For some reason the hotels in the Cortland area are very expensive. In comparison, the Red Roof Inn is a deal. Do note the property is in transition as it is being updated. Still, the rooms, though simple, are clean and orderly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Coffee in the room and at the front desk -- front desk coffee is to be preferred. No other food at the moment. Parking is right next to the motel/hotel, though it is a bit dark. The Inn is located right off of I81, and on the edge of town though very close to the center of the city. Plenty of restaurants nearby. This is a basic but good property, especially given the rate. The staff sparkle. Would stay again. If you need a basic place to stay in Cortland, and don't want to spend a fortune, this is the place.

Das Zimmer war ästhetisch angenehm...sehr schmackhaft ... nichts danky ... sauber ... und ein bequemeres Bett ... Alles mit einer erschwinglichen Rate ...Plus die Nacht- und Morgenpersonal waren sehr gut zu beherbergen ... Recht von Route 81, Dieser Ort ist großartig, nach einem langen Tag auf der Straße zu krachen .... Hoch empfehlen ...

Cleanest room we've stayed in in 10 years. Everything we needed. Staff was professional and courteous. Will stay again.
