I booked a cabin in February specifically requesting to be with our friends who had caravans and asked if we could have an outside fire. The owners could not be more accommodating. they were great. Since then new owners took over and we were very disappointed in our studio cabin, as I always book 2 bedrooms. We were away from our friends and they were put where they could not have a fire. When i asked for a different unit there was no flexibility. I wont be back, along with my friends who were not happy as well. Raelene G

Spent a night in one of the cedar cabins . Very clean and comfortable. The new managers, Pam and Shane have made a big difference. They are so friendly, acknowledging everyone they meet around the park. Pam was showing us the hall late afternoon when a guest asked if they were showing the footy there. Pam organised it at short notice all with a smile. It was obvious to us that a good guest experience is important to Pam and Shane. The pool area is well maintained and tidy. The views are great and the park is very family friendly. Great spot for a family holiday.

Very disappointed in the cabin we booked for two nights. Very old and dated, scruffy paint etc. the bed was lumpy and the carpet smelly. We only stayed one night and booked a chslet for $20 more a night and couldn’t be more different. Won’t be staying in an nmra cabin again unfortunately 🙁

Highly recommend, place is very new and well fitted out. Nice and clean and comfortable beds. It is close to the freeway which is convenient but also a bit noisy at night but it didn’t really bother us.

We had a powered caravan on-suite site Very clean park & well maintained Staff very helpful & friendly Park has Lots of Kangaroos & we saw two deer one night Walking distance to town Great views of the Grampians Good value for money, NRMA/RAA discount

On a recent visit Oct2023 we booked into NRMA Halls Gap mid week and asked for a Powered Site and was told that the price varies every day of the week. We stayed on Wednesday and Thursday and we were charged two different rates as Thursday was classed in the weekend rate. We were allotted site 135 the nearest amenities were just across a grassed area and the toilet and shower were all in one - the shower in all had not been cleaned for some time as around the base of the shower was black and included green mould. We used the larger amenity block but the the hot water for the showers was only luke warm, but in the Laundry the hot water was really hot. Our site had long grass and was untidy to say the least. We have stayed here before NRMA tookover and it was a really nice park. It now appears NRMA is not interested in the Park except to overcharge in off peak times. We will not be staying here again.

Great place to stay. Only issue was the electric stovetop which didn't heat up enough to cook properly, but there was a plug in electric pan that provided a good alternative.
