Riviera Beach Bungalows

The hotel was old and nasty. It seemed like it wasn’t renovated for a while. Neither the garden nor the beach was taken care of. We have rented the standart room (65 euro per night), and big spiders welcomed us in the room. Firstly, we offered to change our room free of charge because it was such a bad room that it was not possible for us to stay in,. Finally they told us that we can stay at a better room by paying 20 euros more, we desperately accepted and stayed there one night. In addition the breakfast menu was poor and while swimming i saw a piece of $hit passing by me. Overall, the worst thing about the hotel was when i informed them that we were gonna check in -relatively late- at 10pm the respond wasn’t satisfying. We were told that 10pm was fine but if we checked in in the middle of the night after ****** or somewhat they wouldn’t be welcoming?? It was quiet a rude respond.

A super place to stay. The Riviera Beach Bungalows has been our “go to” spot for many years because of it’s superb location, great staff and relaxed atmosphere. The native plant gardens along the sea front and around the rooms adds to the experience and provides shade while relaxing after a delightful swim. The food served is very tasty basic Turkish Cypriot food. We rarely go out to one of the local restaurants because of the setting at the Riviera is so delightful. Watching the sun set into the ocean is quite nice. There is a great concrete pier that allows you to drop into the sea without getting your feet sandy. Great for early morning swims! The staff will arrange for airport transfers, rental cars, taxis and anything else you need help with. It’s easy to get into Kyrenia on the local bus available just a short walk away. The Riviera Beach Bungalows is a place to relax and unwind. We have found a 10 day to 2 week stay is just right. Don’t expect entertainment or any frills, instead enjoy and appreciate the healing effects of this lovely place.
