3-Sterne-Hotels in Arras

Wir hatten eine schöne freundliche Rezeption in diesem Stadtzentrum Hotel. Aber die Suche nach dem Hotel war nicht einfach und am Ende wir parkten und gingen. Das Zentrum der Stadt ist schön, mit riesigen Fußgängerplatz und engen Seitenstraßen - der Ibis ist nahe dem Grand Place, und der Autopark ist dort der beste Ort, um Ihr Auto zu verlassen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber ohne Spott sauber, wie das Bad war. Das Bett sehr komfortabel und für einen Übernachtungsurlaub war es perfekt. Es ist jedoch, in der Mitte einer lebendigen Stadt und wenn Sie die Fenster offen und ein leichter Schlafer sind, werden Sie durch die Nacht gestört. Das Frühstücksangebot war ausgezeichnet, mit Hammer, zwei Käse, Joghurt, Obstsalat, Madeleine und eine gute Auswahl an Brot mit Saft, Kaffee und Tee - aber das Frühstückszimmer war sehr klein und wenn Sie am Spitzenzeitpunkt ankommen, ist es ein echtes Schrum. Alles in allem eine große Übernachtung auf dem Weg südlich von Calais.

The hotel is very beautiful and situated with a prime view over a magnificent square in Arras. The hotel is in a building dating back to the 1400s and appears unique in the square. The gentleman who appeared to run the hotel could not have been more helpful and prepared various elements of the breakfast himself upon request. The twin room was a good size and very clean with comfortable beds, and the interior of the hotel is clearly well maintained in the classic style to be expected at such a location.

Stayed here overnight on the way back to Channel Tunnel at the end of a 16 night road trip. The last of 5 hotels we stayed in it met our expectations in most respects. Well located. Parking directly underneath the hotel (public car park) with a lift straight to reception.(Parking Europe). Thoughtfully planned room and bathroom (full length mirror, quiet air con, fridge, water). Very clean and quiet (despite our room overlooking the station). Polite and efficient reception and bar staff with reasonable bar prices and a nice little outside terrace to have drinks on. The only negative was the included breakfast. We arrived at the breakfast room at 8.30th to find every table covered unused plates/mugs etc with chairs and tables randomly scattered. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there had been any staff hurriedly dealing with the mess (which we thought had maybe been caused by a coach party eating and leaving together?) but it was a full 20 minutes before the staff even noticed (despite there being 2 members of staff on duty). Items were slow to be replenished and all the honey and jam dispensers were empty. When the tables were finally cleared, it was by means of a large catering trolley with attached bin bag being pushed round the dining room, which we found quite intrusive. The actual breakfast offering was lovely - fresh orange juice, delicious yogurt and a great selection of pastries/ cereal etc, it’s just a pity about the ambiance, and lack of customer care shown by the breakfast attendants - perhaps they were just having a bad day? Despite the above we would happily return to this hotel if we visit Arras again.

Ich werde mit den verrückten und schlechten Aspekten beginnen: Als wir ankamen, war es 25C und prognostiziert, um am nächsten Tag noch warmer zu werden (es tat). Die Hotelbeschreibung sagt, alle Zimmer sind klimatisiert. Okay ....yes ....Aber nur wenn die A/C tatsächlich angeschaltet ist. Die Rezeption Mitarbeiter lachte und sagte, die Accor-Politik ist bis Juni (***!) keine A/C und, tut mir leid, sie hatten keine Fans. So eine schwellende Nacht, versucht, die schreiende, schreiende und laute Musik von den unvermeidlichen Jugendbanden, die in der Nähe zusammenkommen zu ignorieren. Am nächsten Tag konnte der wunderbare Rezeptionsleiter Marjorie Albertier die A/C-Spiele wechseln. Also, ja, es kann getan werden: und das ist nicht meine erste Erfahrung mit Accor Gruppenhotels, die beschließen, dass die Gäste aus der Wärme ausgehen können, weil ”es ist noch nicht Juni”. Wenn ich hier nochmal bleiben würde, Ich würde sie im Voraus kontaktieren und fragen, ob die A/C wirklich ausgeschaltet ist (und es per E-Mail tun, damit sie es nicht ablehnen können) Rätz, das gute Sachen: das Zimmer war sauber, alles funktionierte, das Bett war komfortabel, das Frühstück war gut (mehr als eine angemessene Wahl für die große Mehrheit der Menschen) Die Bahnhofsbahnen sind in der Nähe von Arras und sind in der Nähe von Arras. Bester Parkplatz im Zentrum Europas, an der Place du Marechal Foch (mit einem einweglichen System, das es einfach macht) oder der Bd Carnot (Ziel, dass die ”zentrale Strecke” in den Parkplatz einsteigen - Google Street View ist Ihr Freund). Als wir da waren, wenn Sie bereit sind, die niedrigsten Ebenen zu verwenden, gibt es große Parkplätze und einen Aufzug.
