Les photos étaient plutôt attirantes mais nous avons été assez déçus en arrivant. Les logements sont très chaud ( heureusement que ce n’était pas la canicule) , le ménage bâclé ( vitre sale , aspirateur que j’ai dû vider avant de l’utiliser ) . Un gros manque d’entretien extérieur, terrasse avec pleins de mauvaises pelouse non tondu. Côté activité il y a 2 ou 3 tables de ping-pong et une piscine un peu petite par rapport au nombre de logements. Le site est uniquement piéton, ce n’est pas trop gênant sauf si il pleut car se sont des petits chemin de gravillons et terre donc vraiment très salissant pour la voiture et le logement . Prévoyez de courir après les chariots à bagage en arrivant et repartant . A plus de 800 euros la semaine, je trouve cela cher pour ce que c’est . Les point positifs est que le personnel était gentil et une salle d’accueil avec ce qu’il faut pour découvrir la région .

A l'extérieur de la ville, j'ai apprécié de pouvoir occuper ma chambre à 14h grâce au totem. Chambre propre, avec télévision, douche et wc,, chambre conforme à la description faite sur la réservation. . Bon accueil pour un déjeuner qui peut-être copieux

Hallo, Ich möchte Ihnen mitteilen, dass ich die größte Unzufriedenheit über die Uhr von Saumur bezüglich der Reise in Saumur habe. Ich war am Mittwoch, den 19. Abend, in diesem Hotel nach der Buchung über die Buchungsanwendung dieses Hotels. Bei meiner Reservierung über die App Booking habe ich eine Nachricht erhalten, dass es ein Netzwerkproblem gab und ich wieder anfangen musste. Ich habe also eine zweite Reservierung gemacht. Als ich zum Hotel kam, erkannte ich die doppelte Buchung und warnte die Empfängerin, sobald ich ankam, 5 Minuten nach der Online-Reservierung. Die Firma hat mir das Problem aufgezeigt und die Führung wäre am nächsten Morgen beim Checkout zur Verfügung, um darüber zu sprechen. Das ist etwas, was ich am nächsten Morgen beim Checkout bei der Direktion erwähnen möchte, dass ich mit Booking zu sprechen. Ich rufe Booking in der Folge an, die mir sagt, dass ich die Zustimmung des Hotelherstellers benötigen muss, aber das Problem ist, dass der Direktor mir dieses zweite Zimmer nicht zurückzahlen will, weil er behauptet, dass ich eine nicht zurückzahlbare Buchung gemacht habe, die nicht annulliert werden kann. Ich habe versucht, ihn per Telefon anzurufen, um mit ihm darüber zu reden. Er wollte nichts hören. Entweder sagen, sein Boss würde jedenfalls nein sagen, weil er Hotels 7.500 verwaltet. Ich kann diese Antwort nicht zufriedenstellen. Das Hotel ist nicht ernst.

Das Hotel liegt an der Loire wenige Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Es gibt eine kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeit (Stand August 2020: 10€) im Innenhof (oder kostenlos vor dem Hotel an der Straße) und einen sehr kleinen Außenpool sowie einen Whirlpool mit Blick auf das Schloss. Für eine kleine Abkühlung aber ausreichend. Das Hotel ist in einem alten, sehr schön renovierten Gebäude untergebracht. Toller Innenhof (mit Blick auf das Schloss), wo man frühstücken oder abends ein Glas Wein trinken kann. Positiv: Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr schön mit einem eindrucksvollen Treppenhaus. Das Attic Familienzimmer selbst war groß und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Große und gute Betten. Toilette und ein großes Bad sind separat. Gutes Frühstück. Negativ: Sehr ärgerlich war, dass die Hotel-Webseite in Deutsch für alle 41 Zimmer einen Blick entweder auf das Schloss oder auf die Loire verspricht. Diese Information ist aber falsch. Wir hatten ein Attic (=Dachboden) Familienzimmer gebucht, hatten aber dort nur den Blick auf den Himmel über der Loire. Auch Dachböden können Fenster mit Aussicht haben, deshalb hätte man bei der Beschreibung des Zimmers daraufhin weisen müssen, dass es hier keinen Ausblick gibt. Der Safe im Zimmer war zu klein, um z.B. ein iPad einzuschließen, außerdem funktionierte er nicht. Ein Regal im Schrank war vom vorherigen Gast noch klebrig. Da das Zimmermädchen bei unserem Einzug noch auf dem Flur war, bat ich sie die klebrigen Stellen sauber zu machen, was sie dann auch machte. Sowas kann passieren, sollte aber in Covid 19- Zeiten und den geltenden Hygienevorschriften nicht vorkommen. Am zweiten Tag wurden bei der Zimmerreinigung die Handtücher vergessen. Wir hatten das Hotel wegen seiner Lage und den versprochenen Ausblick gebucht - sehr enttäuschend. Für die falsche Information über die Aussicht gibt eine Abwertung. Fazit: Da es bei Tripadvisor kein „Gut“ gibt, geht die Tendenz eindeutig eher zum „Sehr gut“, als zum „Befriedigend“ Die Mängel bei der Information auf der Webseite und dem Housekeeping können sicherlich behoben werden. Wer ein Zimmer mit Ausblick buchen will, sollte nicht das Attic Familienzimmer buchen. Wer darauf keinen Wert legt, bekommt ein schönes großes Zimmer. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Saumur sehr zu empfehlen.

Good 3 star hotel in central location. We stayed 3 nights in a superior double in 1st floor. Room ok size, bathroom good as had bath and shower- all very clean. I liked the option of not having housekeeping every day, and was able to get refill coffee and toilet roll from reception when required. Air con worked well. We asked for a sheet instead of the duvet as it was hot, and they accommodated our request. Very helpful bilingual front desk staff. There is no lift, and a little bit of noise of people in upstairs room walking around. The parking was closed for building work, but easy to park in open car park opposite for 8 euros 24 hrs. We didn’t have breakfast as lots of nearby cafés. We would stay again.

Firstly this hotel is in a great location and only a ten minute walk to the centre. The receptionist and the woman who was in charge of breakfast were both great. The room however was in desperate need of refurbishment. Initially our air conditioning wasn't working but the receptionist (she seemed to be doubling up as maintenance) came up and replaced/cleaned the filter and it was fine after that. The bathroom was a mess. Someone has decided to paint the area around the sink with brown paint that isn't waterproof. Everything that touched it (toothbrushes, towels, shaver, etc,) came away stained. I mentioned this at checkout but the receptionist didn't seem surprised or particularly interested. I suspect she knows about it. Breakfast was fine. Private parking is very tight. If you have a larger car I wouldn't bother, I'd stick to the street outside. We have a VW Golf and it was difficult to manoeuvre in and out. Oh then there's the price. We were quoted 11 euros on arrival, then 10 euros on checkout. My wife then pointed out it says 9 euros on the tariff notice in reception and that suddenly became the price! Overall then the hotel is in a good position but in need of some investment. Its a long way past its best

Mit einer kürzlich erwischten Wärmewelle war dieses Hotel unser Retter, nachdem Campanile uns zweimal in zwei Tagen hinuntergelassen hat. reserviert via Booking.com im Autopark, und von dort an war es ein anderer Urlaub. Einchecken war ein Brise. Zimmer 503 w/zwei Einzelbetten waren geräumig und hatten A/c arbeiten, wir schliefen endlich und fühlten sich wieder Mensch am nächsten Tag. Das mit dem Frühstück war alles, was Sie beantragen konnten, und lecker mit ihm. Obwohl wir in der Nähe der Bahnhof waren, haben wir nichts gehört, und wir konnten unsere Reise fortsetzen, lebten und in einem viel besseren Zustand. Wir würden sicher noch einmal hier bleiben!!
