Miataland

My wife and I had a FANTASTIC two night stay at Miataland. Since we have owned a Miata MX5 for 20 years it’s been a dream to visit Italy and Miataland. Andrea and his friendly staff welcomed us upon arrival and we couldn’t believe the extent of the Miata theme. Even the bed frames in the rooms are designed to mimic the frame rails of the MX5! We stayed in the “velocity red” room and all the accents were beautiful. The view from our room was spectacular. The evening of our arrival Andrea toured us through his extensive collection of 51 MX5’s (most of them being limited edition or “special” models). Later Andrea was kind enough to give us a private tour of his motorcycle collection which was a total suprise. The next day we completed the necessary paperwork and I put my international driving permit to use when Andrea set us up in his 30th anniversary ND for our tour. He suggested some tour stops and we were off for our 120km drive through the Umbria mountain roads. A visit by the pool with other guests from around the world (Netherlands and USA) completed our day. It was bitter sweet to leave Miataland so soon but hopefully we can return to share more good times with Andea and his staff. This is a must do for any MX5 Miata enthusiast!

Together with my girlfriend we came to MiataLand in the beautiful Umbria. The view you get here is amazing. No picture can do it justice. Especially if you can witness such an amazing sunset as we got to experience. I fell in love with the miata all over again at this place. For any miata enthousiast, go and visit it. At least once, it's very much worth it! Being a Miata enthousiast myself, it was a dream coming true staying at MiataLand. I surely will come back once I get the chance to do so. Also thanks again to everyone who helped us during our stay and for the kindness and hospitality we received! The place instantly felt like a home. :) I hope to come visit again in the future and then take some time for some more, hopefully even better, pictures! :)

Wonderful stay. The hotel itself is incredibly premium and homey feeling—a lovely mix of Italian villa meets modern Scandinavian minimalism. Every turn reveals more automotive (largely, but not exclusively Miata-themed) or motorcycle history and art. While this hotel feels “away” from the hustle of major cities, the surrounding villages are stunning, and worthy of the time you get with one of the hotel’s cars in the Miata collection. This is such an unexpected and specific experience for Italy, but Miatas (and Miataland) feel truly at home on wine country backroads.

We’ve had the BEST time at miataland over the last few days. Beautiful location, great accommodation, a very knowledgeable host who’s clearly a huge enthusiast, and wonderful friendly service. Particular thanks go to Francesca, who helped us navigate the train strike so we could get back to Rome, and taught us the Italian for “cross your fingers” 😂 Hope we can return some day 🤞🏻

We stayed here because my husband loves Miatas but even for those that are not into cars, this is a beautiful villa to stay in. The location is close to the top of a hill overlooking the countryside of Umbria, which is beautiful. The owners are nice and accommodating! They made our stay even better! We were able to drive around in a Miataland edition Miata and they recommended great restaurants nearby! We would definitely recommend and go back!

Fare un lavoro per passione fa la differenza ed entrando in Miataland si percepisce appieno . Tutto lo staff è semplicemente perfetto , chi ti accoglie in receptions , chi ti accompagna a fare il bellissimo tour sulle Miata nei posti bellissimi dell' Umbria ed infine il Titolare Andrea che ti accompagna a vedere l' esposizione delle Miata più rare spiegando la storia unica delle stesse . Insomma non è un soggiorno è una magnifica esperienza dove tutto è bello. Le Moto esposte nei saloni da guardare come quadri non sono da meno .

E’ difficile descrivere con poche parole la bellezza di una persona appassionata e competente come Andrea. Non è solo un anfitrione esemplare ma sopratutto un amante del mondo dei motori a tutto tondo. Data per assodata la passione sconfinata per la Miata, ne sa tanto ed è un piacere grande parlare della propria passione con chi sa ascoltare ed allo stesso tempo condividere. Si perché la storia della Mx-5 è una grandiosa saga generazionale piena di curiosità e fatti incredibili raccontata con il cuore tra le 4 mura di una struttura bellissima, in stile italiano e con quella sfumatura minimal che richiama la filosofia della Miata (Less is more…). L’accoglienza è stata degna dei migliori resort e ringrazio davvero tanto lo staff che ci ha coccolati. Spero vivamente che l’avventura di Miataland continui, prosperi e di potervi tornare per vivere la Miata in quel modo unico ed indimenticabile che sono a Miataland è possibile. Grazie!!!

Ovviamente il giro in macchina attira molto ed è piacevole (forse lo sarebbe di più se venissero spiegate le bellezze del territorio, con qualche storia o aneddoto) Molte note negative • Al momento del check out ci vengono chiesti 6 euro per la funivia di Orvieto (quando in realtà erano stati spesi 5.40€ e di soldi ne avevamo già lasciati parecchi). • É stato chiesto il costo per la benzina senza presentare degli scontrini così a fiducia. • Tornati dal giro sotto 40 gradi il proprietario ci accoglie elogiando le cose che ci aveva preparato per rinfrescarci ( un po’ di acqua e della limonata), non dico di volere caviale e champagne, ma due noccioline e uno spritz del discount avrebbero fatto più bella figura. • La cosa peggiore di tutti però è che siano entrati in camera nostra mentre eravamo fuori a cena per spegnerci l’aria condizionata. La nostra camera aveva una vetrata che occupava tutta la parete, la stanza aveva raggiunto forse i 40 gradi ed era invivibile avevamo lasciato acceso al minimo per rinfrescare e al nostro ritorno era spenta con la chiave per l’interruttore spostata, questa è una grave violazione di privacy, oltretutto senza dirci niente dopo. Molto interessante la collezione di auto, fosse tenuta meglio senza dover stringersi e fare zig zag facendo la sauna sarebbe stata più piacevole. Durante il giro in macchina siamo stati guidstida un ragazzo molto cordiale e preparato.

Esperienza bellissima! La zona è incantevole, il resort è favoloso. Siamo stati accolti in modo amichevole. Le camere sono personalizzate e la piscina si affaccia su una vista mozzafiato. La visita della collezione di MX5 di Andrea è molto ineressante e ti immerge nella sua passione. Consigliatissimo! Beautiful experience! The area is lovely, the resort is fabulous. We were greeted in a friendly way. The rooms are personalized and the swimming pool overlooks a breathtaking view. Visiting Andrea's MX5 collection is very interesting and immerses you in his passion. Highly recommended!
