We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, situated at one of the most scenic spots in the area. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more pleasant. The highlight of the stay was definitely the room. It offered a stunning view of Erhai Lake, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery right from our room. Waking up to the breathtaking lake view each morning was truly unforgettable. Overall, we recommend this hotel.

Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse, Dali | A poetic stay in a century-old Bai courtyard We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse. Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Lovely small hotel, nice design, great location. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and also the milk and soup before bedtime were lovely. With the calm style of the hotel, I would prefer a ”over 14/16” policy, as tge kids staying there could be heard throughout the property, taking away from the calm and peacefulness.

We stayed here from 12–15 May during our honeymoon and decided to do our Yunnan trip entirely on our own. Dali was our first destination after landing in Kunming the night before, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our journey. Since our train arrived early at around 9:00 AM, I contacted the host a few days in advance to ask if an early check-in would be possible. Not only were they happy to accommodate our request, but they also kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Mei, who gave us a tour of the property after check-in. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, from the outside, it feels like staying in a beautiful traditional palace within the old town, while the interior is thoughtfully modernized with every comfort you could need. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floors and the bidet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a rooftop area where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Guests are given several options, and parts of the menu change daily, which kept things interesting. What we looked forward to most every morning was the amazing yogurt served with homemade rose jam, it was honestly the best we've ever had. We mentioned how much we loved it, and at the end of our stay, Mei surprised us with a jar to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture! Every evening, the hotel served a warm dessert, introducing us to flavors that were completely new yet delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea. To make our honeymoon even more special, Mei and her team surprised us with a personalized cake, which was incredibly touching. The location is very convenient, with several Muslim-friendly eateries within a 10-minute walk, as well as convenience stores nearby. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. Out of all the accommodations we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, this was by far the best. Mei went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, constantly sharing recommendations, travel tips, and local insights to help us make the most of our time in Dali. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and newlyweds looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience. InsyaAllah, we will definitely return on our future trips to Dali.

Ich bin zum zweiten Mal in Shuanglang. Ich möchte wirklich nicht noch einmal dorthin. Es ist zu voll! Wenn Sie aus dem Bus steigen, holt Sie jemand mit einem Dreirad Ihr Gepäck ab und Sie müssen ein paar hundert Meter zum Hotel laufen. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Meeres, aber die Landschaft ist nicht so schön wie die von Haixi gegenüber. Das Meer ist nicht so schön. Die umliegenden Hotels der Stars und Sternchen im Internet sehen aus wie Bauernhäuser. Dieses Hotel ist nur zum Fotografieren geeignet. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen. Es ist zu teuer, über 1.600 Yuan. Es wird nur Frühstück angeboten. Sie müssen auf die Straße gehen, um zu essen. Die Umgebung draußen entspricht wirklich nicht dem Standard. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist noch gut und der Service ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe eine Nacht dort verbracht und hatte mehrere Tage lang Durchfall. Ich weiß nicht, ob es daran lag, dass ich dort gefrühstückt oder auf der Straße Saft getrunken habe. Sie können draußen einkaufen. Wenn Sie die Innenstadt mögen, können Sie hier übernachten. Wenn Sie es ruhig mögen, sollten Sie ins gegenüberliegende Haixi gehen. Ich bevorzuge Erhai West, wo Sie Fahrrad fahren können.

Das Hotel war fantastisch! Das Ambiente war elegant und die Zimmer geräumig und hell. Es war sehr ruhig und bot viele gemütliche Rückzugsorte; eine Kanne Tee zuzubereiten, war so entspannend! Unter der Woche ist die Arbeit stressig, daher war dieser Urlaub die perfekte Gelegenheit, mit der Familie zu verreisen, und wir fühlten uns sofort wie neugeboren! Die Luft war außerdem außergewöhnlich frisch! Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren unglaublich hilfsbereit und wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Im Zimmer gab es außerdem viele Snacks und Obst; mein Kind freute sich riesig, beim Baden Drachenfrucht zu essen! Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Nudeln waren köstlich! Wir schlenderten gemütlich umher und nahmen uns Zeit, die Gegend zu erkunden.

The sea view overlooking Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sunrise and enjoying the calm waters right from the room is an unforgettable experience. My parents especially loved relaxing on the balcony with the view, it was so enjoyable that they didn’t even feel like going out to walk around Dali. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, making the stay warm and pleasant.

In Dali habe ich mich wieder für Jixiashan entschieden ~ es gefällt mir wirklich gut. Obwohl es früher nicht mehr schwer war, ein Zimmer zu finden, sind Qualität und Service immer online, was sehr angenehm ist. Vom frühen Morgen bis zur Abenddämmerung ist es hier wunderschön. Von vor vier Jahren bis heute scheint dieser Ort sowohl vertraut als auch unbekannt zu sein. Sie waren sehr rücksichtsvoll und haben die Unterkunftsinformationen aus diesem Jahr beibehalten. Diesmal haben sie eine andere Zimmerkategorie für mich eingerichtet, die sehr warm war. Die Vorräte im Zimmer sind sehr gut. Es gibt Alkoholtupfer im Badezimmer, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich sie direkt mitnehmen möchte. Haha. Das Wichtigste ist, die Feuchtigkeitscreme mitzunehmen, um eine Handcreme herzustellen, sie riecht sehr gut. [Schlagkuss R] Ich muss das Frühstück und den Nachmittagstee, die unten am Berg serviert werden, wirklich loben, sie sind sehr aufmerksam. Der Butler wird Sie im Voraus über die Uhrzeit und die Kategorie informieren und nicht nur die Zahlen erfinden. Am ersten Tag, als Sie eincheckten, war gerade Nachmittagstee. Der Kaffee war sehr gut und die Kuchen waren nicht minderwertig Bilder📷Schade, dass ich mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt war und den Nachmittagstee verpasst habe. Das nächste Mal möchte ich Kaffee und Nachmittagstee trinken. ☕️ Empfohlenes [Sun R] Frühstück, es ist wirklich reichhaltig und lecker, Freunde müssen aufstehen, hahaha. Das Personal, das den Berg hinunterfährt, ist sehr freundlich und geduldig, aber es gibt keinen unnötigen Service oder übertriebene Begeisterung. Hier können Sie Ihre Zeit frei und natürlich verbringen. Abends gibt es Gute-Nacht-Milch und Birnensuppe, da bleibt nichts übrig. [Gute Nacht R] Für Mädchen, die gerne fotografieren, ist es auch sehr aufregend, hier eine Gruppe zu machen, vor allem wegen meiner Arbeit. Ich hoffe, das nächste Mal wiederzukommen und alles zu erleben, zum Beispiel eine Gruppe kleiner Fotos zu machen.

Durchschnittliche Gesamterfahrung im Dali Ocean Hotel Nicht bis zu erwarten, dass der Preis für ein freundliches 5-Sterne-Hotel in China zahlt werden sollte. z.B.: Frühstück nicht viel Wahl, und auch nicht sehr willkommen von Front Desk Mitarbeiter. Wenn ich sie telefoniert, sie einfach aufhängen, ohne mich das Gespräch noch beenden, das schockiert mich. Hotel nicht wirklich Kinder freundlich. Normalerweise, was ich von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet, das in Kinder Theme Hotel ist sollte für Kinder freundlicher sein, wie ein paar kleine Geschenke für kleine, aber das Dali Ocean Hotel hatte nicht so etwas. Und auch der Preis, der bezahlt wird, umfasst nicht das Besuch des Ozeanriums. Unerwartet ist das Abendessen, das wir über Hotelrestaurant und Trüffelpizza bestellt haben (komplimentarisch in meinem Paket) lecker. Zimmerblick Ok, kann für eine Nacht bleiben, um es selbst zu erleben.

This hotel is honestly so photogenic, perfect for Instagram :)) There are flowers everywhere and the whole place has a very calm, chill vibe. Their service was really impressive. They contacted us one day before our stay and even arranged a driver to pick us up from Dali train station, which made everything super easy. The butlers were also very helpful, always quick to respond and attentive to anything we needed. They even gave us a free ride to our next hotel, which was such a nice extra touch. On top of that, they gifted me a cute elephant keychain for good fortune, so thoughtful and memorable. The location is great too, very convenient to get around.
