Very convenient location. Close to Ikea & Sainsbury’s Close to city!!! Recommend to this place

Not the best experience. Room wasn't ready for check in and waited 2 hours to get it. Family room, so maybe should have been overseen better as there was young children. Regardless off anything checking 3pm jot 5pm. Staff weren't to bothered either.

I stay in PI hotels at least 4 times a year - I have a Business Account. Although basic, they have always been acceptable, with a high standard of cleanliness. However, having stayed in PIs at ExCel, NEC and Braehead this year, these standards appear to be slipping - not least because PI appears to have cut the number of staff in each hotel drastically. My recent trip to Braehead was the worst so far. The receptionist didnt speak any English and didnt understand any either. Eventually she fetched the duty manager who informed me that i had booked 2 rooms under each of the 3 names (why would I??). She insisted that we would be charged for the additional 3 rooms as we hadnt cancelled them before 1pm - I had paperwork proving that we had 1 room for each of 3 names booked and anyway how could we cancel reservations we didnt know existed and had somehow been created by the PI reservation system? I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to phone customer services. I called the number given, was on hold over 30 mins and then told this was Reservations not Customer Services and I would have to call another number. At this point the Duty Manager arrived at my room and said, as a gesture of goodwill, they would not charge us for the additional rooms.... One colleague had been put in a first floor room which was dirty, full of cobwebs and with badly damaged furniture. The duty manager refused to change his room as the hotel was apparently full (what happened to the three additional rooms we had allegedly booked?). she also refused to refund the money paid for this room. The restaurant had the usual overpriced non-veggie-friendly menu and several dishes were not available, including 1 of the only 2 veggie items. Why were dishes not available at 7.30pm - its not as if the restaurant was busy! At breakfast, the bowls of cereals were almost empty and not replenished. At the hot table, dishes were also nearly empty and not replenished. I asked for veggie sausage, which were not on the hot table, and was told by the surly chef there would be a wait of 10 mins. When they finally appeared, they were inedible as they were barely cooked and raw inside. The three same young women appeared to deal with reception, taking food orders, delivering food and serving drinks at the bar; and were there at breakfast too. The hotel doesnt have Premier Plus rooms; the rooms were shabby and grubby.

Perfect location for our trip, friendly staff and very helpful, comfy bed and good food. Will definitely book here for my next trip to Glasgow!!

Hotel would have been ok for our needs however there was no working air conditioning. This made the room unbearably hot overnight with a family 4 squashed in. They said it is stated on the website when booking but we clearly missed it. Might be ok during winter months but it was beautiful hot weather when we stayed and it was far too hot in the room.

Room VERY hot. No air con in room. Fan provided just blows hot air around. On flip side staff very good. Breakfast ok. Presumably in winter room would be freezing. Premier Inn generally consistent but having no temperature control isn’t acceptable.

No A/C at all in the whole building. Was offered a fan which which was noisy and didn't allow for a good night's sleep.

Stayed here for one night when attending Take That. Comfortable clean room. Bed great. Super selection for breakfast whether you want cooked or just continental. Good selection of coffee.The staff were very friendly. Easy check in. Definitely recommend. Uber to hydro £15.00 so perfect

Lovely comfortable stay welcomed Staff were amazing where accommodating, Breakfast was beautiful again staff were so helpful and welcoming. Available if required. Busy little restaurant, kitchen staff were also amazing very accommodating and efficient.
