We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, situated at one of the most scenic spots in the area. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more pleasant. The highlight of the stay was definitely the room. It offered a stunning view of Erhai Lake, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery right from our room. Waking up to the breathtaking lake view each morning was truly unforgettable. Overall, we recommend this hotel.

Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse, Dali | A poetic stay in a century-old Bai courtyard We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse. Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. We traveled as a family of 3 with a 3 year old. The facilities were well thought - with on-site billiard table, swimming pool, even photographers with a selection of attires to choose from. In the room, the teapot and leaves were provided to steep our own tea. At common washrooms, they've even thoughtfully placed little sachets of mouthwash. From our room the view was stunning and we loved watching the sunset from different parts of the hotel. As shown from the pictures below. The BEST OF ALL, the service of the crew was impeccable, with quick responses over wechat, regular afternoon tea and supper offering, customized breakfast orders. They were endearing to our 3 year old, offering to play with him while we were busy. They also checked in with us to give suggestions on where to visit and bringing us to dinner locations on the hotel buggy. The laundry service too was amazing where they dried and completed our clothes washing and drying within a day. We look forward to going back, and in the meantime, keep up the good work!

Ein freundliches Gastgefühl des besten Teams in Anyu, die twinkle Augen von Claire, wenn nicht ihren Namen immer in einem Strahlenlächeln und Everady zu dienen, KK war ebenso hilfreich wie wenige andere weibliche Mitarbeiter. Wir genossen wirklich uns mit den Matronen der House! Nicht nur sie waren hilfreich, sie wussten ihre Wettbewerber gut, als ich ihre Hilfe befragte, um für mich in Daji und Sisan Reservierungen zu machen. Diese wenigen Mädchen vertreten Anyu Botschafter, verdienen Begrüßungen! Anyu ein verstecktes Geschirr, wir werden zurück sein! Volle Punktzahl für das Erhai Seaview Hotel! Der Ausblick direkt vom Fenster aus ist atemberaubend und der Service ist herzlich und aufmerksam. Frühstück, Nachmittagstee und Late-Night-Snacks sind inbegriffen, das Essen ist exquisit und der Aufenthalt war rundum komfortabel und angenehm. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

In Dali habe ich mich wieder für Jixiashan entschieden ~ es gefällt mir wirklich gut. Obwohl es früher nicht mehr schwer war, ein Zimmer zu finden, sind Qualität und Service immer online, was sehr angenehm ist. Vom frühen Morgen bis zur Abenddämmerung ist es hier wunderschön. Von vor vier Jahren bis heute scheint dieser Ort sowohl vertraut als auch unbekannt zu sein. Sie waren sehr rücksichtsvoll und haben die Unterkunftsinformationen aus diesem Jahr beibehalten. Diesmal haben sie eine andere Zimmerkategorie für mich eingerichtet, die sehr warm war. Die Vorräte im Zimmer sind sehr gut. Es gibt Alkoholtupfer im Badezimmer, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich sie direkt mitnehmen möchte. Haha. Das Wichtigste ist, die Feuchtigkeitscreme mitzunehmen, um eine Handcreme herzustellen, sie riecht sehr gut. [Schlagkuss R] Ich muss das Frühstück und den Nachmittagstee, die unten am Berg serviert werden, wirklich loben, sie sind sehr aufmerksam. Der Butler wird Sie im Voraus über die Uhrzeit und die Kategorie informieren und nicht nur die Zahlen erfinden. Am ersten Tag, als Sie eincheckten, war gerade Nachmittagstee. Der Kaffee war sehr gut und die Kuchen waren nicht minderwertig Bilder📷Schade, dass ich mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt war und den Nachmittagstee verpasst habe. Das nächste Mal möchte ich Kaffee und Nachmittagstee trinken. ☕️ Empfohlenes [Sun R] Frühstück, es ist wirklich reichhaltig und lecker, Freunde müssen aufstehen, hahaha. Das Personal, das den Berg hinunterfährt, ist sehr freundlich und geduldig, aber es gibt keinen unnötigen Service oder übertriebene Begeisterung. Hier können Sie Ihre Zeit frei und natürlich verbringen. Abends gibt es Gute-Nacht-Milch und Birnensuppe, da bleibt nichts übrig. [Gute Nacht R] Für Mädchen, die gerne fotografieren, ist es auch sehr aufregend, hier eine Gruppe zu machen, vor allem wegen meiner Arbeit. Ich hoffe, das nächste Mal wiederzukommen und alles zu erleben, zum Beispiel eine Gruppe kleiner Fotos zu machen.

The highlight of this hotel is the breathtaking view from the room. The hotel ambience feels homey and comfortable. I rarely write reviews for my trips, but this hotel truly won my heart with its welcoming service and friendly receptionists. What surprised me the most was the hotel driver, Mr. Mars, who offered to take us to Dali Railway Station free of charge. As we needed to catch our train, he did his very best to get us there as quickly as possible. What an amazing and unforgettable service! Thank you, Mr. Mars..you truly made our day with your warm and thoughtful service.

Wir hatten einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Der Service war groß Personal waren warm, aufmerksam und immer bereit, zu helfen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Eine der erinnereligsten Teile meines Aufenthalts war die unglaubliche Aussicht vom Zimmer. Ich genieße wirklich die Notwendigkeit, die Fische, Schildkröten, Haie und sogar Manta-Strahlen wunderbar über das Fenster zu sehen. Insgesamt war es eine wunderbare Erfahrung.
