Beautiful hotel to stay in
right next to the beach just a short walk away
Room was big and spacious with a view nice one although not a sea view the bathroom was just lush shower was lovely to use Only problem not knowing how to use the heating in the room
The pool and hot tub was really quite and relaxing
Breakfast service was fast and fresh
Lovely experience all round

Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5

The hotel itself was lovely! Unfortunately when we arrived and got into our bedroom around 11pm a member of staff was banging on the door demanding to be in, not once but twice. Which definitely ruined our stay, they’d apparently been a leak? There was also what looked like chewing gum in the sink? Apart from that the hotel was nice, the corridors & bar were clean & the front of house staff were lovely

Very Friendly staff ,very overpriced rooms in need of a thorough clean ,not what I was expecting for the price.
We stayed for one night at a cost of £285 (breakfast not included) we were refused breakfast in the morning as they where to busy , the restaurant must have only been half full ,we couldn’t believe it so we eat in a cafe around the corner from the hotel 👎🏿

We got a lovely double room with a sea view it was amazing for the £110 with breafast included and the use of the spa.
The bathroom had mood lights which was really relaxing.
The staff were friendly, check in was quick.
We didn't have any problems so not sure how they will have been dealt with if we had.
Breakfast was nice and there was a good choice, I had abit of everything.
Yes the hotel is a little tiered but it was built in 1844!! The windows were a little dirty but so are mine at home at this time of year.
For the money its an absolute bargin.
We found a fabulous restaurant called Licorella not far from the hotel and this made our stay complete. We had a fabulous weekend it was definitely worth the money and we will go again.
