Excellent view of the Kandy Lake, great English style breakfast, top class accommodation with friendly hosting by the manager. If you come to Kandy, you must choose this hotel, no cap~

房間很大、陽台正對着湖，但前面還有很多建築衹能看到湖的一個邊邊。 從酒店到湖邊走路3分鐘，步行走到佛牙寺不超過10分鐘。安靜但很方便。 如果需要酒店幫忙叫車且行程複雜的話、跟前台溝通時務必文字留痕。我本來到Yala附近的一日行程、讓酒店幫忙聯繫個包車司機，不知道咋回事，包車司機收到的行程單是把我們放在Ella。雖然最終解決了但比較影響心情。

Este hotel se encuentra a unos 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad, lo cual puede ser un pequeño inconveniente debido a que es cuesta arriba, pero la ubicación ofrece una cierta tranquilidad. Aunque el hotel es pequeño, cuenta con una piscina en la azotea que ofrece unas vistas maravillosas de los alrededores, lo que es perfecto para relajarse. Respecto al restaurante, decidimos no desayunar allí porque el servicio es a la carta y nos pareció un poco caro. Sin embargo, la habitación es bastante amplia y cuenta con una cocina integrada, lo que permite preparar el desayuno o alguna comida. Lo curioso es que la cocina no está equipada; no hay platos ni cubiertos disponibles, lo que resulta un poco confuso. Las instalaciones del hotel son adecuadas y bien mantenidas, aunque los pasillos que dan acceso al ascensor son con varias curvas que complican el acceso, lo que puede resultar incómodo en ocasiones. En general, nuestra estancia fue buena. Sin embargo, si buscas vida nocturna o más opciones de entretenimiento, tendrás que desplazarte hacia el centro de la ciudad, ya que en los alrededores solo hay otros hoteles y poco más.

It’s a four-room hotel transformed from governor house which has a unique historic colonial style. Room has no windows and no common hotel area. Located next to the Tooth Temple and central streets, convenient for visits and restaurants. Breakfast at the French bistro next door which has good lever of food provided but surprisingly slow service. Overall it’s a good stay for Kandy, but value for money is relatively low.

Un hôtel charmant et lumineux, avec quelques points à améliorer… J’ai séjourné au Dumbara Peak Residence à Kandy, un hôtel très joli à l’intérieur, décoré avec goût et offrant une atmosphère chaleureuse et agréable. L’accès peut être un peu difficile si vous avez des valises lourdes, car l’hôtel se trouve au 2ᵉ étage, accessible par un couloir assez étroit. Heureusement, quelqu’un est venu nous aider à monter les bagages jusqu’à la chambre, un geste vraiment apprécié mais l’espace reste étroit et peut être un défi selon votre équipement. La chambre était très belle, lumineuse et propre, vraiment charmante. En revanche, le lit était trop petit pour quelqu’un de 1m90 comme moi ; j’ai dû dormir en diagonale pour être à l’aise. C’est un point important qui mériterait d’être amélioré pour le confort des clients plus grands… L’accueil a été très sympathique : un jus de fruits frais nous a été offert à l’arrivée, ce qui est toujours agréable après un trajet. L’endroit est calme et offre une ambiance tranquille. Dans l’ensemble, un bel hôtel avec un joli charme, un bon accueil et un environnement apaisant avec quelques ajustements, il pourrait être encore meilleur.

Absolutely stunning, giant compound with an extensive history! They even offer a history walking tour but unfortunately there weren’t enough people signed up to make the tour happen. If you’re looking for a “colonial” stay, this is a great place. I recommend just walking around to see it for yourself. It’s also right on Kandy Lake, so it’s a nice walk (and not too far from the Kandyan Culture Center and the Sacred Tooth Temple Meals were good, but service sometimes is a little messy. Buffet was missing things like tongs or a cloth over the tray handles (which were hot to touch), but there’s a lot of servers walking around so I’m sure they’ll be able to do double-checks on this

Enjoyed my stay here if you are looking at a central location this is it. It's right in the center so convenient. Walking distance to everything. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Delicious food from the restaurant and fresh coffee in the morning. Thank everyone at Cafe Aroma Inn
