Riad Ahlam

Beautiful Riad in a great location. The room and bathroom were sized well. The staff was exceptionally attentive, welcoming and kind. The room was a little dark and the shower didn't have great water pressure but overall we were very happy with this beautiful riad.

Beautiful riad with easy access from the street. It was very spacious.....very large room was nicely decorated. The water pressure was low. The breakfast was wonderful. They had prompt laundry service. We would recommend this hotel for a lovely stay in Fes.

The place was absolutely stunning and had us completely mesmerized! Its stunning location It was just a short distance from the main street. We only got to spend two nights here and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was so helpful, breakfast was delicious!!

Stayed here in Dec 2023 with family. The riad can be found down a narrow alleyway, not far from the drop off point. Walking in, I was surprised by the large and gorgeous courtyard…mind blowing. The hospitality started with the lovely mint tea and didn’t stop till we left. Our room was a large suite on the 2nd floor…only issue was walking 2 more flights of stairs after marching around the hilly Medina all day. 🤣 The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. The lights were a bit dim but that was an issue across Morocco. There were a ton of power points which I thoroughly appreciated. In that sense, the old Moroccan style was all around, but updated with all the modern conveniences. We got laundry done and it was 👍🏽. The ladies running the kitchen do a top notch job and the breakfast spread is superb…everything freshly made as you sit down to eat. Kassem was awesome and literally the best guy…always smiling. Location is about 2-3 min from one of the main streets leading to the Blue Gate, and takes you to the centre of the Medina. Highly recommend staying here.

This Riad in Fes was very conveniently located to the Medina. We could easily walk there from Riad Ahlam. Our first room on the first night was quite small, but very comfortable and well appointed. The Riad was fully booked, and the Manager apologized for the small room, but said he was going to move us to a bigger room for our second night...which he did. OMG...the second room was spectacular! It was much more spacious than the first room, and also very comfortable and well appointed. It was VERY MOROCCAN for sure. The complimentary breakfast that was served was small, but filling and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if we return to Fes at a later date.

Very nice riad in a good location. Close to transportation drop off and to walk in Medina. Nicely appointed rooms. We had a very spacious triple rooms and the rooftop was a nice retreat to relax with many seating options. Breakfast in the courtyard setting was a delight. Stayed 2 nights and breakfast was the same both days. We had good wifi reception, A/C and TV in room. The service of the owners and the staff make this riad recieve the excellent review. They were very pleasant and helpful for any of our needs.

We stayed at Riad Ahlam for two nights in Oct. during our two week tour or Morocco. Upon arrival, Ksam couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming! The riad is lovely and well appointed--we had a room on the second floor looking over the central palazzo area. The room was a very good size, decorated nicely in traditional fabrics, pillows etc. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very large. Everything was immaculately clean. The beautiful roof deck was a bonus--we had fabulous views of Fes from up there. We had our driver stop at the Carrefour supermarket where we bought some wine & we enjoyed a few glasses on the rooftop! The riad sits right off the Medina -- which to be honest is intimidating to attempt on one's own (once you get in, it's extremely hard to navigate your way out). As a result, we decided to have our dinners at the riad, which worked out terrifically. The food at the riad was outstanding--both dinners and breakfasts were wonderful! Ksam was incredibly accommodating--one afternoon we decided we wanted a Hammam--as I was having trouble calling on my phone, I went down to Ksam for help & he called & made appointments for myself and my husband at Hammam Mernissi (which was excellent!). The fellow from the Hammam came to the riad to collect us and then he walked us back afterward--incredibly kind! The entire staff at this riad were wonderful and friendly & most helpful! It was a brilliant experience & I highly recommend this wonderful place if you go to Fes!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and the rooms were great. A few minute walk to the shops and restaurants. I would for sure recommend this place. The rooftop sitting area was good too. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with warm and friendly hosts who can’t help you enough. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and breakfast is local and lovely . It is close to the Blue gate which is surrounded by great restaurants.
