbuchungsinformationen mit niemand um, um es privat zu halten. Insgesamt habe ich einen guten Deal und eine Person hielt es hinten, um durchschnittlich zu sein. Ich würde nicht zurückgehen, wenn ich mehr bezahlen musste, um dort zu bleiben.

The location is great! Steps away from the Plant Riverside District and good/bad - the restaurants/bars. One could hear the music pounding into the night. The hotel was also located within walking distance of the City Market and many of the city squares/parks. A hot breakfast was available with the stay. Unfortunately, the hot food was not always readily available (empty trays) and not hot as well. The breakfast tables were not bussed so one had to wipe and clean it down oneself if you wanted a clean table. The rooms were clean and the beds/pillows/linens were comfortable. The hygiene items (shampoo/conditioner/bath gel, soap, & lotion) were in pump bottles so there was plenty to use during our entire stay without having to ask housekeeping/front desk for more supplies. The front desk staff who registered us was very nice and housekeeping was pleasant in their greetings. The breakfast crew staff ... not as friendly or helpful/customer oriented.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, sicher, sauber, sehr nahe am Flughafen und in der Nähe auch Golfplätze!

Große Lage, aber $33/Tag Parkplatz war eine totale Überraschung! Das Zimmer war einfach und sauber, aber der Minikühlschrank war sehr laut, und Sie konnten jedes kleine Lärm hören (auch Fußsteig auf dem Boden draußen) plus Sie konnten das Fernsehen des Nachbarn klar und alles hören, was sie gesagt haben. Das Bett war weich, aber große Divots von früheren Gästen. Sehr schwer zu schlafen.
