Ich hatte einen unglaublichen Aufenthalt und verlängerte zwei weitere Nächte. Die GM und das Personal sind super hilfreich und Kundenorientiert. Zimmer ist geräumig. Morgenjoga ist enthalten und der männliche Yogalehrer ist phänomenal. Die Yoga-Praktik ist im Kloster. Die Lage ist ein weiterer Vorteil. Es ist zu Fuß entfernt von der Boudha Stupa, die mir erlaubt, dort ein paar Mal am Tag zu gehen. Gleichzeitig ist es in einem ruhigen Tod. Schließlich könnte es hilfreich sein für einige, die digital abzukoppeln wünschen, weil WiFi nicht zu gut funktioniert . Es gibt nur einen Server in der Nähe der Treppe in meinem Gebäude. Wenn Ihr Zimmer weit davon entfernt ist, ist das Signal offensichtlich problematisch.

Das ist ein schmackvolles Hotel, sehr komfortabel. Die Menge der Dekoration ist sehr groß, es scheint, als wäre ich im Museum. Das Frühstücksmittel ist auch ein Schmetterling, und ich bin zufrieden mit schönen und organischen Speisen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und ruhig.

Der Service war in Ordnung. Nur die Aussicht vom Hotel ist wirklich toll. Der Wasserdruck ist allerdings gering. Ich habe auch im Alof übernachtet und würde Ihnen empfehlen, etwas mehr Geld für das Alof auszugeben – der Service ist dort deutlich besser.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! The hotel location is excellent, fantastic breakfast,staff cooperation everywhere was excellent. This hotel is not a four star hotel according to the Nepal hospitality...it clearly shows it's a three star hotel and all the facilities are related to three star or below. The rooms are small,if staying with a couple or with a girlfriend is fine but if it's staying with two individuals it is very difficult moving and keeping the baggage, and other things. The windows are fixed and can't open. I will say again that the staff were fantastic.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

Die Lage ist ok, es gibt gelegentlich über Sie laufen, wenn Sie im Zimmer sind, Reinigung hat viel zu verbessern. Der schlimmste Teil ist, dass ich ein Zimmer reserviert und ein Zimmer neben dem Aufzug mit einem Fenster ohne Vorhang gegeben wurde, jeder größer genug wäre in der Lage, in mein Zimmer zu schauen und alles in ihm zuzufügen, Das Zimmer war neben dem Aufzug und Sie können jeden Fußsteig und Geräusch/Chat aus dem Korridor hören, und wenn der Aufzug bewegt, gibt es diese super unnötige Musik, die mit ihm läuft, so dass Sie einen Sinn davon über den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht erhalten. Als ich zum Empfangsmitglied um ein anderes Zimmer ging, sagte sie mir, dass es keine anderen Zimmer verfügbar sind und ich muss eine zusätzliche 1500 Rupee zahlen, um auf ein anderes Zimmer zu upgraden, dass Betrag, Mit dem Original, das ich bezahlt habe, würde schon viel höher sein als ein Standard Deluxe-Zimmer. Offensichtlich versuchte sie und das Hotel, mich durch die Verleumdung zu erst ein super schmutziges Zimmer zu betrügen. Obwohl sie sich endlich bereit erklärten, für mich ohne Gebühr Zimmer zu wechseln, war ich ehrlich traumatisiert von diesem Hotel und war durch den Aufenthalt unbehaglich. Dann war der Typ bei der Auscheckung am nächsten Morgen nicht bereit, mich zu fragen, ob ich bereits bezahlt und anrufen hatte, um zu bestätigen. Insgesamt gibt es sicherlich bessere Zimmer für ähnliche Preise in Thamel, also versuchen Sie, dieses Hotel zu verschwinden, es sei denn, Sie mögen einige gute, erinnerliche Gründe, um Ihre Reise zu vernichten.

Nach mehreren Reisen nach Nepal, beschloss ich endlich, mich mit einem Aufenthalt im berühmten Kathmandu Guest House zu behandeln. So glücklich, dass ich es getan habe. So viel Frieden, Gnade, Charme und Schönheit .. und natürlich die Geschichte!

I stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.
