The staff were nice and the food was good. The room was a reasonable size.
My issue is with the 10% service charge, that is added to your food and drinks bill. This is the UK not America!! We make a point of leaving a tip where ever we stay or eat, but for it to be taken without knowing about it, really annoyed, as I had left the our tip, before checking the receipt the next day.

Manager and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Old property but managed well and my room was very clean and comfortable. Being an older property and it was -4 on one of the nights I stayed , it was a bit draughty despite the radiators being on full blast. There was an additional heater in the wardrobe which was very welcomed. Food was delicious on both evenings that I stayed there. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful find and we were sad it was just 1 night before we went to the airport. Food fabulous. Service excellent and everything you could think of provided in the room!! We will definitely be back but for longer next time.

An absolute Gem, located In a small town outside of Bristol, two night stay, staff were accommodating and friendly, excellent service. Room were Ideal for a few nights stay, cosy, comfortable. Slept very well! Would definitely recommend and be returning myself.

Booked this place at last minute as previous booking cancelled.
Location perfect - right in the centre of the village. Handy for local shops.
Room really clean with everything you need. Huge bathroom. Really good shower. Loads of hot water.
Restaurant nice. Good choice of food. Excellent service
