Als Stammgäste von 5*-Hotels waren wir nach neun Nächten im La Toubana erstaunt unter anderem: 1) Es gab im Zimmer keine Gläser, keinen Flaschenöffner, keinen Vergrößerungsspiegel, keine Personenwaage, nur einen klitzekleinen Abfalleimer, keine Badehaube, keinen Wäschetrockner,einen Warmwasserboiler mit ca. 50 l, der nach Entleeren sehr lange für eine neue ”Warmwasserfüllung” brauchte. Durch die unvorteilhafte Anbringung des Lichts im Bad, war das Gesicht beim Blick in den Spiegel im Vollschatten. 2) Der Boiler ging dann noch kaputt (was passieren kann), aber der Umgang mit unserer Schadenmeldung und die Handhabung der Reparatur waren vollkommen inakzeptabel (Einzelheiten können gerne nachgeliefert werden). 3) Obwohl wir zu Dritt waren, gab es häufig nur zwei Handtücher. Gelegentlich wurden auch (sogar halbvolle) Kaffeetassen beim Reinigen des Zimmers übersehen. 3) Das Frühstücksbuffet: Als Aufschnitt gab es lediglich Schweinefleisch; es gab nur einen Joghurtgeschmack; diverse Käsearten wurden in grob geschnittenen Stücken durcheinander auf einem schmalen Brettchen serviert; eine kleine Flasche mit H-Milch sollte für alle genügen; kein Obstsalat, aber dafür sehr große Stücke von manchmal nur zwei Obstsorten; kein Obstsaft wirkte frischgepresst; auch wenn die Tische mit schmutzigem Geschirr überfüllt waren, wurde extrem selten mal zwischendurch abgeräumt; es gab keinen Süßstoff im ganzen Restaurant. Das Schlimmste: trotz tropischer Temperaturen wurde, außer Säften, nichts gekühlt (also weder Käse noch Milch noch Aufschnitt etc.). Dies war schon gesundheitsgefährdend. Wir haben dies mehrfach vorgetragen, aber nichts geschah. 4) An mindestens vier Tagen in der Zeit zwischen 9 und 10 Uhr morgens und 17 und 18 Uhr abends war die Managerin nicht für uns zu sprechen oder angeblich überhaupt nicht im Haus. Unsere Versuche, anderen Verantwortlichen unsere Sorgen näherzubringen, scheiterten.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, le restaurant parfait en tous points, mais le personnel à la réception et le directeur de l’hôtel ont le sourire rare et le geste commercial inexistant. Nous avons passé une semaine pour un congrès professionnel dans ce lieu très agréable. Le troisième jour de notre séjour, nous sommes deux couples à avoir eu une visite indésirable dans nos chambres et cela pendant notre présence sous la douche ou juste le temps d’une photo de l’éclipse de lune soit environ un quart d’heure. Deux cartes bancaires et 200€ pour un couple, et une paire de boucles d’oreille en or et diamants dans une autre chambre ont été dérobés. Nous avons signalé à la réception les vols après avoir vérifié que nous n’avions pas juste égaré ces objets. Nous n’avons pas du tout été pris au sérieux, ni par les employés ni plus tard par le directeur de l’hôtel. Nous n’avons incriminé personne, nos chambres en rdc et en premier étage étaient facilement accessibles depuis les terrasse et balcon. Nous étions visiblement gênants et on nous a demandé d’aller porter plainte sans aucune compassion. Heureusement les policiers étaient plus à l’écoute et ont enregistré nos plaintes. A notre retour du commissariat, le directeur nous a annoncé que les portes des chambres à l’heure où nous avons reçu ces visites frauduleuses n’avaient été ouvertes que par nos propres cartes magnétiques. Bref nous nous sommes volés nous même juste histoire d’empoisonner l’existence de ce monsieur si sympathique et d’aller perdre trois heures au commissariat ! Bien sûr aucun taxi ne nous avait été proposé, nous nous sommes débrouillés comme des grands! Le couple a qui on a dérobé les cartes de paiements, a été débité dans des commerces non loin de l’hôtel juste après le vol. Quand le directeur nous a reçus ou plutôt croisés dans un lieu passant, il nous a dit qu’il avait cherché le premier commerce sur internet et qu’il n’avait pas trouvé de boutique à ce nom. Là encore nous avons sans doute inventé cette histoire… La banque, elle, en a la preuve! Aucune attention par la suite, aucun mot d’excuse pour la disparition d’un bijou offert à la naissance de mon fils. Si nous nous recentrons sur l’hôtel, le personnel défile toute la journée dans vos chambres, l’un pour faire le lit, l’une pour les serviettes, encore l’autre pour vérifier si cela a été fait et j’en passe. Ce petit monde entre chez vous, car oui nous sommes chez nous dès lors que nous avons loué la chambre, sans frapper, et comme vous n’avez pas d’étiquette à la porte pour demander de ne pas déranger, si vous vous octroyez une sieste ou une douche, même avec la porte bloquée par une chaise, ce personnel entre, au risque de vous retrouver dans une tenue gênante… il faut crier pour stopper ces intrusions dans votre chambre… Les ascenseurs ont été en panne pendant cinq jours sur sept. Sobald wir ankamen, haben das Personal mit seinen warmen Lächeln und seiner unglaublichen Effizienz unseren Aufenthalt in eine flüssige und lecker angenehme Erfahrung verwandelt. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 20 bis 30 Personen, und dennoch konnten sie uns wie eine Familie fühlen. Der Strand, zwei Schritte, war ein Bild von Ruhe, und fügte einen Zaubersprung zu unseren Tagen. Es war wie, dass wir unsere eigene Ecke des Paradieses hatten, wo die Zeit scheint zu stoppen. Unsere Zimmer waren schwarze Nebennüsse von Sauberkeit und Komfort - echte Cocons, wo jede Erwachen eine Freude war. Das Buffet war ein Feier der lokalen Küche, ein wahrer Sinnfeier, mit empfindlichen Gestaltungen, die allen Lebensmittelbeschränkungen angemessen sind - ein Traum für die Gourmanden! Die Kirsche auf dem Kuchen war unser Konferenzraum, vor dem blauen Ozean. Es war ein Ort der Inspiration, wo Ideen ebenso frei wie Wellen fließen. Die Pause am Strand waren unsere Augenblicke des Atems, voll von Lächeln und unschätzbaren Erinnerungen. Jeder Moment im Canella Beach Hotel war mit reiner Freude gefüllt. Dieser Aufenthalt hat nicht nur unseren Erwartungen gerecht, sondern übertroffen, und in unseren Herzen ein unverwischbares Gedächtnis hinterlassen.
