GGastnutzerStaff are so polite and lovely. The room was modern and clean. I especially loved the bathroom because it was super clean and spacious. The window was covered by a matte film to prevent being able to see through to opposing buildings. However, there was enough light to ensure the room was not dark in the daytime.

BBrifertvI had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously.
The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming.
My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort.
The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient.
One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better.
Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay.

GGastnutzerWe stayed for two nights as our bathroom is being replaced at home.
This is a former Premier Inn which retains the 'footprint' and build/comfort standard of a PI. The rooms have showers instead of baths which is perfect for me. I rang ahead and requested a ground floor room which was honoured- we were given room 2 which met our needs and requirements.
Bed was really comfortable, tv had limited channels but I was able to log into my Netflix. There is hanging space for your clothes, a hair dryer and plenty of sockets, none by the bed though. The WiFi was adequate for our needs.
There is free, secure parking provided at the rear of the hotel - you need a code to exit so as safe as can be. No noise considering the M4 motorway and main A48 sandwich the hotel.
There is a restaurant for food but we didn't use it. Menu was a bit pricey but has good reviews.
All the staff that we met were friendly. The Receptionists were lovely and a big shout out to Alice who sorted our return visit next week when we get back from holiday.
For the money it's excellent value for a clean, friendly place to stay.

SSitalI had a very enjoyable stay at Leonardo Hotel Cardiff. The room was well-presented, spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a larger suite. The service throughout my stay was excellent; staff were attentive, responded promptly to any requests, and went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless. A particular highlight was being offered a takeaway breakfast to accommodate my early train departure, which I greatly appreciated.
The only minor drawback was that the room could be somewhat noisy at times. However, this did not detract significantly from what was otherwise a very positive experience. I would be pleased to stay here again.

GGastnutzerI have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.

Hotel was busy and at breakfast it was hard to find a table free or cleaned for you. Coffee area was very untidy and littered and floor by food felt slippy and the area was messy with food. Room was nice and spacious. Our TV didn't work, there was a cut cable on it. Don't think I'd go again but once area is developed it could be a good place

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Cardiff City. Everything was exactly as I expected and even better. I had an amazing time with my family at this very nice hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool was great. It’s a perfect place for families and friends. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back in the future. Thank you to all the staff for the excellent service.

GGuest UserIch bin so froh, dass wir beschlossen, im Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff zu bleiben. Ich habe die sehr wichtige Aufgabe, einen Ort zu finden, um übernachten für den besonderen Geburtstag meines Freundes. Ich wusste nicht wirklich, wo ich anfangen soll, so verglichen ich die Preise der Hotels in der Umgebung. Ich war überrascht zu sehen, dass die ‘Budget’ Hotels Premier Inn und Travelodge für die gegebenen Termine nicht billiger waren als The Coal Exchange! Ich sah die Fotos und Bewertungen an und sie sah perfekt für eine besondere Gelegenheit aus. Es wurde in der Geschichte mit dem Innendesign gestaffelt, und es war bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, in dem es erbaut wurde, wahr. ursprünglich, da es fünf von uns waren, hatte ich das Sextuplet-Zimmer gebucht. Es sah erstaunlich aus und wir waren alle sehr aufgeregt, dort zu bleiben. Leider mussten wir aber wegen der Wartungsarbeiten an diesem Teil des Gebäudes unsere Pläne in drei Doppelzimmer direkt nebeneinander ändern. Die Zimmer waren schön. Boden bis Oberfläche Doppelfenster, reichhaltiges Papier, Zierzeitmöbel und ein schönes komfortables Zentrumbett.
Die Badezimmer hatten herrliche Jacuzzi-Badewanne und Steinbecken.
Am nächsten Morgen hatten wir ein leckeres Frühstück im Restaurant Culleys im Innenraum der Kohlebörse.
Die Mitarbeiter hier sind sehr freundlich und gehen Sie aus ihrem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie den besten Aufenthalt haben.
Ich kann nicht warten, bis ich zurückkehre.

GGuest UserDas Zimmer befindet sich in der Mitte des Stadtzentrums in der Nähe des Schlosses und lokaler Attraktionen. Leider ist das Zimmer in einen Nachtclub zurückgewiesen, der Musik bis 4am spielte. Wenn Sie ein leichter Schlafer sind, könnte dies ein Problem sein. Andere dann, dass schöne Ort.
