Das Zimmer ist groß und zwei Einzelbetten sind perfekt. Die Klimaanlage ist kalt genug. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist begrenzt, aber köstlich. Der Preis ist angemessen und die Angestellten sind aufmerksam und freundlich. Es lohnt sich zu bleiben

I’m very happy that I found this place. I spent a lot of time searching and reading reviews. I was instantly glad that I made the right decision. The room looks like it did in the photos, beautiful. Everything was new and immaculate. The location is about a 5-7 minute walk from Tha Pae Gate and all the bars and restaurants. There is also a nightly food street market nearby with delicious foods to try. It’s quite nice to be a few minutes away from all the noisy bars and restaurants. Try the Chai restaurant for great nighttime music from around 9pm. The See You Soon restaurant had daily visits because of its delicious Thai food and cocktails. You can tap in and out as you wish. Everything was very easy here. It was easy to get from here to any of the main locations for tourists. David was very lovely and helped me navigate everything that I wanted to do. If you aren’t sure about anything he has lots of tips to help you navigate your stay in Chiang Mai. His mum was also lovely and welcoming. Really glad that I booked this hotel. I ended up booking an additional 5 days! Thank you David!

I was so excited to stay at The Entaneer Poshtel given all the glowing reviews of Pappy and his hospitality. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience here as a solo female traveler and ultimately left early due to discomfort. When I arrived, Pappy asked me to join a group outing to go out partying that night. I asked who was going, and he told me it was a mix of men and women. It turned out to be only men. While usually not worrisome, a couple of the men started making uncomfortable remarks as they zeroed in on me as the only woman in the group . They kept asking how much I drank, how my alcohol tolerance was (if I got drunk easily), if I liked to party, and talked about “massages with happy endings”. I felt unsafe as the only woman in this group of men. I kept asking if the women were coming and Pappy kept saying they would, but they never arrived and so I made an excuse and left the group early. When I went back to the hostel, I could barely sleep because I felt nervous about the comments that had been made to me, and I was in a single room. I ultimately decided to check out the next day and find another place to stay. I told Pappy that I was leaving because some guests made me feel very uncomfortable. I even went so far as to ask him to tell anyone who asked where I went that I was meeting friends, so that they wouldn’t know I was traveling alone. Rather than be concerned (like asking if I was okay, getting more details on what happened), Pappy immediately became defensive (“was it something I did? There’s no refund”). He was not understanding at all and I left feeling like it was my fault to want to go. I returned my keycard and made it clear I wasn’t coming back, and ultimately left a lot of money on the table to get myself out of this situation. I understand Pappy is a very welcoming host that loves to bring people together. I would urge him to be more thoughtful about dynamics - especially when they involve young, solo, female travelers. I know others have had great experiences and I was unlucky because of the other guests at this time, but this is something Pappy should be more attuned to. If a solo female traveler tells a hostel owner that others are making them feel uncomfortable, they should feel supported. I’ve stayed at plenty of hostels around the world (all over South America, Europe, and Asia) but have never left one early due to feeling this uncomfortable or nervous.

Sehr guter Service, geheimlich ein wenig schwer zu finden. In der Nähe von Sieben in der Nähe des Marktes Der Besitzer ist wunderschön, super aufmerksam. Hat Snacks zu essen Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, die Aussicht ist gut, das Bett ist weich, sehr gefroren, das Badezimmer ist auch sehr gut, der Klimaanlage ist cool, es gibt einen Fan im Balkon, Sie können sitzen und möchten wieder bleiben.

Wir haben eine Woche in der Casa Vespa in Chiang Mai verbracht und wir waren vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis überwältigt. Wir hatten fast täglich Ausflüge und es war uns wichtig , dass wir uns abends in ein schönes Zimmer zum Erholen kommen konnten. Der Eigentümer gab uns auch noch super Tipps für Ausflüge und hat zusätzlich für uns ein Shuttle gebucht. So mussten wir uns um nichts kümmern und konnten unseren Urlaub genießen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im letzten Stock mit einem super Ausblick und es war sehr schön und geräumig . Tägliche Säuberung versteht sich bei ihnen natürlich von selbst! Unsere Erwartungen wurden absolut übertroffen. Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, jedoch den guten Café am Morgen haben wir immer genossen. Samstagabend wird die Straße vor dem Hotel zum Nightmarket und man kann gemütlich mit einem kühlen Getränk das bunte Treiben beobachten. Wir empfehlen die Casa Vespa zu 100% weiter und wünschen dem Betreiber und den freundlichen Angestellten alles Gute und bis bald!
