Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort

This property is at an exceptional beautiful location. The property is surrounded in deep forest of cedar trees about 50-100 ft high at Macleod ganj hill top. A narrow road that is quite steep takes you to the hotel. Place is very calm and you can listen to only chirping of birds. The reception is very elegant and spacious. The staff is very courteous, sweet and welcoming. You feel as you are a king. After only few seconds you are checked in and guided to a beautiful and exceptionally comfortable room. You are provided a weekly calendar of in property entertainment activities, many a morning yoga session by Mr Saurabh, a well trained and soft spoken yoga trainer, but best part is the location of yoga Woden deck located behind the hotel building in deep forest and surrounded by very tall cedar trees. Very serene environment. Second attraction is a daily tracking guided tour to nearby locations like Stupa point, flag point and Dharamkot is a locality known as 'Tel Aviv of hills'. It is the only village in the state with a Jewish community center – the Chabad house, which stands in the middle of the village and looks like 770 Eastern Parkway. Restaurants serve Israeli dishes : falafel, shakshuka and hummus with pita. We took all these tracking tours with a hotel guide and greatly enjoyed it. Best part the hotel provides free assistance for preparing your travel itinerary for Dhramshalla and Macleod Ganj. Mr Kulbubshan Thakur the entertainment manager was kind enough to create a very exhaustive itinerary. At a reasonable charges of Rs 3500+taxes a guide was provided to accompany us for full day to take us to about 5-7 places each day, which we would have never ever able to do on our own. The warm swimming pool and exquisite SPA are the silver lining in your stay. The restaurant offers more than 100 dishes to choose from in the morning breakfast. Each prepared with full culinary passion and tingle your tastebuds. Their lunch, high tea and dinner were always elaborate and absolutely perfect. It is our sheer luck and Almighty grace we were guest at such a wonderful property. Yukesh the lead restaurant manager energy, behaviour and working under tremendous pressure and always smiling and ready to serve your each food demand is breaking the glass ceiling in hospitality services. Salute to the entire team of Hyatt Regency Dhramshalla you set the bar of excellence so high that is unmatched in hotel industry. Keep the good work.

We stayed here during our recent family vacation. The property is beautiful, well maintained and nestled between tall deodar trees. The heated pool is impressive ***** with gym and spa. They also have a home theatre where we enjoyed watching movies with kids. The food was delicious. Kudos to the the entire f&b team specially chef gaurav, staff ujjval, anshika, Sunil, Komal, nikhil and Sunil at the bar. They catered to our needs for our 1 year old at all times and hours. We also had great time at club lounge bar. The housekeeping staff did a great job too specially Sachin considering the condition of our room everyday with 2 kids. Only thing we felt out of order was the play area and the staff there, Ginni. The facility is very good with many games and activities but the staff didn't seem very interested and fond of playing with kids. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

We booked the 5 bedroom villa which was out of this world! Our personal butler Praveen was very proactive and helpful. Property is very well maintained, lots to do for the kids and mall road at walking distance.

Amazing property and great hospitality. Superb location and atmosphere. Special mention of our butler Mr Ujjwal who was extraordinarily serving us throughout our stay at our villa 6. He was very much concerned and helpful and always smiling and fulfilled our demands. Mr sunil - housekeeping incharge was also very helpful and great at our service. Chef Vishal also made special arrangements for local food preparations. Robin was also very helpful and made our stay very nice. Neat and clean property. Nice food. Overall great experience. The villa we stayed was awesome. Will definitely try to visit again.

I have been to this hotel ***** with my family multiple times. Each time the hotel staff had made sure that our experience and time at the hotel was worthwhile. Right from check in until we checked out. Our any kind of requirements were taken care of. Amazing and clean property with beautiful rooms, amazing Mountain views, great food in the restaurant are few things to name.

Right from the moment we stepped into the resort, we were wowed by the true Hyatt hospitality. It’s a beautiful resort on a hilltop within a thick deodar forest. Approach is through a steep incline but car goes up to the resort. From Camp Hyatt for kids to wellness activities to temperature controlled swimming pool to a private theatre to a spa to a beautiful bar with live singing each night, you name it and you will find the facility here. Everyone greets you with a smile and will go out of the way to make you feel special in true Hyatt style. Peaceful and serene environs next to a world renowned meditation and wellness retreat. Must visit once. Some things you should know - The google maps location shows a road behind the resort and you cannot access the resort from there. There is a native monkey population although totally harmless. You won’t get good views of snowy peaks of Dhauladhar range because of the thick Deodar cover. Some things like shower room and spa etc need some upgrade.

A must visit . Quietly nestled in the greens, it has a serene feeling. Very welcoming staff and a very comfortable hotel.

Great location with walking access to markets. Yoga and trekking activities hosted in the morning that helps start the day on a good note. Excellent benefits for Globalist including breakfast, room upgrades and access to lounge for drinks/snacls.
