Stayed at the Rabbit hole whenever in SA. Rooms are unique and comfortable. Owner is friendly and go over and above to make your stay excellent. Breakfast is fresh and personable. I would recommend this accommodation to all!

Accommodation, Food, Staff and Facilities was really nice. Really appreciated the relaxed feel with open bar facilities and Cappuccino's with breakfast. Safe free onsite parking and fully catered to your every need. Will definitely stay here when in RSA again...

Our nonprofit (preventiontime.org) took a team of 19 people from Seattle to Johannesburg to work in the townships and villages in Johannesburg and other locations around South Africa. I worked with Friedah to book the rooms and an evening buffet and she was very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely place filled with quirky nooks and crannies and we all sort of wished we could just spend a day exploring and appreciating it, rather than going out to the townships. And the food was AMAZING! This is definitely the number one place to stay if you're in the area.

It was great...My room was clean, tidy and cozy. The breakfast was good. The breadbasket area was neat and tidy and the bread was fresh...I had a great stay and will definitely make use of this service again.

The place puts a smile on your face after a long exhausting day. Food and hospitality were great, the fireplaces in the dining room really heats the place and gives great atmosphere! Something a bit different to the norm, where a huge amount of work went into with great passion.

Very happy with my overall experience, rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Showers hot and electric blankets on the beds,great touch. Staff very friendly and a lovely breakfast. Will be back for sure.

What a superb place! From the booking over email to the front desk service and throughout until check out! And our puppy was allowed to join too! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. the rooms are prestige and adorable in their garden setting. The rooms were warm when we arrived and every thing was spotless. The boys especially enjoyed watching their shows on Netflix on the in-room television. Oh did I mentioned breakfast was too notch with every treat you could imagine on a cold morning. Coffee was the best! Highly recommended if you are traveling with a small pooch or family!

My stay at the Rabbit Hole Hotel was, simply put, a fantastic experience. Every day, Rothea (the owner) and Friedah (Rothea's assistant) went out of their way to ensure our stay was just perfect. I also have to mention the rest of the staff at the hotel and how friendly they all were. The food - where do I even start? The food was out of this world and the kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate my Mother's special dietary needs. I cannot say enough good things about the food and the obvious love and care that went into the preparation. The hotel is something I've never experienced before in my life. I's magically whimsical in it's design and I cannot even imagine the time and effort it took to create, Everywhere you look something new pops out at you and I loved how peaceful and serene the grounds were while at the same time making the walk to and from the main hotel area feel like a little adventure because of all the beautiful plants and water features along the way. The hotel also has a wonderfully comfortable lounge area where my brother and I relaxed many nights while enjoying a cherry by the warm fireplace. Truly a relaxing experience. The accommodations were very roomy, clean and comfortable and the staff made sure the rooms were cleaned and prepped every day. Having limited luggage space on this trip I especially appreciated the laundry service and was delighted to find my clothes washed and neatly folded every day. I booked my accommodations from the USA and admittedly I had some trepidations before doing so but I'm happy to report The Rabbit Hole Hotel uses a top notch electronic payment system and I had zero issues paying for my accommodations. In conclusion, the Rabbit Hole is a fantastic hotel and I completely fell in love with Rothea and Friedah. I will definitely be back for my next visit and I highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodations in that area.

I went to Rabbit Hotel from Brazil and felt so comfortable with the welcoming environment, a place decorated with a lot of artwork that brings cozyness. Wonderful people always ready to gladly support the guests and comfortable rooms with heating, snacks, wifi and everything else that describes on sites.
