房間較緊湊，衞生可以，衞生間較新，因入住等房間緊靠廚房油煙排放管，晚上一樓餐廳停業前和早上開始做早餐後，管道排放噪音較大，房間有油煙味，停車在馬路對面停車場，免費，方便

Me and my partner came here for his birthday meal, we were recommended to come and eat here by the lady hosting us in her air b&b. The food was incredible, couldn’t fault any of it! Cooked to perfection! The service was also amazing, super friendly staff and very prompt! They came out with other suggestions too when it came to drinks which is great service. Only thing I wish is that they were able to add tips onto the bill, we never carry cash round with us and whenever we go for food we always ask them to add a tip on, but they couldn’t do that here at The Royal, so we weren’t able to tip!

Lovely place, food drinks and staff top notch. We did have to ask for our drinks twice and my curry sauce was not bought out with meal but they didnt charge me for it. 4 of us had haddock and chips as it was good Friday, delucious. Top tip make sure you book. It waa really busy.

Absolutely gorgeous place, food was fantastic!!!....... Service extremely friendly and courteous, decor beautiful, very spacious and inviting. Can not recommend this place highly enough, we will certainly be coming again if in the area

Dropped in for a lunchtime meal, chose from the a la carte menu. The place itself had a nice aroma of coffee and the staff were efficient and polite. The food was not up to a basic standard for several reasons. I had haddock and chips. The whole point of fish and chips is that it should be crisp and clean, or there's not much point to it. I have no idea how the fish was cooked but the batter was soaked in grease, and pretty unpleasant, and I left most of it on the plate. The fish inside was okay, but slightly overcooked. My partner had trout, and I could see the look on her face as it arrived. At £21 I asked if it was whole fish or fillet, but the waiter didn't know. It came as a nouvelle cuisine sized fillet, small, a little overcooked, and no vegetables with the potato accompaniment, which was unimpressive. First time I'd been to The Royal for some years, don't think I'll bother going back again. Pity, the pub itself looked nice...

Ordered here on local eats app amazing food and delivery service. Homemade food tge fush melted I. My mouth , as a disabled customer the support when the delivery person delivered was amazing! Thank you to them, not all places do this and it really helps

Brilliant stay, first visit of many, I have family in Carnforth that I don't get to see much, but going to visit more and this is where we will choose to stay in future visits, we felt very well looked after, food at dinner was just delicious 😋. Couldn't of been more accommodating especially as I'm Type 2 diabetic, I asked for small portion of mashed potato and sauce on the side, which they provided, and chef was on the ball and tell me what was lower or too high in sugar. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the sheer heat in the room, it made my libre 2 blood glucose sensor fall off, so I'd maybe turn the heat down if you can

Lovely bar and food and staff but the accommodation wasn’t great. Room was very dark, shower was cold, no hot water no matter what you did with the shower controls, hot tap on the sink barely worked it was lukewarm at best. At least the heating was working and the beds were comfortable.

The menu choice is excellent. The a**osphere was warm and welcoming contrary to the rain outside. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. We both ordered the small gammon - I wouldn't have liked to tackle the big gammon. Our portion size was perfect for lunch.
