We stopped at the Huntingdon B&B to break up our journey and take in a bit of Robbie Burns history. Our room was lovely and spotless, the shower was amazing and the breakfast was outstanding. All with the added bonus of parking too. Freda was so friendly and chatty. She made us very welcome. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a birthday celebration long weekend with my partner. Freya was a fantastic host and very accommodating and helpful. Ample parking outside the property for cars, and grounds very clean. There was accommodation in a separate building in the grounds which can be stayed in also. Good location, we drove down but a hop, skip and jump from Dumfries train station. 10-15 min walk to town centre, 25 minute walk from Crichton park and 10 minute drive to Dumfries Royal infirmary. Room itself very modern, clean and quiet. Stayed in a double room and it had an en suite toilet and shower - well equipped and shower was fab; great water pressure and never wanted to get out! Bed was comfortable and lovely bedding. Very nice touches in the room for residents: coffee machine with nice Costa capsules, biscuits and equipped with iron and board. Got breakfast as part of our stay and was good quality full breakfast. Was just what we needed to set us up before Parkrun! Freya was very good at suggesting where to visit in the local area and we will be sure to visit again soon, we had a relaxing stay. Would recommend for anyone, staying for a work trip, visiting friends or family or having a break away. Thanks a mill!

This was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the station and a comfortable walk to the town centre. The owner was very accommodating. Definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Nice B&B on the edge of Dumfries, room was easy to find and access (considering we arrived late). Sone parking on site, but owner messaged us on sone other very close by parking when we enquired. Breakfast excellent and an overall great value stay

First class rooms with extremely comfortable beds in friendly, family-run hotel. Beautifully furnished to high standard. Very reasonably priced optional breakfast. In easy walking distance of the town centre.

My daughter booked us to stay here when in dumfries for wedding. We stated in the Anex suite. Fabulous place and immaculate clean and a high standard throughout. Would highly recommend and looking forward to staying in the future.
