We booked a three night stay at this hotel between 10-13 August. When we arrived the room was in a filthy state as you can see in the pictures. The bathroom and the walls were full of mould and the room had an unbearable smell and in complete disregard of any hygienic protocols. We were forced to find alternative accommodation and our holidays at Kalamata were totally ruined. The staff at reception were very rude and when asked to speak to the manager the receptionist refused as ‘the hotel is a LTD company and we don’t have the right as consumers to speak to management’ (!). The hotel denied the state of the room and refused to give us a refund as ‘the room was locked on our booking and they could not rent it to someone else’. However, when we returned on the 12th and asked to see the room again, we were denied entry as the room was already rented to someone else. In other words, the hotel got their money twice and still refused to give a refund. Would you stay in this room? Avoid at all costs.
