"Ehrlich gesagt ist es eher ein 3- als ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Es ist sehr einfach, der Preis ist für die gebotene Ausstattung überhöht; es fühlt sich eher wie eine renovierte Wohnung an. Haustiere sind jedoch herzlich willkommen. Die Zimmer sind nur zum Schlafen gedacht. Check-out ist um 10 Uhr, was nicht so toll ist. Kurz gesagt, sie wurden modernisiert, aber zumindest wirkt das Gebäude neu. Am Wochenende scheuen sie sich nicht, Preise von um die 300 Euro pro Nacht zu verlangen. Der Kaffee in den Zimmern ist eine alte Tüte mit Teekanne. Die Lage ist jedoch ideal für eine Nacht. Kommen Sie unter der Woche, es ist ein toller Ort zum Übernachten. 😀 P.S.: Die Bar dient der Dekoration."

"Eigentlich hatte ich im Splendid Hotel in Lugano gebucht, aber als ich dort ankam, stellte ich fest, dass es in Baveno lag 😅. Also nahm ich für 350 Euro ein Taxi dorthin. Die Rezeption wertete mein Zimmer für 80 Euro pro Nacht auf und bot mir ein Zimmer mit Seeblick an. Der Fitnessraum kostet 12 Euro pro Person, das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich und nichts Besonderes. Die Rezeption ist nett, verlangt dafür aber einen Aufpreis (optional). Die Aussicht vom Balkon war wunderschön."

" We had a lovely room with comfortable beds and a well-equipped, modern bathroom. However, we were not informed in advance that parking in the underground garage needed to be reserved prior to arrival. Fortunately, there was still availability when we arrived, but the parking fee was quite high. Another issue was the lack of internet coverage in our room as well as on the rooftop terrace throughout our stay. This was inconvenient, especially when trying to plan activities or stay connected. The breakfast was rather underwhelming and did not quite meet our expectations in terms of variety or quality. The staff was more welcoming and accommodating. "

"Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr höflichen , aufmerksamen und gut gelaunten Personal . Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Badezimmer modernisiert. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden mit den Abendessen die nicht nur lecker waren sondern auch schön angerichtet . Obwohl das Pool nicht sehr groß war, war es ausreichend . Ein Punkt abzug weil es zu wenig Parkplätzen gab. Ich werde dieses Hotel jeden empfehlen und falls wir nochmal nach Baveno fahren, dieses Hotel nochmal buchen."

"We stayed at Residence Carl and Do Baveno Hotel which was the first stop of our Italian Glory tour with Trafalgar. Our 2 bedroom suite was recently renovated. It was spacious and open with 3 balconies overlooking beautiful Lake Maggiore. Couldn’t ask for more. Unfortunately, my husband suddenly became unwell just prior to departing from home. By the time we arrived in Baveno, his symptoms had not improved. With the help from the front desk, they were able to find a Doctor that was willing to meet my husband in our suite. The Dr. asked many questions and was able to prescribe a prescription. Each day his health improved. If it wasn’t for the quick action of the staff, we would not have been able to continue with our planned tour. We will forever be grateful for the care shown by the staff at Residence Carl and Do Baveno. Thank you!!!"
