Meine Frau und ich waren im September für 10 Tage dort. Die Zimmer sind für 2 Personen recht gross und sauber. Eine schöne Poolanlage mit Pool-Bar wo man auch was kleines essen kann ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Gemäss frühere Bewerter soll das Frühstück eher sparsam gewesen sein, wir wurden jetzt aber positiv überrascht. Es gab sogar Rührei, Spiegelei, gebratener Speck, Würstchen sowie Käse- Fleischplatte und Brotauswahl. Ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistung-Verhältnis. Das Hotel ist nicht direkt am Meer. Es führt eine steile Strasse hinunter zum wunderschönen Strand mit Imbiss Bar. Zu Fuss benötigten wir etwa 10 Minuten hinunter und 15 Minuten hinauf. Es gibt aber auch einen Bus. Zum Dorf hinauf sind es zu Fuss nur 5 Minuten. Dort gibt es viele gute Tavernen und Bars. Wir waren mit Bus oder Mietauto auch an andere Orte essen, meine Erfahrung: Die Besten Tavernen sind in Kryopigi. Überall sehr nette Gastfreundschaft, so wie wir Griechenland an nicht überlaufenen Touristen-Orten gewohnt ist.

Still here but didn’t want to forget to review this absolutely fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us, they helped us with our luggage to the room and even made sure the kitchen chef made us something to eat as we arrived really late. The rooms are perfect, there was myself, husband and our 7 year old son sharing a studio room. The room itself was so spacious with a double bed and single for our son. We had a job, fridge and sink which could come in handy if needed. The balcony is really spacious and we had a lovely view of the pool and the sea. So picturesque! The pool area and bar is so clean and has fantastic views of the gulf, you can even seen the mountains which are 45 miles away on a clear day. The beach bar is reasonably priced and offers bar snacks, crisps and drinks. Theres so much choice at breakfast and I was obsessed with the Greek yoghurt and honey. The beach is 700m down the hill but the hotel and the Atkion beach bar provide a free bus up and down every hour. We absolutely loved this hotel, we couldn’t fault it at all and are so sad to be leaving tomorrows it’ll always have a piece of our heart and we’ll definitely be back.

Just returned from an 8 night stay for a family holiday with a 3 and 6 year old. Hotel was lovely. Very clean, staff welcoming, grounds lovely and beautiful pool views. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, pastries, bread, cooked breakfast, greek yogurt, fruit and cereals. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels/ bedding changed every other day. Small kitchen area with fridge. They provided washing up liquid and a sponge for the sink. The bathroom was lovely,very powerful shower and a glass screen instead of a shower curtain which is certainly nicer. The pool area was spotless, we visited over May half term and there were sunbeds always available, was a relaxing place to be. Food at the pool bar was nice and reasonably priced but I did think the price of the drinks and ice cream was expensive compared to the main *****. The main ***** is a few mins walk up the hill, very manageable. The beach about 10 mins walk down a hill, bit steeper but again manageable and beautiful scenery. There is a minibus shuttle you can use at the hotel I think at 11, 14:00 and 16:00. Overall very lovely place to stay. Would recommend.

The whole set up was geared to guarantee a special break. The Staff were so helpful, and the Cleaning Staff were very efficient and clearly happy in their work. Facilities were very much as advertised, and the location could not have been better. 20 minutes walk to the beach, and 15 minutes walk to the Village High Street.

The best overall holiday we have ever had!! Like most of you we've been on many holidays around Europe and Greece at least 15 times, hotel spotless and laid back all staff helpful when needed and very down to earth ,we didn't go for the dearest apartment or the best sea view ect but that what we got,and I think most other guest got the same.We had a lovely room everyone gets a lovely patio area with table and chairs and a view, you could pay 10 times the amount and not get a view the one you will get from the pool area or most of the room.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great breakfast, same every day but good quality. Views so lovely. A steep hill to walk up , but we'll worth it. Definitely try Antholas restaurant in the square and the coffee at the Sugar bar restaurant.

A gorgeous hidden gem, I would highly recommend this place, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The bar was well stocked and offered a range of food and drinks from coffee to cocktails, all reasonably priced. I am sad to leave but hope to return in the future. The pool is a good size and plenty of sunbeds available. I honestly cannot give this place enough praise, the apartment was a good size with basic cooking facilities , a fridge and kettle, the beds are comfortable and spacious, we also had a small patio area that overlooked both the sea and the pool, we had 3 chairs and a table also an airer for drying clothes, the walk in shower was a welcome sight with 2 heads 1 large and a smaller one. Very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and a great choice ranging from fresh bread to fried eggs and everything in between, again very clean and hot. They also run a free shuttle to the beach and back if needed 3 times a day. What more can I say except I wish them all the best for the future and thank you

Last minute 4 night bed and breakfast with my husband. Studio apartment very spacious with large shower, kitchen area (toaster, kettle, hob, fridge, sink, cutlery, crockery and glasses everything you need). Fantastic views from our terrace, views of the pool area and sea to the left, hills to the right. Sun all day long on the terrace definitely the best apartment number 108. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet with great choice of fresh fruits, pastries, cooked foods. Pool bar very convenient. Great range of drinks and food. Lots of sun loungers around pool. Quite and relaxing. Beach is down the hill definitely catch the hotel bus back up as long and steep. Must take beach shoes for the sea as rocky around the first section where sun loungers cost €10 each which includes a drink. Beach Cafe with food and drinks lovely view. If you walk further along lots of lovely sand. Hotel is on a hill so there is a walk up to the Main Street. But hotel can always call you a taxi if you can’t make the walk. Restaurants and bars on the main road excellent (Taverna Nikos, Balatsos, Anthoulas and Casablanca (food staff and cocktail’s excellent). A few small food market shops to pick up water etc. Well worth the visit.

We have just arrived back from Alkion Hotel Sidari We had overall great experience The management bar staff reception very friendly very good. Entertainment every night some decent entertainment Abba Elvis Karaoke. Food must say was not the best for us having read all reviews on Facebook saying how good food was we eat out most days smugglers Fagins Crispy Duck all we both loved and personally rate. Hotel in good location to supermarkets the ***** bars Babylon Maddison bar Plus pharmacy right opposite our hotel In great location in Sidari We have been 4 times best hotels we have stayed in even tho food not great We had great time weather was good and would definitely recommend the hotel entertainment staff small friendly run hotel go see for yourself Hope this helps anyone thinking of going to sidari first time Steve and Sharon Heathcock
