Zum 7. mal in diesem wunderbaren Hotel, sehr familiär, nettes Personal, super Küche, gerne wieder. Es ist für uns jedesmal wie nach Hause kommen. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus, von hier können die Entdeckungstouren starten, und abends im Hotel etwas Feines essen, Coronabedingt war diesmal die Karte etwas kleiner, aber einfach top👍🏻

Ich mag dieses Hostel aus einer Reihe von Gründen wirklich. Wir buchen es auf Buchung und konnte die Buchung bis zu 2 Tage vor dem Ankunftsdatum stornieren, und Sie können bei Ankunft bezahlen (mit Forints oder mit Karte). Das Personal ist angenehmen und informativ, der ganze Platz ist sauber und geräumig, und die Pflanzen geben so ein schönes Vibe. Wir haben im Zimmer mit 8 Betten (Bündelbetten) geblieben. Jedes Bett hat ein Gräser, kleiner Schrank, 2 elektrische Ausgänge, eine Lampe und ein kleines Kabinett. Sie können auch einen größeren Stamm unter dem Bett haben, der mit einem Schließfach (kostenlos) kommt. Handtücher können für €2 gemietet werden. Jede Etage hat ein Badezimmer mit mehreren Duschen, Toiletten und Badewanne; alles wird täglich gereinigt. Der Boden, wo die meisten Zimmer sind, hat eine kleine Küche, aber auf dem Hauptboden gibt es eine wirklich große Küche, Studio-Zimmer, Spielzimmer, Wohnzimmer und jeder von ihnen ist geräumig und luftig. Zimmer und Hosteltür mit einer Karte, die Sie bei der Eincheckung erhalten. Die Lage des Hostels ist großartig, es ist neben einem Stadtmarkt und etwa 10 Minuten von Vaci Straße und U-Bahnstation. Nächstes Mal komme ich nach Budapest, werde ich keine andere Unterkunft suchen, ich komme definitiv zurück zu Flow!

We had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title ”Dr” so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das mit dem abgeschlossenen Parkbereich hat mir sehr gut gefallen, das Personal, war in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, sowohl von der Qualität der angebotenen Speisen, als auch von der Vielfalt dieser. Da unser Zimmer in Richtung Straße ausgerichtet war, war es natürlich auch nicht so ruhig, da hier schon bis in die frühen Morgenstunden gefeiert wird, wir das aber als nicht lästig empfanden, sondern vielmehr als ein Zeichen der Lebensfreude. die diese Stadt ausstrahlt. Dieses Hotel ist in allen Bereichen eine echte Empfehlung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke!!!

STAY HERE! Made a mistake on my booking by getting the mixed dorm however I wanted a female room, they changed it at reception without hassle and no extra charge (€27 for 3 nights) the room is very clean, the beds are comfy and you get a privacy curtain, light, plug and hangers in your little pod. There’s a few showers, hairdryer and toilets next to the room and a place to get ready in the morning (very clean) there is a bar downstairs with tvs and also serving good food, there’s chill places to sit outside the room and a rooftop. - 1 min walk to a shop - In the centre, short walks to landmarks - A bus to the airport 10 minute walk away - Bolt, buses and trams to get everywhere Would definitely stay here again!

Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber das Frühstück ist sehr komplett, und es gibt einen Teppich, die Gesundheit ist sehr sauber, weil das Frühstückspaket, das gekauft wird, morgens unten zum Frühstück gekauft werden kann, das Frühstück sollte vollständig sein, der Servicepersonal lächelt sehr schwach

Die Lage der Zimmer ist sehr gut, die Fenster sind an der Burg von Buda und an der Cambridge. Der Fluss ist eine leichte Eisenbahnstation und der Verkehr ist sehr bequem zu allen Attraktionen. Aber es gibt eine gewisse Entfernung vom U-Bahnhof und vom Flughafenbusbahnhof, die etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß benötigen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut. Es gibt eine Loungebar im oberen Stock, es ist um fünf Uhr im Sommer geöffnet, es sollte nicht nach oben gehen, aber die Landschaft sollte immer noch gut sein. Mercure Budapest Korona Hotel was the dream hotel to choose for our week holiday. I was planning to propose to my partner while in Budapest for this break. I contacted the hotel and was planning the engagement for the last 5 months, back and forth via email with an amazing member of the team, Alexandra Turai. Alexandra went above and beyond for us. She organised everything I dreamt of having for a proposal: flowers in the room on arrival with a message I had provided before hand; the hotel room decorated with balloons for the proposal night and champagne on ice. Alexandra suggested different restaurants to attend for our week holiday, and each was the most perfect experience. Without Alexandra's help, I would be lost, and I am sure the week would not have gone as smoothly if it was not for Alexandra. I am lucky to say my partner Amber said YES and we left Budapest engaged! Amber described it as her dream engagement. Due to Alexandra's support, we are planning to come back to Mercure Korona Hotel in the near future, potentially to have our wedding. Thank you so much Alexandra and the whole team at Mercure Korona. I was supposed to stay for three nights at the MP Hostel in Budapest; but left a couple of hours after I checked in. I arrived in the hostel before the check-in time; thus requested to leave my suitcase while awaiting check-in. Receptionist David just told me, ”You can put it in the storage room.” He did not even show me where the storage room is. I had to find the room myself. Mind you, David was not busy at that time. He was just chatting with a friend in the reception area. When I finally checked in the hostel late afternoon and went to my room, I noticed that the room was very cold. I opened the heater knob; and waited for more than an hour. No changes; it was still very cold. I then went to the reception; and informed receptionist David about this. He was in the reception, indeed, just talking to another hostel staff Daniel who is apparently the hostel F&B manager. He casually told me, ”Open the heater valve.” To which I replied, ”I did that more than an hour ago; but it's still very cold. Perhaps you can accompany me to the room; and we can both check the heater.” David answered, ”It's not my job. I'm the receptionist; not the technician... and the technician is not here. Wait for your room to get warm.” I said, ”It's been more than an hour since I opened the heater; but the room never got warm at all. If it's not your job to address the heater problem, then who can help me fix this? Can you at least transfer me to another room with a working heating system?” After David called up someone and checked the available rooms, he finally agreed to move me to another room. While I was at the reception waiting for my new room to be ready, I was talking to a friend on the phone to express my disappointment. When David said that my room was ready, I hung my phone up right away; and was surprised when he said, ”I”M A F*CKING RECEPTIONIST. THE HOSTEL MANAGEMENT PLACED ME HERE BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. CHECKING THE ROOM OR THE HEATER IS NOT MY JOB.” I replied, ” Where did the 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' words come from? To be clear, I never addressed you a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' ” I said these sentences at least twice, to reiterate my point. Without knowing the context of the conversation because he (Daniel) was playing a video game on his phone, F&B manager Daniel suddenly charged at me, kept on pointing his right index finger at me, and raised his voice, ”Don't you dare disrespect my friend and call him 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' OR ELSE...” I then said, ”I didn't even call David a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' Go ask him.” When David agreed that I did not call him that, I then went inside my new room which was still very cold. Heater in the new room was not working. Again. After all the negative experience at MP Hostel Budapest, I decided to leave right away; and found another private room in a hostel nearby. Zero customer service. Aggressive. Threatening. I hope the hostel will improve on its customer service, and value its guests.
