Wir grüßen nochmals ganz herzlich die ”Jetwing-Familie”. Die Philosophie des Hauses ist überall zu spüren. Alle Mitarbeitenden haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein und stellten sich jederzeit auf individuelle Bedürfnisse ein. Auch Chathurika fragte des öfteren nach unserem Befinden. Außerdem ist die Ausstattung des Hotels besonders ästhetisch und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es war für uns ein Erlebnis, hier zu Gast zu sein und danken nochmals allen, die sich um unser Wohl gekümmert haben. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! Conny und Eckhart aus Deutschland

Ich war kürzlich im Colombo Court Hotel, und während es einen guten Wert und hervorragende Zimmer bietet, fühlte sich die Gastfreundschaft für einen Touristen etwas starr. Erstens die hellen Punkte: Das Zimmer selbst war fantastisch. Es war groß, unglaublich sauber, und hatte hervorragende Blätter mit vielen ausgezeichneten Kissen. Das Badezimmer war mit Plushandschuhen und qualitativ hochwertigen Toiletten gespeichert. Seit ich im Kältekampf kam, war die große Auswahl an Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer ein absoluter Lebenserlös. Der Kundenservice blieb jedoch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich kam am Mittag nach einem ganz-nachtlichen Flug. Obwohl es die niedrige Saison ist und das Hotel völlig leer fühlte, drängte das Front Desk starr die 2:00 Uhr Check-in-Zeit. Sie boten nicht einmal eine frühe Eincheckung für eine Gebühr an. Stattdessen wurde mir gesagt, ich könnte zwei Stunden im Pool im Heiß warten. Beim Einchecken gab es auch eine seltsame Rechnungsfrage. Das Front Desk bat mich um eine Zahlung von $43, obwohl ich bereits voll gezahlt hatte. Ich musste ihnen meine Papierarbeit zeigen, die die virtuelle Kreditkartenzahlung der Buchungsplattform zeigte, bevor sie abgeschlossen wurden. Sie brachten es nicht wieder auf, aber es fühlte sich ein bisschen wie ein Schüttelversuch. Schließlich wurde meine Buchungsbescheinigung ausdrücklich ausgestellt, dass der checkout zwischen 11:00 und 12:00 Uhr. Aber um 11:30 Uhr schlug das Personal an meiner Tür und sagte mir, dass der checkout tatsächlich um 11:00 Uhr war. Selbst nachdem sie meinen Vordertisch bestätigt hatten, bestanden sie auf ihre Regel 11:00 Uhr. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, aber es hat viel mehr von einem Geschäftsreisenden als von einem willkommenen touristischen Ziel. Ich habe hier eine weitere Buchung für mein Rückkehrben, aber ich werde es annullieren, woanders zu bleiben.

Family: 3 adults and 2 children The apartment 801: + The apartment is large and spacious; + The rooms and bed linen are clean; + The bathroom is clean; + The room was cleaned well, towels were changed every day (I left a tip); + Hair dryer, air conditioner, iron work well; + There are dishes, appliances, and a washing machine in the kitchen; - There is no frying pan and no pots. It is impossible to cook on the stove, there is no microwave. - The furniture in the living room has an unpleasant smell and is dirty; - The iron board is dirty; - The curtains need to be changed; Reception: + They are polite; + Check-in was quickly; Restaurant (breakfast and dinner): + The quality of the products is high; + Variety of dishes; + The chefs are great; - There are a lot of guests on Saturday and Sunday due to the holidays, the priority for hotel guests is falling; Guards and butlers: + They seemed competent and friendly to me; + The rest of the staff are friendly and polite; Swimming pool: + Good view; + The kids liked it;

Stayed in room 56. First the bad, shower rose looks like it has been dropped causing it to crack on the side and the result is the water does not flow properly. The average, food at the onsite restaurant is very slow to be served up, even with just a couple of people. The coffee was ok and it was being made by a trainee, with what appeared to be no direct supervision and he was very slow. A tiny piece of tin foil was served up on a piece of chicken. Staff preparing food need to wear a hair net. The good, AC worked well, bed comfortable and linen and towels were fine. Small grocery store close by, which was helpful. Points to note, no fridge in the room and no kettle. Note to management. Given that the room is small the selection of furniture leaves a lot to be desired. A chunky chair and a fold up camp style chair, took up a lot of room and personally a bench that could hold an opened out suitcase would be more helpful. The wardrobe is also a wasted space and a wall hanging rack would be better suited.

Ich hatte einen wirklich wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Vom ersten Moment an wurden meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Zimmer und Bad waren blitzsauber – es fühlte sich an, als betrete man ein brandneues Zimmer. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem und lud zum Entspannen nach einem langen Tag ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service. Die Mitarbeiter waren herzlich, zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Selbst nach meiner Abreise um 12:00 Uhr durfte ich mein Gepäck freundlicherweise bis zu meinem Transfer zum Flughafen im Hotel lassen – eine aufmerksame Geste, die meine Reise deutlich erleichterte. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der einen sauberen, gemütlichen Aufenthalt mit erstklassigem Service sucht. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Dieses Mal fühlt sich das allgemeine Aufenthaltsgefühl gut an. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, das Ausgehen von Autos und Essen sind sehr bequem und in der Nähe ist auch warm. Das Zimmer ist sauber als gedacht, das Bett ist auch sehr komfortabel, es gibt kaum Geräusche in der Nacht. Die Service-Einstellung auf der Rezeption ist sehr gut, die Behandlung des Aufenthalts ist auch sehr schnell und es gibt Probleme, die helfen werden, zu lösen. Das einzige kleine Problem ist, dass das Warmwasser etwas wartet, aber es hat keine Auswirkungen auf die Verwendung. Insgesamt ist der Preis hoch, das nächste Mal sollte ich hier noch überlegen, zu bleiben.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a great, affordable room! It was immaculately cleaned, and everything I needed felt easy and well cared for. I also loved how affordable the laundry was, and the bar/food options were a nice bonus. But honestly, the standout was the service. The moment I walked in, I felt like I had my own personal entourage of Sri Lankan gentlemen. 😊 The doormen were always there to help—with my navigation questions, and with getting a metered tuk-tuk. They did it with the friendliest smiles and such gentleness, it reminded me of my beloved uncles back in Canada. Plus, the rooftop pool is fantastic—such a great place to relax and unwind. And a big shout-out to the gym: it’s immaculate and very female friendly, with 5 lb weights and three different cardio machines—exactly what I look for. The gym/pool staff were first class too, especially the lovely pool staff member in the picture. It was so awesome to see a “sister” know her way around a gym 💪✊🌹 Highly recommend—great value, great people, and a welcoming stay from start to finish!

Berjaya Hotel is a grand entrance. Feels like premium hotel and is best for the people who want to explore the beach. The view from the hotel was very serene, waking up to the sight of beach is amazing. The train passes by every few minutes which might be a nuance if you like absolute quiet environments. There are restraunts and bars nearby on the beach which is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. It was strange to find a lack of amenities in the room like toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. I had a walk a couple of kilometres to find a shop to buy slippers before I could take a shower and relax after a long flight. The staff was very helpful during the checkin and checkout process helping me carry my luggage even at 4am in the morning. The complimentary breakfast was also delightfully diverse with a mix of Desi, Continental and Srilankan dishes. Overall I enjoyed my stay. I hope the hotel management can add to the amenities so the international travellers can have a more comfortable stay.

I booked this hotel on August 8 and received a confirmation. However, when I arrived at around 9 PM on August 15, the hotel had no record of my booking under my name. It was a really frustrating experience – especially after a long day of travel. I contacted Trip.com customer service immediately, and they worked on it, but unfortunately they couldn't secure a room for me at this property. I had to find another hotel last minute that night. The good news: Trip.com has already reached out to me and confirmed they'll reimburse all my costs. That's a huge relief, and I really appreciate their responsiveness. Despite this one-off glitch, I still trust Trip.com for future travels – these things happen, and they handled it professionally. Since I never actually stayed here, I can't comment on the rooms, cleanliness, or service – so I'm keeping my ratings neutral across all categories. A quick tip for fellow travelers: Always double-check your booking by calling the hotel directly a day before arrival, especially if you're arriving late. Even with confirmation, errors can slip through. That way, you avoid the stress I went through. Overall, I can't recommend or criticize this hotel – I just didn't get to stay. But full credit to Trip.com for stepping up and making things right. Will definitely book with them again.

Es ist kein schlechtes Land für Reisende, Nahrung auch gut Sie finden indische Nahrung und westliche Nahrung aslo. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Land.
