we certainly intend to use this place again when we are in this area and it is available. a nice place to relax! requests are attended imediately, rooms are spacoius, personnel is very polite and rooms and premises are clean

A quick business trip to Hluhluwe and this was the perfect place to stay. Great value for money. Super friendly staff. Well-appointed, modern, clean rooms with comfortable beds. There is a lovely pool and braai area too.

The host was very professional overall, gave us lots of information on places to eat out and visit. We stayed in a large family unit. I was very comfortable and cosy. The aircon worked well in the summer KZN heat. Linen was changed every day, I would return anytime for another stay.

Nice place good people friendly as well I will come back again..I will love to add my opinion try to let people check in early especially those that come from far because its difficult if they arrive late

Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful garden, friendly host and comfortable beds. Charming patio with view of pool. The room was better than expected and quite clean and spacious. Would’ve liked clean towels daily however it rained throughout our stay. On one night there was a noise issue. The doggies that made an appearance once in awhile are so cute!

Booked and paid several days in advance for a one night stay. Took a beautiful drive through hluhluwe game reserve with our family only to arrive at this lodge and be told that they got our booking wrong. With my five year old son now distraught we had to drive 2 and a half hours back home at night. Shocking.

What I notice the owner he so kindly..he was organized the small kitchen since we did know it not a self catering..he was making sure we get everything we want ..and the rooms was impressing..we like we are in the hotel

My “future son-in-law” and I decided to stop-over in Hluhluwe at The Wilds Guesthouse on our way to Sodwana. We booked a luxury family room which had two comfortable double beds and a single bed. The overhead fan was a bit wobbly and noisy when we arrived, but this was attended to by management. The room was spacious and clean, and the air-con and small bar fridge was convenient. The coffee and tea facilities unfortunately only included cremora and not fresh milk. The en-suite bathroom was modern with a large walk-in shower. There is also an uncover patio with nice views of the garden which is neat and well maintained. The property is in a pleasant quiet area, and there is plenty of safe secure parking as the property is fenced with an electric security gate. Before we arrived, we also booked a game drive with The Wilds Guesthouse for Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park at a cost of R600. When we were picked up early in the morning for our game drive, we discovered that the game drive was organized by ANEW Lodge Hluhluwe which is near to The Wilds Guesthouse, and that if we had booked directly with ANEW Lodge Hluhluwe, the cost would have been only R450. We did mention this to the Manager who informed us that The Wilds Guesthouse charges an administrative fee for booking game drives. Nevertheless, the game drive was extremely enjoyable, and we saw plenty of animals including elephant, rhino, buffalo, antelope, and baboons. Overall, it was a pleasant 1-night stop-over for us, but if we do stop-over in Hluhluwe again and go on a game drive, we will definitely book the game drive directly with ANEW Lodge Hluhluwe

The stay was as promised online and during WhatsApp communication, service and staff especially Leandra was exceptional in service delivery. I strongly recommend this property and I will certainly stay again with them
