We have been on a road trip from Marrakech to see the dunes. This has been the best hotel we stayed in on our roadtrip. The staff are so genuinely pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I am a vegan with additional diet restrictions due to my health, and I was catered for with freshly cooked healthy meals. A huge shout out to Moha, the chef, who prepared our meals fresh. His passion comes out in the food. He is such a pleasant fun guy. I recommend giving your order in good time as everything is prepared fresh. The receptionist, Hassan, really made us feel right at home. I spent a night at a tented camp (15min drive only), and unfortunately, had a rough night. The next day, I was slightly unwell, and I returned back to the hotel, because I knew I will be comfortable. Hassan was most kind in arranging a room, so welcoming and accommodating to the fact that I was not well. Just what one needs when you are unwell and on holiday. The location of this hotel allows you to arrange a trip into the dunes (15min drive), the hotel will also help arrange camel rides etc...you can also visit the Gnaoua (traditional music) and nomad families all about 10min by car (4x4 car is needed) Speak to Hassan or any staff, and they can help with this. You can go to the dunes and experience sunset / sunrise and come back to this wonderfully comfortable hotel for breakfast or dinner. Whilst the rooms have all the modern necessities, such as perfect working AC, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms / nice shower, the rooms and hotel have a brilliant feel of the culture. It's a new hotel who are doing everything right. I cannot recommend this place any higher.

Am Rande der Wüste waren wir im Rahmen einer Rundreise in diesem schönen Hotel untergebracht. In den 70ern erbaut und vor einigen Jahren umfassend renoviert, ist dies ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Alle Bereiche sind sehr großzügig gestaltet und sehr sauber. Mein Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf die Wüste war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Personal an Rezeption, der tollen Bar und im Restaurant war sehr nett. Abendbuffet und Frühstück sehr umfangreich und lecker. Leider ist es im Speisesaal sehr laut, wenn viele Gäste essen. In Summe eine Wohlfühloase und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Trips in die Wüste.

Recently, our family had an amazing trip to Merzouga, exploring the Sahara Desert with three kids and friends. Choosing this Riad over traditional tents was a wise decision. The spacious, clean rooms, well-organized activities like camel riding, and delicious meals made our stay exceptional. The manager's attention to detail, like preparing a special meal for our kids, left a lasting impression. We're planning a return, and our friends are considering a week-long stay this spring. Highly recommend this Riad for an unforgettable Sahara Desert retreat!

Perfect location to enjoy the amazing desert views! The view from the pool is truly breathtaking. We spent early morning to night outside by the pool or in the 2nd floor balcony by our room just admiring the view. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they made our stay so great. There is only one set dinner option every night and it is served either inside or outside and everyone is eating at once. The portions are huge and everything we ate for our whole trip was delicious. For lunch you can order easy food, like sandwiches, fries & fruit. You can walk out into the dunes directly from the hotel and can also book a sunset camel ride right at the front desk. Please remember that you are in nature in the desert so there are going to be bugs and sand is going to be blowing and get everywhere, that is just part of the experience! I definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights just to spend it at the hotel, if you are going out and doing tours I would stay longer. This is truly a once in a lifetime place to stay, you will not regret it!

Si hay algo que puedo decir sobre el establecimiento es que Ali es el mejor anfitrión que tuvimos en Marruecos, que es bastante porque los marroquíes son muy acogedores. Reservamos un paseo en camello para pasar la noche en un campamento bivouac y Ali caminó para encontr**** con nosotros allí para una noche de observación de estrellas. La cena fue muy buena y la habitación muy bonita. Fuimos allí a finales de julio y principios de agosto, así que hacía mucho, mucho calor. Es cierto que el aire acondicionado no es muy potente pero puedes pasar una noche bastante cómoda. Gracias Ali por una muy buena estadía en La Vallée des Dunes. If there is one thing I can say about the establishment it is that Ali is the best host we had in Morocco, which is quite a lot because Moroccans are very welcoming. We booked a camel ride to spend the night at a bivouac camp and Ali walked over to meet us there for a night of stargazing. The dinner was very good and the room very nice. We went there at the end of July and beginning of August, so it was very, very hot. Certainly, the air conditioning is not very powerful but you can have a fairly comfortable night. Thank you Ali for a very good stay at La Vallée des Dunes. S'il y a quelque chose que je peux dire sur l'hébergement, c'est qu'Ali est le meilleur hôte que nous avons eu au Maroc, ce qui en dit long car les marocains sont des gens très accueillants. Nous avons réservé une promenade à dos de dromadaire pour passer la nuit dans un camp de bivouac et Ali a marché pour nous rencontrer là-bas pour une nuit d'observation des étoiles. Le dîner était vraiment bon et la chambre vraiment agréable. Nous y sommes allés fin juillet et début août donc il faisait très très chaud. Certes, la climatisation n'est pas très puissante mais on peut passer une nuit assez confortable. Merci Ali pour un très bon séjour à La Vallée des Dunes
