Vintage-Touch mit einem Teppich und Holztisch. Ich liebe es. Räumliche Zimmer zum Preis mit einem Badezimmer. Nur Rückzug. Es gibt keine Stromsockel neben dem Bett. Perfekte Lage neben dem Schloss. Ich habe in der Nacht keinen Lärm gehört. Super ruhig.

Das Zimmer war durchschnittlich ohne Deckeleuchten, aber beide Doppelbetten waren komfortabel. Das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne und es ist ein ziemlich hoher Aufstieg für eine durchschnittliche Höhe Person, eine Dusche zu nehmen. Plus der Boden wurde immer super nass wegen des Dusches Wasser. Die Dusche war auch gebrochen, so dass mehr Wasser hinter der Dusche leckte als auf dem Bad. Es gibt keine Gesichtshanddusche hängen und die erhitzte Handdusche hängend Stoff war überhaupt nicht erhitzt. Der Buffet hatte jeden Tag genau die gleichen Dinge, einschließlich der geschnittenen Früchte 🫣

Best hotel I've been to so far all the staff day/night was well mannered happy helpful joyful staff from reception to dinning down to the cleaners all have above and beyond with my stay from the moment I arrived made me feel equal as im disabled the lift access was easy to use helpful with my luggage straight away no waiting around reception was brilliant excellent communication got my room card really quickly no waiting around 3 lifts so plenty of access to floors my room was beautiful spacious easy access with quick card entrance with electric door just swap and the door opens for you with one press button to exit bathroom has all disabled access toilet bars shower seat with arm rests your able to move from side to side which helps getting to dry floor food was amazing from breakfast buffet massive selection you got to try the mixed fruit juices red and green flavour explosion have your great British fry up with a croissant and cappuccino for afters even had reserved table with easy access with out asking help with service if you want your breakfast brought too your room i highly recommend you stay in the Leonardo hotel for best stay on what ever your needs great tourist's while on your stay you have to visit the castle

We stayed for two nights as our bathroom is being replaced at home. This is a former Premier Inn which retains the 'footprint' and build/comfort standard of a PI. The rooms have showers instead of baths which is perfect for me. I rang ahead and requested a ground floor room which was honoured- we were given room 2 which met our needs and requirements. Bed was really comfortable, tv had limited channels but I was able to log into my Netflix. There is hanging space for your clothes, a hair dryer and plenty of sockets, none by the bed though. The WiFi was adequate for our needs. There is free, secure parking provided at the rear of the hotel - you need a code to exit so as safe as can be. No noise considering the M4 motorway and main A48 sandwich the hotel. There is a restaurant for food but we didn't use it. Menu was a bit pricey but has good reviews. All the staff that we met were friendly. The Receptionists were lovely and a big shout out to Alice who sorted our return visit next week when we get back from holiday. For the money it's excellent value for a clean, friendly place to stay.

Dieses Hotel bietet einen angenehmen Aufenthalt, obwohl die älteren Abschnitte einige geringfügige Herausforderungen aufweisen können. Glücklicherweise hat ein Zimmerwechsel zu einem neuen Gebäude alle ursprünglichen Bedenken gelöst. Das Personal war im Allgemeinen untergebracht, aber der Service könnte manchmal etwas langsam sein. Insgesamt überwiegen die positiven Aspekte die kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten, die erlebt wurden. Es ist eine respektable Option für Reisende, die Komfort suchen.

I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

Das Zimmer befindet sich in der Mitte des Stadtzentrums in der Nähe des Schlosses und lokaler Attraktionen. Leider ist das Zimmer in einen Nachtclub zurückgewiesen, der Musik bis 4am spielte. Wenn Sie ein leichter Schlafer sind, könnte dies ein Problem sein. Andere dann, dass schöne Ort.

Ich bin so froh, dass wir beschlossen, im Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff zu bleiben. Ich habe die sehr wichtige Aufgabe, einen Ort zu finden, um übernachten für den besonderen Geburtstag meines Freundes. Ich wusste nicht wirklich, wo ich anfangen soll, so verglichen ich die Preise der Hotels in der Umgebung. Ich war überrascht zu sehen, dass die ‘Budget’ Hotels Premier Inn und Travelodge für die gegebenen Termine nicht billiger waren als The Coal Exchange! Ich sah die Fotos und Bewertungen an und sie sah perfekt für eine besondere Gelegenheit aus. Es wurde in der Geschichte mit dem Innendesign gestaffelt, und es war bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, in dem es erbaut wurde, wahr. ursprünglich, da es fünf von uns waren, hatte ich das Sextuplet-Zimmer gebucht. Es sah erstaunlich aus und wir waren alle sehr aufgeregt, dort zu bleiben. Leider mussten wir aber wegen der Wartungsarbeiten an diesem Teil des Gebäudes unsere Pläne in drei Doppelzimmer direkt nebeneinander ändern. Die Zimmer waren schön. Boden bis Oberfläche Doppelfenster, reichhaltiges Papier, Zierzeitmöbel und ein schönes komfortables Zentrumbett. Die Badezimmer hatten herrliche Jacuzzi-Badewanne und Steinbecken. Am nächsten Morgen hatten wir ein leckeres Frühstück im Restaurant Culleys im Innenraum der Kohlebörse. Die Mitarbeiter hier sind sehr freundlich und gehen Sie aus ihrem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie den besten Aufenthalt haben. Ich kann nicht warten, bis ich zurückkehre.

I have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.
