Premier Inn Birmingham City - Aston

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I found my curtains broken plug sockets loose on the walls no plug sockets next to the bed TV not working properly. The Wi-Fi was pointless trying to use all the tables in the restaurant were sticky. Breakfast wasn’t very good staff were unhelpful when I asked if they could stop the large family running around the hotel at gone 11 pm. The only good thing I could say was the evening meal was okay

I recently stayed at a Premier Inn where the staff truly went above and beyond. I was traveling with a friend who has epilepsy, and despite our attempts to call ahead and request adjacent rooms, we were unable to get through. Upon our arrival on Friday, May 23, we were not initially placed together. However, three staff members, including a receptionist named Livy (I think), went out of their way to ensure we had adjoining rooms, which greatly relieved my friend and made our stay much more comfortable. Unfortunately, I forgot to take their card with their names, but their exceptional service did not go unnoticed. The entire Premier Inn team was amazing, and their efforts made our experience truly wonderful.

We came to Birmingham for a family wedding. We had a three night stay in order to explore Birmingham a little. Staff were very helpful concerning: directions, buses and taxis. Foodwise staff made sure that I was able to eat gluten free as I am coeliac. All in all with the reasonable parking facilities this hotel was just right for us.

This could be a good basic hotel BUT it’s let down by very poor room maintenance. Good points - Staff were very friendly (this was the best thing about staying at the hotel) - Restaurant serves quite basic food but was absolutely fine. - Location was good. - Bed was clean and comfortable. - Ample secure parking Bad points - Room fittings are very worn. - Carpet looked dirty. - Two out of three bathroom lights didn’t work. - Lamp on desk was falling to bits. - Room was very hot, the window only opened a tiny bit and the Aircon barely worked (and smelts musty) so it’s was difficult to cool the room down. - Water from the shower and basin taps constantly changed from hot to cold whilst using. - No phone in the room to contact reception. - Child’s bed was not set up on our arrival and we have to request this to be done. Overall, this hotel falls below what I would expect of the basic standard of a Premier Inn and I would not stay here again.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Very clean room. Easy access when driving to hotel and easy bus ride to City Centre.

I had a great stay at aston premier inn. I Was greated by a lovely lady on reception called sabrina, Her service skills was outstanding. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in to the hotel after a long journey. Our Room was clean, I will definitely be returning.

Stayed here for one night for the football in villa park, as we find premier inn beds very comfortable!!, accessible room we had was nice and clean, possible to have charger outlets put by the bed? otherwise no other issues, lovely tea/coffee facilities, staff very welcoming at reception checking in and out, didn’t have breakfast so can’t review, car park secure, would stay here again

Trip to the football and decided to stay here as it was close to Villa Park. Very easy hotel to get too. Staff were nice and accommodating. Only downside to the room we had was electric outlet was otherwise if the room from the bed. Car park is very secure. Overall would definitely stay here again
