4-Sterne-Hotels in Kandy

The hotel is hidden away in the mountains outside Kandy, a great spot to relax and unwind. It is about 45 minutes out of central Kandy and 20 minutes to the botanical gardens  but the hotel will helpfully arrange transport if you decide to head into town. The view from the hotel is one of the best I have ever seen and sitting, relaxing in the beautiful grounds was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel food is also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious curries available. All of the staff are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time They also have a very affectionate dog, which was a huge win!

Misty Hills Villa Kadugannawa boasts the most incredible view over local mountains, best enjoyed if you are taking a cooling dip in the (small, but perfectly positioned) infinity pool! My husband and I were very well looked after during our short stay. The hotel staff served lovely breakfasts, organised two dinners for us and booked a tuk tuk for a day trip to Kandy. They also surprised me with a beautiful little cake on my birthday and even sang to me! The only small points I would make is that the dinners are not actually cooked on site - and that the staff did not offer to clean or make up our bedroom during our 3 night stay. Nevertheless, much kindness and warmth was demonstrated towards us and we loved the rural position of the property.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem hohen Berg. Es ist ein bisschen riskant, wenn die Straße nicht einfach zu gehen ist. Es ist sehr begeistert, den Laden zu betreten, heiße Handtücher, Tee, aufmerksam, aber der erste Raum ist nicht übersichtlich, es ist gerade rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten, es ist sehr laut, hat Angst, die Kinder zu bringen Der Rest war betroffen. Zuerst sagte der Manager an der Rezeption, dass es nur ein Zimmer gibt. Auf meinen Wunsch wurde ein anderes Zimmer ersetzt. Es wurde nicht gereinigt, als ich eintrat, und ich wartete weitere 20 Minuten. Die Leute kommen zum Debuggen, aber wenn es nicht funktioniert, wird jemand anderes mit dem Debuggen beauftragt. Kurz gesagt, die Umwelt ist großartig! Die Aussicht ist ausgezeichnet, aber es braucht Zeit, um auf der Straße zu verbringen, kostengünstig und der Preis ist hoch

Melheim Kandy Villas ist ein charmantes Bergseiten-Retriege, das Komfort, Natur und warme Gastfreundschaft schön vermischt. Mitten in der lussgrünen Erde mit schwebenden Blicken auf die Kandy-Hügel bietet es eine friedliche Flucht aus der Stadt, während es immer noch in einem vernünftigen Fahrt zu Schlüsselattraktionen ist. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, unspottbar und sorgfältig gestaltet, mit großen Fenstern oder Balkonen, die Sie in der ruhigen Umgebung ertrinken lassen. Die Betten sind komfortabel und die allgemeine Umgebung fühlt sich zu Hause noch raffiniert. Während das Eigentum im Allgemeinen gut gepflegt ist, könnten einige kleinere Wartungsbewegungen es noch besser machen. Eines der Highlights ist der Service die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich freundlich, aufmerksam und eifersüchtig, um Ihren Aufenthalt zu erinnern. Das Frühstück ist warm und süß, oft mit frischen lokalen Produkten, und das Essen auf der Terrasse mit Blick ist eine Behandlung in sich

Оставались на одну ночь, приехали в 8 примерно, до 9 работают стойка регистрации, помогли отнести все сумки, с виду кажется отель новым, ещё где-то красят, где-то что-то доделывают , бассейн был совершенно пустой, мы купались одни и было ощущение, что это вся наша вилла, заказали рис с овощами, был вкусный и огромная порция, проживанием остались довольны, был кондиционер, вентилятор, чай, кофе, целый кулер воды, шампунь

Groß, der wusste, dass es ohne Grund abgeschafft wurde, bevor er sich bestellt hatte, wirklich unpraktisch, dann war es sehr gut, dass ich dieses Haus wechseln musste, das Haus ist auch in der Umgebung gut, aber die Lage ist zu entlegen, es gibt keine Umgebung, Kandy war Bergstadt, es ist nicht bequem zu essen, Die Gesamtlandschaft auf dem Berggipfel ist nicht so, wie ich vorher gebucht habe, und es kann nicht gesehen werden, weil die Ausfahrt zum Essen durch die Straße ist und die große Lage ist hervorragend. Die Zimmeranlagen sind alt und die Dachflächen sind gehäutet, der Service ist nicht gut, der Preis ist hoch, der Preis ist nicht hoch. Das Frühstück ist auch bestellt.

The location is over the hill, it’s a little difficult to get a tuk tuk or car that is willingly to go up to the hotel from city Center, especially at night. From hotel to city Center is about 8 mins of tuk tuk ride. Otherwise the service is great, staff are really friendly, nice hilly view from the balcony, western style breakfast platter with pastries.

The best location close to the temple and to the show. The staff was very nice and help us with everything. The room is beautiful that let us feel the vibe of Sri Lanka. Recommend.

Great location, right by the lake and walking distance to the tooth relic temple. I did have a monkey rob me of my $100 bill and everything with a wrapper in my luggage. So make sure to keep all your doors and windows closed when you leave for the day. The WiFi was not strong on the top level so ask for a room on the lower floors. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Receptionist guy talks a lot!! Especially after a long day of traveling when you just want to check in and be quiet for a bit or relieve yourself in the bathroom. Take that into consideration. They didn’t clean the corridor and stairs till my last day. There were towels, bedsheets and just untidy path to my room. My rooms shower didn’t work so I had to shower across the hall in another room.Receptionist bathroom should always have to issue. The food is good!! The guys try!! The view since it’s uphill is the best!! Better than Kandy view…Close to temple !!
