The AC in the room was terrible. After many calls to the front desk. We finally got through and informed them of the heat in the room. Was told someone will come to check. After waiting an hour, I fell asleep in the heat. Middle of the night it was still hot. By the morning the aircon had finally gotten cold. What a horrible night we had. The towels at this hotel are also subpar for a holiday inn. Breakfast and service was good. Location is good too. Free car parking.

The surrounding area were too jam due to the nearby construction. Building and design a bit ages however was well maintained. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast was good, many varieties. A small minus will be the overnight oatmeal was not up to par.

Everything was good. Some of the reviews made me a little nervous re: WiFi and aircon, but the only issue we ran into was the aircon and it was quickly rectified after calling the concierge. Turns out we had to switch on a main switch. Wifi worked well in the room. Extremely minor con is that the room felt unfinished, with some paint streaks and builder’s marks here and there, but this was more of a cosmetic issue and did not affect our stay at all. Roosters crowing, call to prayer and other neighbourhood sounds were not disruptive at all, in fact it made the experience much more homely and cozy 🥰 Cannot comment on breakfast and amenities as we did not use them. Overall - a wonderful and comfortable stay in an incredibly clean room with smooth service. :) View was wonderful too!

We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete.

Easy access and lots of food around . Nice to be back and awesome room . Strong aircon and clean environment beside the wall there’s water stain .

Check-in staff is friendly and process is a breeze. You'll need to provide RM50 cash deposit upon check-in and will get it back upon check-out. Hotel's guests can also leave their bags with the hotel for security as they go for an extended day out after check-out. The queen room with window was relatively clean upon checking in. Window faces the roofs of the adjacent shophouses - nothing much to see. Didn't like that the sink is outside the toilet and no bar soap for washing hands is provided. Mould can be found around the toilet on tiles with a mild smell but tolerable. As a deep sleeper, hotel soundproofing is considered bad. The singing from the bottom karaoke didn't even stop until 4:45am on a Monday morning. The singing travels just soft enough to still have you guess what song is being played. You can even hear the next door plugging their electronics against the wall and people's conversations outside the room's door. Mattress and pillows are clean and soft, however not comfortable to sleep on but this ultimately is just personal preference. The hotel occupies the top 3 floors of the building while restaurants and karaoke are on the bottom floors. Lots of trending eateries around the area - short walk away.

Stayed at suite with 2 bedrooms (4 pax), clean and comfortable. Good rate that includes daily breakfast. Hotel breakfast- feedback that food should be kept warm at all times

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming guesthouse, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The host was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable throughout my stay. Location-wise, it was perfect. Nestled in a quiet area but still close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. It was the ideal balance between peacefulness and convenience.i will visit again.

Host YQYH sent Whatsapp messages 3-4 days in advance to let us know the check-in information. They have been kind. Amenities are provided. Cleanliness can be improved though. For travellers walking from JBCC to R&F, do note that there is a little construction of the overhead bridge and needed to go down and up again to reach there. We stayed in Phase 2 which needed a bit of walking compared to phase 2 buildings. Both myself and the boys slept throughout the night but not my husband. The beds are the firm type. Overall, the experience was okay for me.

The good: comfortable bed, decent cleanliness, working aircon, game console was cool, nice view at #48. The bad: Host expect you to contact them on the day else no sound no pic. Sent a series of pictures and videos, shock to see they asked for deposit and my passport photo as part of their requirements. I’m not comfortable with that. Drivers beware: This unit located at B1-2 is damn troublesome. I had to park outside the gantry and walked all the way to the end of the building (approx 200m one way) to get the card. The guard weren’t familiar with such arrangement had to call another guard over to assist in order to let me into the mailroom to retrieve the access card. After that had to walk all the way back again to the entrance. When I drove to the gantry, the access card didn’t work, guard had to come over again to assist. End up found out it’s because the previous user did not “tap out” so we can’t “tap in”. The wayfinding in the carpark is worse ever. Don’t know where to go up, don’t know where to exit. Turn round and round the entire carpark to find and realised it’s in the middle of nowhere. Now for the accommodation itself, it’s decent. Towels were provided. No toothbrush provided but 8 combs provided instead (pic). The cups were damn disgusting (pic). Overall will not return as the carpark and checkin experience was really a huge turnoff.
