Mathraki Resort

I cannot recommend this little resort more highly. It is in a great location for exploring the island using the local bus service, with a beautifully clean pool & lovely accommodation (we had a two bedroom apar**ent). The owners could not have been more kind and welcoming. To Nikos, George, Maria & Dimitri - thank you so much for our stay, we loved being at your beautiful place!

We stayed at "the Cellar" with our family with 3 kids. The kids loved the place, and we appreciated a lot the family a**osphere. The appar**ent was decorated with taste and quality material. Location is also very good. The owners, a family also, provided us good support from start to end.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and it was just perfect. The rooms are in the style of a family hotel apar**ent at the highest level. Very suitable for a family, large rooms. we got new big room so it was just perfect for us . Definitely a place worth being in and coming back to again and again

A fantastic place; great price, awesome pool and fantastic staff. Also good location, just a bus ride away from Corfu town. Nice and quiet and easy to find. Great food on site and good wifi. Would be happy to come back!

Lovely stay at this resort. The family are very welcoming and the setting is beautiful. Slight issues for anyone with mobility problems as the grounds are tiered and the resort is on a hill but the beautiful surroundings and warm welcome more than compensated for this.

Pleasant stay at Mathraki Resort. It was a party with fahter George and son Dimitri. Friendly and hospitable. Price level is the same as in the Netherlands. If it becomes more expensive next year, it is possible that the owners will price themselves out of the market.

We have been coming to stay at the Mathraki resort over a number of years now . George , Maria , Niko & Dimitri are always so welcoming and to hand whenever we had a question or a glass of wine 😂 The food is always excellent and pool spotless ! We had a one bedroom apar**ent with lounge and kitchen area which was very comfortable . The bathroom had a bath , a rare treat in Corfu but would be great if travelling with little ones . A 5 minute walk from Govia beach and all the shops , bars & restaurants. A Gem of a place and will always return 😊

Nice, well-kept hotel. Pool for both big and small. responsive staff.The room was spacious enough, neat interior. There was an air conditioner in every room. Shop, beach, car rental, pharmacy and doctor nearby. Boat trips are available on the nearby beach to see the beaches of Corfu.

Best resort we have stayed in for as long as we can remember!! Our family stayed at Mathraki resort for 10 nights and it was not long enough. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apar**ent with our 2 teenage sons and it was just the right size considering we didn’t really spend much time in there other than sleeping - it was very clean and well equipped with everything you need (including hood WiFi and Netflix which delighted the teenagers). The pool area was perfect with no fighting over beds and big enough for fun to be had by all. The gardens were stunning and our sons even enjoyed the play area on occasions. We loved the location as it was not in the middle of the busy centre with all the bars and restaurants, but was close enough to walk in most evenings in less than 5 mins. Saving the best until last . . The Taverna - Wow. The best food we ate all holiday was at the Taverna within the resort. George and Maria really know what they are doing in the kitchen. We ate out in town a few nights and the food was always good but we always ended up coming back to the Taverna as we knew we would never be disappointed - try everything but definitely try the family specials, they are delicious. Also the Dry White Wine - we ended up bringing a bottle home with us so we could continue our mid afternoon tradition for 1 more day. We will certainly be back to see George and his lovely family.
