Been down a few times to Hastings and trying to find any decent hotel is difficult - it's just not a place most people want to go to on February - and I've been to a couple of shockers. So, at £ 100 for two nights I was expecting something to fail, but it didn't. OK, reception was a little perfunctory ”here's a key, off you go”, so no form to fill in, but had to ask for WiFi code. Paid a tenner extra for sea view, thus trading noise of traffic (wasn't that loud) for a riviera vista (sort of). TV, tea and coffee and most importantly, a half decent shower with two knobs, one for water, one for heat (why are others so complicated). Soap dispensers there. Unfortunately the bar was being refurbed.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in Alexander. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Schönes Meerblick. Dienst war gut.Es war heiße Woche, als wir besucht, und es gibt keine AC im Zimmer , nur ein wenig Fan, und wir mussten Fenster breit geöffnet, die etwas laut gemacht in der Nacht. Frühstück war nicht am Punkt, also nicht das Frühstück, wenn Sie besuchen planen. In der Nähe von so vielen anderen Geschäften, Märkte und Strand ist auf Spazierfahrt. Es war alle zusammen Nussreise.

This hotel is run by a lovely couple/family who have been established here for 8 years. Made me very welcome from the outset and shared a pint or two at the local pub with the proprietor at the Tower pub thankfully only 100 foot away!!! They do cream teas that are open to the public as well and the Carrott cake is to die for.... After first sampling the Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle as well. Breakfast was amazing and with good ingredients sourced. Room was lovely with lovely maintained gardens.... There was a bonfire in the garden as it was autumn which I so desperately wanted to light and re kindle nostalgic childhood memories.... Of bonfire night. Thanks goes to my accommodating friendly hosts and I would without question definitely stay here again if in this area. A rare gem in a commercially driven world.

Beautiful hotel with spacious modern rooms, and huge grounds to explore, as well as a great spa and pool next door. Bannatyne's is a truly lovely resort in a great location, with amazing staff.

Die Landschaft der Meeresräume ist sehr gut, es gibt ein kleines Gebäude. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr hoch, gehen Sie raus ist am Meer, das nahe gelegene Restaurant ist gut! Der Freund sagte, dass es zum ersten Mal in Großbritannien so billig ist, in so einem großen Zimmer zu leben. Das Zimmer ist alt, aber ehrlich gesagt, alle britischen Gebäude sind hundert Jahre alt.

Very comfortable bedroom. Well dressed comfy bed. Really good shower pressure, nice fluffy towels. Quiet within the hotel, some outside noise but to be expected for the location at the seaside. Easy parking for us at the weekend. Very nice included breakfast. Delicious full English but I think other stuff is available. Lovely owner and staff. Dining room a treat. Very hard to fault this place. One small gripe seeing as nowhere can ever be 100%, the room was far too warm for us. For others maybe a bonus point. Overall if ever we are back in Hastings I'd like to stay here again. Lovely Italian restaurant within 50 yards and lots of antique/ vintage shops nearby. 20 yards from the promenade.
