Das Hotel ist sehr nahe von der Grand Gallita und ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, das unten gelegene Restaurant isst sehr gut. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich, das Englisch ist zu kompliziert, kann nicht kommunizieren. Hilfe beim Taxi benötigen in der Regel eine schnelle Antwort. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist immer noch sehr hoch und das Schlafen ist sehr solide.

Ich habe in diesem wunderschönen Hotel mehrere Male geblieben. Es ist ein verstecktes Geschmack: genügend nahe der Stupa, um zu genießen, aber nicht so nah, dass Sie den Lärm bekommen. We had to wait 3 years to stay at this hotel which we first visited back then for a cup of coffee and fell in love with its look, location and ambiance. It more than lived up to our expectations when we finally got back this year, and were able to stay. We had room 301 which is up at the level of a roof terrace, with fascinating views across Kathmandu and the locality directly round the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The decor of the hotel itself is stunning, echoing the monastery next door. Each day's breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold foods. But what really makes this hotel even more delightful is the friendliness, welcome, and efficiency of the staff who are unfailingly polite and helpful, and never miss greeting you when you go out, or come back. Being so near Boudhanath Stupa, the hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the whole Boudha area which offers a fascinating mix of traditional and modern shops and businesses, as well as a number of monasteries which are well worth visiting. On a very practical level, but extraordinarily useful, there is a clothes line on the roof of the hotel where you can hang any washing to dry.

Unsere Familie hatte eine so große Erfahrung, im Rokpa Guest House zu bleiben. Wir haben es als Basis verwendet, für insgesamt zehn Nächte über einen Zeitraum von drei Wochen dreimal getrennt zu bleiben. Alles war großartig. Die Zimmer waren sauber, ruhig und komfortabel, und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel und warm. Das Personal des Gasthauses und des Restaurants waren alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, mit vielen tollen Wahlen (Nepal, Englisch und andere) und wir hatten auch mehrere leckere Mittagessen und Abendessen. Das Restaurant ist auch ein toller Ort, um sich zu sitzen und Tee zu haben, wie das Hof am schönen Tag. Das Gästehaus ist geklaistert und eine ganze Ruhe vom Chaos von Kathmandu. Rokpa hat einige unserer Gepäck gelagert, als wir in andere Teile von Nepal und Bhutan reisen, und hat sich um die Abfertigung von Taxis für lokale Abenteuer um Kathmandu sowie zum und vom Flughafen kümmert. Das Gästehaus ist sehr bequem zum Stupa und nicht so weit vom Flughafen. Rokpa kostet etwas mehr als andere Gästehause in der Umgebung, aber ist viel weniger kostspielig als Hotels,

Das Hotel bietet einen schönen Blick auf die Himalaya-Spitzen am guten Morgen mit Frühstück und einen guten Tag mit Blick auf die Stupa am Dach des Hotels am Morgen. Die Lage ist sehr gut für 30 Sekunden zu Fuß und es ist auch eine gute Erinnerung, um am Morgen aufzuwachen und an der Prozession des Gebets um die Stupa teilzunehmen. Der Hotelservice wurde sofort gelöst und der Manager hatte Erfahrung in Korea, so konnte ich komfortabler bleiben, weil ich in Korea fließend war. Nepal hat nicht viele klimatisierte Zimmer, also prüfen Sie bei der Buchung. Ich war 6 Tage in einem Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und es war sehr komfortabel. Es gab ein Wohnzimmer und das Badezimmer war geräumig, so ich fühlte mich wie in einer kleinen Wohnung. Gute Lage, günstige Service zu einem erschwinglichen Preis.
