Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Das丽怡 Hotel ist immer meine erste Wahl auf Reisen, und ich war froh, dass es auch hier in Dali eines gab. Dieses Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen und angenehmen Villengegend, die Zimmer sind sauber und die Einrichtungen sind brandneu. Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln, und der Empfangsservice war hervorragend. Beim Check-out wollte ich eigentlich gar nicht gehen. Sollte ich wieder einmal nach Dali kommen, werde ich definitiv wieder das麗怡 wählen.

Dieses Gästehaus in der Nähe der Altstadt von Dali besticht durch seine erstklassige Lage und seine beeindruckende Fassade. Das Café im Erdgeschoss ist sehr gemütlich, und die Zimmer selbst sind einfach atemberaubend. Die Kinder waren begeistert! Alles im Zimmer wirkte noch beeindruckender und schöner als auf den Bildern. Es gab einen Whirlpool, ein Dachfenster, Zelte … so kreativ! Ich frage mich, welcher Designer das entworfen hat! Das Zimmer war blitzsauber. Nach dem Einchecken wollten wir am liebsten nur noch im Zimmer bleiben, im Whirlpool entspannen, auf dem großen Bildschirm fernsehen und die Unterhaltung mit den Xiaodu-Smart-Geräten genießen. Die Nächte waren außergewöhnlich ruhig, die Betten bequem, und wir haben die ganze Nacht wunderbar geschlafen! Wir kamen genau rechtzeitig zum üppigen Frühstücksbuffet an, das eine große Auswahl an chinesischen und westlichen Gerichten bot, darunter lokale Spezialitäten wie Reisnudeln mit Freilandhühnchen und Reisvermicelli. Die ganze Familie hat es sehr genossen und war rundum zufrieden! Sauberkeit und Service waren tadellos, erstklassig! Was uns besonders berührt hat, war, dass uns die Rezeptionistin bei unserer Ankunft sofort kostenlos ein Zustellbett zur Verfügung stellte, da wir die Pension nicht im Voraus darüber informiert hatten, dass wir zu viert reisen. Der herzliche und großzügige Besitzer sorgte außerdem dafür, dass wir alle vier ein köstliches Frühstück genießen konnten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern und Paare im Urlaub!

Hotel staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect as it is right next to where all the beauty unfolds. Room was clean with proper amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel is right by the pier which means you will have to carry your luggage a ways but the team is more than willing to help. Will definitely book again in the near future.

Wir müssen ganz klar die atemberaubende Aussicht erwähnen, besonders am Morgen, wenn Sie erst aufwachen und sich draußen ansehen. Das ganze Haus ist spotlos, schafft ein ruhiges und entspannendes Gefühl, wenn Sie durch die Tür gehen. Sie bieten auch eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Werkzeugen, die Sie brauchen, wenn Sie sich wie Kochen fühlen. Die Nachbarschaft selbst ist unglaublich unverstellbar, mit Bildwerten Ecken überall, wo Sie fahren. Auf der oberen Seite war der Gastgeber sehr hilfreich, beantwortete alle unsere Fragen schnell und machte alles reibungslos und einfach. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort sehr jedem, der Dali besucht.

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

Ein Hotel auf der Kim-Insel, die Hoteleinrichtungen sind sehr gut, der Service ist auch sehr gut. Der Ladenführer hat Kontakt aufgenommen, nach dem Buchen des Zimmers, nach dem Abladen des Schiffes, das Hotelpersonal wird den gesamten Transport übernommen, helfen Sie mit dem Gepäck, nehmen Sie sich einen Bar-Kaffee im Hotel, sitzen Sie am Meer des Weichengs und trinken Sie einen Kaffee sehr gerne entspannen, Die Landschaft der Nacht ist sehr schön und sehr bequem.

Was für ein Juwel von einem Gasthaus, das ich zufällig in Dali entdeckt habe! Nach meinem Aufenthalt möchte ich es am liebsten jedem empfehlen! Schon beim Betreten des Hofes war ich begeistert. Bougainvillea rankt über den Eingang, und der chinesische Hof mit seinen weißen Wänden und grauen Ziegeln ist sauber und elegant – perfekt für Fotos. Der Hof ist voller Blumen und Pflanzen, die alle sehr gepflegt sind, und die Luft duftet leicht nach Blumen. Bei Regen unter dem Dachvorsprung zu sitzen und dem Regen zu lauschen, ist genau das, was ich mir unter dem entspannten Leben in Dali vorstelle. Der Besitzer und der Service sind auch super aufmerksam. Vor dem Check-in erhält man eine Wegbeschreibung, und bei Fragen sind sie sofort zur Stelle. Es gab überhaupt keine kommerzielle Distanz. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, komplett ausgestattet und die Liebe zum Detail war überall spürbar, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machte. Das Gesamterlebnis war perfekt. Ein Aufenthalt hier in Dali lohnt sich wirklich, und beim nächsten Mal werde ich definitiv wieder dieses Gasthaus wählen!

Truly beyond my expectations This hotel genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. The service was not just good the staff went above and beyond in ways that I honestly did not expect, even from a five-star hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive and meticulous. You can really feel that they care about the little details and the overall guest experience. One thing that really amazed me was the cleanliness and attention to detail in the room. The shower area was spotless every single time we returned to the hotel. Even when there were water marks and spots on the shower taps and head before we left the room, we would come back to find everything sparkling clean again. It was such a small detail, but it showed just how much effort the housekeeping team puts into maintaining the room. Honestly, this is the kind of attention to detail that you don’t even always expect from a five-star hotel. What impressed me even more was how thoughtfully they considered the needs of travellers. Knowing that guests would likely spend the entire day walking and exploring Dali, the hotel thoughtfully prepared soaking basins for guests to soak their legs after a long day. After hours of walking, coming back to the hotel and having this little comfort prepared for us was such a lovely touch. It showed that they weren’t simply providing a room, they were thinking about the entire experience of their guests. The food and drinks were another pleasant surprise. Breakfast had a wonderful variety, including their homemade yoghurt and soy milk, which were both delicious. During lunchtime, they also provided coffee and tea such a thoughtful touch when you’re out exploring for the day. And dinner was another highlight. Their homemade rose vinegar and wine were such unexpected and memorable touches. Everything felt carefully prepared and had a sense of warmth and authenticity that you don’t often find in hotels. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail throughout the entire stay. From the spotless room, thoughtful amenities and food, to the genuinely warm service, you could tell that the team truly cares about their guests. After travelling and staying in different hotels, I can honestly say this stay left a very strong impression on me. The combination of exceptional service, meticulous cleanliness, thoughtful details, wonderful food and genuinely friendly staff made this hotel stand out far beyond what I expected. If I ever return to Dali, I wouldn’t even need to think twice about where to stay. This would be my first choice, without hesitation. You truly went above and beyond. ❤️ 一次真正超出期待的入住体验 这次在大理入住这家酒店，真的让我非常惊喜。 酒店的服务完全超出了我的预期。每一位工作人员都非常亲切、热情，而且特别细心。最让我感动的是，他们对客人的照顾不是停留在“做好本职工作”，而是真的会去观察和理解客人的需求，把很多细节都提前想到了。 首先必须夸一下酒店的卫生和客房细节。 房间每天都保持得非常干净，尤其是浴室，真的让我印象深刻。前一天离开房间的时候，淋浴头和水龙头上明明还有一些水渍和水印，但我们每次回到酒店，看到的都是已经擦拭得闪闪发亮的淋浴头和水龙头，干净到几乎看不到一点痕迹。 这种程度的细致，说实话，甚至不是每一家五星级酒店都能做到。 另外一个让我觉得特别贴心的地方，是酒店真的有站在旅客的角度去想。 大理旅行每天走路的时间非常长，走一整天下来腿真的会很累。酒店竟然还提前准备了泡脚盆，让客人晚上回来可以泡泡腿、放松一下。这个细节真的让我觉得很暖心。因为这已经不只是“提供一个房间”了，而是在认真考虑客人整个旅程中的体验。 早餐也非常丰富，选择很多，而且还有酒店自制的酸奶和豆浆，都很好喝。中午还有咖啡和茶可以享用，让人觉得非常舒服、贴心。 晚餐同样让我有惊喜，酒店还有自制的玫瑰醋自制葡萄酒。这些小小的细节其实非常难得，也让整个入住体验多了一份温度和自己的特色。 整趟入住下来，我最深的感受就是：这家酒店真的很用心。 从房间的卫生、工作人员的态度，到餐饮、泡脚盆这些看似不起眼的小细节，每一样都能感受到他们是在认真对待客人，而不是单纯把服务流程做完而已。 这次入住让我觉得，酒店真正厉害的地方并不只是硬件，而是愿意站在客人的角度，把很多客人甚至没有开口说出来的需求都提前想到了。 如果以后还有机会再来大理，我完全不会需要考虑住哪一家酒店。 这里一定会是我的第一选择。 非常感谢酒店的每一位工作人员，让我们这次的大理之旅多了一份舒适、放松和温暖。这样的服务，真的值得五星好评！❤️

Overall experience average at Dali Ocean hotel Not up to expectation for the price paid for a should be kids-friendly five star hotel in China. eg: breakfast not much choice, and also not feeling very welcome by front desk staff. When i called them through phone, they just hang up the phone without me finishing the conversation yet, this shock me. Hotel not really kids friendly. Normally what I expect from a 5 star hotel which is into kids theme hotel should be more friendly to kids like giving out some small gifts for little ones, but Dali Ocean Hotel did not have such thing. And also price paid not include visiting the oceanarium. Unexpectedly the dinner we ordered through hotel restaurant and truffle pizza (complimentary in my package) are delicious. Room view Ok, can stay for a night to experience it yourself.
