Hotel Himalayan Villa

Ich habe mich für ein Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf den Himalaya und einem kleinen Balkon entschieden, aber im Grunde hat das gesamte Hotel aus vielen Ecken einen freien Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge. Kurz gesagt, der volle Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge wird Sie begeistern für mehrere Jahre unvergesslich. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und erinnerte mich begeistert daran, dass der Sonnenaufgang heutzutage um 06:12 Uhr ist und ich um etwa 05:45 Uhr aufstehen muss, um mich fertig zu machen. Dieses Mal habe ich ein Zimmer für drei Nächte gebucht, also habe ich fühlte sich zuversichtlich. Ja, ob ich aufwache oder nicht, ich werde es immer sehen. (Der beste Rat ist, länger als zwei Nächte zu bleiben. Schließlich sind Wolken und Nebel in den Bergen schwer vorherzusagen. Ich habe gesehen, wie eine Gruppe von Gästen nur eine Nacht gebucht hat, und am nächsten Tag war es sehr neblig. ) Im Grunde verbrachte ich meine Zeit damit, im Hotel zu essen, zu trinken und zu entspannen und indische Fernsehserien anzuschauen, die ich nicht verstand. Am Morgen schlug ich vor, den Teller mit auf den Balkon des Restaurants zu nehmen, um ihn zu genießen. Schließlich frühstücken Während Sie auf die schneebedeckten Berge blicken und ein wenig die heiße Sonne genießen, möchte ich Shan aufrichtig für die Gastfreundschaft danken.

Rooms weren’t worth the price. The food was good. Staff are friendly. Sadly, it was overcast so didn’t see the epic views, but the terrace is lovely and would be the ideal spot to see the snow capped mountains.

The drive to Nagarkot from Kathmandu airport is long and with traffic - it becomes hard. Distance is not much, but the amount of time and the quality of the city roads is also a factor. Once near the hills after Bhaktapur it will start easing. The hills are not too winding, but you can feel the temperature getting cooler as the height increases. This property is little way off from the main road, but they have full parking for large and small vehicles. The reception is decent and it leads into their sitting area with a bar and sofas, and from there it leads to the main deck with outdoor seating. Before getting to the main deck - there are stairs leading to the restaurant, where the meals are served. Behind the reception, the stairs lead to a beautiful Buddha statue and pond and fountain. Very nicely done. The rooms are decent sized with balconies are facing the forested valley. Very serene and peaceful. When we reached in the evening, there was smoke in the air as there was a forest fire at a distant and the smoke subsided before the sunrise next morning. It was beautiful sight to see the orange hue, then the sun rising slowly with it's changing colors. This sunrise is very different from the other mountain sun rises that we have seen. Food quality was good at dinner, and same for the morning breakfast. Staff was courteous and polite.

Located almost at the top of Nagarkot, the hotel is having rooms with amazing view of the Himalayas. The food is average and the staff could be more friendly and smiling. The breakfast spread was decent and the price of dinner is reasonable. Rooms need better maintenance. Doors need oiling for noise free opening. In clear weather in October, the rooms will offer amazing views of the Himalayas. Difficult to locate the hotel. The Restaurant Manager needs to be less stiff and more smiling. The irritating noise of construction/welding work needs to stop. Overall, a budget hotel with amazing Himalayan views. Visit in October.

Life is short but this is the place where u can have a gift for your eye. They view is breathtaking and all they say u can send looking at the views… service is good but they can work little bit on cleaning and food choice in breakfast and dinner…. Enjoy the stay

The Hotel location was very good although we couldn't explore the valley view due to cloudy weather Rooms were compact a little but Had good outdoor seating arrangement for party and get to gather Recommended for family and friends staying

This was our first night in Nepal, and we arrived later than most people probably do. The staff was very welcoming and kind. When we went to eat, the main dining room area was quite loud due to a large party that were very boisterous. The manager and wait staff kindly led us to a smaller dining room and moved our beverages and starters so we could eat and talk without yelling to be heard. This was very much appreciated! The bedroom was nice, nothing too fancy, with a comfortable bed. Of course, the most important part is the view! We had an amazing view as the sun rose and lit the Himalayas. It would have been nice to have a poster in the room identifying the individual peaks. (This was available in the lobby.)

Beautiful resort-like hotel at the very top of the mountain. Rooms are spacey with balconies. Staffs are very well-behaved and served a very decent and tasty breakfast. Wonderful terrace for viewing the himalayan range (I was lucky enough to get a view of the Sunset rays at the peak Dorje Lakpa for 15 min ! Mesmerizing stuff). We had a wonderful stay and plan to come back again next year !

Lovely rooms with great views right across the valley to Himalayan mountains. Staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed here in two rooms to watch the sunrise and could do this from our balconies or from the massive terrace. Sadly the clouds stopped us seeing the distant mountains but it was still spectacular. Highly recommend for a short stay out of Kathmandu and combine with visit to Bhaktapur City - the most beautiful and well kept of all the Durban Squares in Kathmandu Valley. We also had breakfast and dinner included in our package and all the food was very good - buffet style.
