Love the place... lovely clean rooms at a decent price.. great for a drink downstairs too, Nicky is a great host and does an amazing job to always make you feel welcome! It has a pool table which is free in the week and stays open late! Can’t recommend enough!

Stayed here as we were out for my friends birthday. Check in was smooth the lady I think called Nicky was so nice and even carried my suitcase up the stairs she explained everything to us couldn’t have been nicer. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable and also plenty of tea/coffee. Side entrance was nice as two females who had separated there was no need to walk through the pub on our own. Couldn’t hear any noise from the pub but was left earplugs in case. We have booked to stay again for New Year’s Eve can’t wait ☺️

Stayed two nights, room was clean and well provisioned - plenty of milk unlike the big chain hotels. It has it's own entrance so you don't have to walk through the pub, and can come and go as you please. Shared microwave and fridge if you fancy making yourself some food. Didn't hear much noise from the bar as we were at the far end, but they even give you some earplugs just in case. Staff were friendly and helpful, and price was really good. Very happy, would certainly consider staying again if in the area.

Excellent stay, reviewed before we landed and they were not good. We thought they were rubbish as we found nothing wrong with the place. Lovely pub, room and very friendly staff & customers in the pub. We heard no noise at all even though it was a busy Saturday night with music going on. Would definitely recommend 💯

Me & a work colleague stayed for 3 nights over a weekend while working night shift at a local power station. It’s a pub so if you want silence it’s not for you. The rooms were basic but clean, there’s a main bathroom on the landing & a fridge and microwave for guests to use. All the staff were very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Probably more suited to contractors working in the area. I would gladly stay here again. Lovely pint of John Smith’s in the bar as well!!
