HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre - Hostel

特別棒 前台意大利小哥人很好，給的旅遊建議超好，因為開車去班夫衹要半個多小時，後面也住這兒了，便宜又好，環境好，周邊就有超市 加油站 免費大巴去雪場

位置是一級的好，超級棒，而且衞生也不錯，餐廳的餐飲是很讚的，比其他地方要便宜一些

We stayed two nights here in one of the private rooms. Positives of course were the price relative to other Lake Louise properties (but at 180 per night, is still way outta bounds for HI!), location for us to get to the ski hill and out exploring the area's amazing winter trails. And as always, the restaurant was amazing. Negatives would be that we found staff service to be adequate, but not overly memorable and most of our fellow hostel-goers being quite stuffy and not much for conversation. Late night cleaning staff also "evicted" our daughter from the unlocked common area while she was there quitely reading at 10pm. Seems a bit heavy handed for what is meant to be a very informal place to stay (just a hostel!). A little odd of an experience. I think HI can do better. And just because the neighbourhood costs an arm and a leg doesn't mean you need to "keep up".

Spent 2 nights at Lake Louise - in 2 different rooms. The first one with a private bathroom and the 2nd without. Both rooms were fantastic and great value, very modern and clean - much more than I bargained for. The bathrooms and showers were plentiful and super close to our room. Parking was great and not far from reception. Bill Peyto Restaurant which we ate at both days was very good value, not too expensive and the servers on both days were happy to help and super friendly.

I didn't know what to expect at a Hostel, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the two buildings have nice sitting areas and large kitchens. It's in a great location close to Lake Louise Village. We ate breakfast and dinner at Bill Peyto's, the onsite restaurant, and both were excellent. The morning server was a bit inattentive (I saw her reading a magazine when we were trying to get her attention to pay our bill). The dinner server was fantastic. He was very efficient and cheerful. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s been over 30 years since I last stayed in a hostel. This was not our first choice but was our only choice at short notice. Queen bed on-suite room was acceptable. Did not realize on-suite was a toilet and hand basin - shower was across the hall. The bed comfortable and room big enough to accommodate our luggage. Only negative was our upstairs neighbours arrived at 1130pm and spent 2 hours stomping around their room (despite a polite knock on door from us at 1230am to let them know the floors very thin and not sound proofed - the stomping and banging continued for another hour). Otherwise it was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Front office staff very efficient and polite. Better service than some pricier places we have stayed at.

It's been a while since I have stayed at a hostel. I was impressed with how comfortable the beds were. We had our own bathroom in our 5 bed room and the showers were across the hall. They also provide the towels. There is a large kitchen area and lots of space for food storage, a large parking lot AND a private link for getting a bus to Lake Louise. There is also a popular restaurant on site, as well as group activities available. All the workers I encountered were extremely helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It is very convenient for visiting the area. We booked the Fairview Limo shuttle for our Lake Moraine sunrise visit and you catch it just across the street. The village is just a 5 min walk across the bridge.

I spent 7 nights here. Private room with ensuite bath. Shower is directly across the hallway. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Gave me 2 room keycards in case one failed so I wouldn’t have to go back down to the front desk. Wifi, lounge, laundry room, lots of parking, fire pit. Large clean kitchen with cooking stations and tables. 3 large refrigerators and one freezer for your groceries. Holders of HI card get 10% discount. I stayed off season and got a further reduction by staying 7 nights. Extra towels available along with a hair dryer. Bill Peyto Cafe on-site is a great place to mix and mingle.

Great location, 5-10 min drive from lake Louise or about an hour 15 walk. We stayed at two other HI hostels previously, which we found to be cleaner (in kitchen area) and better equipped. However, room was clean, well sized, and never needed to wait to use shower or toilets. Lovely stay.
