Hotel Azalea

L'accès est particulièrement difficile avec le GPS et si l'accueil a été agréable , la suite a été plus froide lorsque nous avons demandé la climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas( pas encore mise en route ) alors qu'il faisait 29 ° à l'ombre. Le raccordement à la WI FI nécessite de l'aide. Je déconseillerai la chambre 405 car la vue est moins bonne, les autres chambres sont données en priorité aux Alle....De plus, il y a une promiscuité gênante avec les voisins de chambres car les terrasses sont mal isolées et ceux-ci ( de la chambre 4044) plonge directement sur votre lit. Le petit déjeuner est quelconque et un cerbère de service veille sur les quantités que vous prenez. Dernier point, le train passe à une cinquantaine de mètres de l'hôtel mais le prix de cet hôtel est attractif. Ceci explique peut être cela.

This is a nice hotel well located in Baveno, and close by car to Stresa. The rooms are clean and so is the bathroom. The hotel would need a good refresh but otherwise the look is authentic. The swimming pool is quite small but it is still nice. Breakfast is average but service is very welcoming. The lake view from upper floor rooms is juste amazing. The outside parking is free.

To start a positive side: the hotel is near the lake, at a convenient spot. When we arrived, our parents had already booked us a room, because they were already staying at the hotel. When we arrived, our room was very hot, and the airco didn’t work. We wanted to ask, but after 22:00, no service, so we had to sleep in a room, the temperature at the room stated 29 degree Celsius. We didn’t get any sleep. In the morning, with no sleep, we asked if they could fix the airco, so we could still get some sleep. The man (who runs the hotel with his sister) told us he was no technician. He told us: “how would you feel if someone ask you to fix an airco in the morning, this is not my job.” So…no sleep for us at the first night. In the evening we eventually got a room with airco, after asking many times. After this we noticed the “manager” didn’t want to help anymore. The manager told our parents the room was not taken care of by us, so they would not give us clean towels or clean the room. My parents are over 65 years old, and found it strange that the manager would bother them with this. He told us they would not cleane because we left the room not clean, kind of strange. After we showed the room to his sister, she told us: so sorry, we will clean it right away. When parking the car, he told us, your can’t park your car at the hotel, you have to park elsewhere. Once again, we asked an other employee, they told us, sure, this is a perfect spot, you can park here. Once again, the manager was just pissed because we wanted to have a room with Airco, which we payed for ofcourse. Even when we left, he argued that we left the lights on in the room, seriously, he was angry about us leaving the light on. And btw, the breakfast is pretty poor as well. They gave us very bad coffee, when we saw other guest get different coffee, they eventuality gave us, like the rest of the guest, coffee from the bar, instead of the old automat. So, guest are not treaded equal here… and also everyday was the same dry bread and no vegetables or different options daily. It was the same every day.

Camera ampia e pulita. Posizione molto buona: a due passi dal lungo Lago. Parcheggio privato sia gratuito ( esterno) che a pagamento ( interno). Colazione mediamente ricca, senza eccessi ma con tutto ciò che serve. Nei pressi c'è una delle banchine da cui partono i battelli per le isole. Inoltre sono presenti (cinque minutia piedi ) anche due colonnine Er la.ricsrica di auto elettrica. Hotel promosso.

Ogni tanto mi reco a Baveno e alloggio sempre all'Azalea: camere semplici, pulite, con tutto il necessario, ai piani superiori quelle più eleganti. Personale gentile, cordiale, simpatico. Colazione continentale ok, possibilitò di parcheggiare all'aperto oppure al coperto sempre nell'hotel. Ringrazio per l'accoglienza e alla prossima stagione !!!

Très bien, serviable et arrangeant. Environnement magnifique et proche de l'embarcadère pour les îles.

Hotel sympa avec bon rapport qualité prix. Proche du port pour aller vers les iles Borromées. Parking fermé. Petite piscine. Personnel très agréable à l'exception du patron qui n'a rien compris au commercial et ne fait aucun effort pour répondre aux préoccupations des clients
