Vorweg, das Hotel ist keine 5* wert und Du wohnst in der Flugzeugschneise. Flugschneise Am ersten Abend der Schock, direkt über der Anlage flogen die Flugzeuge den Flughafen an. Niedrige Höhe, Flugzeug fast zum Greifen nah, lauter Lärm. Es gibt kein Nachtflugverbot auf Kos. So war es auch, um 02:30 Uhr wurde ich dann von einem Flieger aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Ab dem nächsten Tag muss sich der Wind gedreht haben, die Flugzeuge flogen dann, wie sonst üblich, den Flughafen von Kardamena aus an, die armen Urlauber. Nach dem Starten hatten die Flieger schon etwas an Höhe gewonnen, sodass der Lautstärkepegel über der Hotelanlage erträglicher war. Hotel Schöne großzügig angelegte Anlage, wir hatten ein relativ großes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Gebucht hatten wir Halbpension. 2 Einzelbetten nebeneinandergestellt. Zweckmäßige Einrichtung, Kühlschrank, Fernseher, Safe im Zimmer gegen Gebühr :-( , gutes Schrankangebot, Badewanne. Gegenüber vom Hotel befindet sich ein Markt mit diversen Artikeln, die man so braucht. Daneben eine Vermietung für PKW, Quad, Motorroller und Fahrräder. Die nächste Ortschaft, hier Mastichari, liegt ca. 6. Min. mit dem PKW oder ca. 45 Min. zu Fuß, entfernt. Hat man also nicht All In gebucht und möchte nur in der Anlage bleiben, ist es ratsam sich ein Fortbewegungsmittel zu mieten, da sonst um die Anlage herum nur Natur ist. Verpflegung Beim Einchecken gab es eine Karte, auf welcher die Mahlzeiten abgezeichnet werden sollten, zwecks Kontrolle. Wir hatten ja Halbpension. So konnte man Frühstück und Mittag- oder Frühstück und Abendessen wählen. Die Karte hatte niemanden interessiert, also hätten wir nur Frühstück buchen können und hätten dennoch Vollpension in Anspruch genommen. Beim Essensangebot gab es nicht viel Abwechslung, einfache Küche, Kantinenessen, kaum griechische Spezialitäten. Dennoch hatte man eine Auswahl und wurde satt. Teelöffel und Schalen für Kompott und Marmelade waren Mangelware. Also die Marmelade neben dem Belag auf den Teller. Kompott in einer Kaffeetasse, wenn vorhanden. Ich musste des Öfteren meinen Kaffee aus einem Glas trinken, da die Kaffeetassen nicht schnell genug aufgefüllt wurden. Zimmerservice Zimmerservice findet wohl nur alle 2 Tage statt, oder nach Gutdünken, das bei 5*. Der Balkon war wohl generell eine verbotene Zone, da wurde selten gereinigt oder evtl. Müll beseitigt. Haben wir dann selbst entsorgt. Als eine Zimmerreinigung stattfand, mag ich es nicht, wenn die schwarzen Haare der Reinigungskraft im Bad und im Zimmer auf den hellen Fliesen liegen. Pool und Strand Ausreichend Liegen sind an beiden Pools vorhanden, am Strand könnten es wohl etwas mehr sein. Bis zum Strand sind es ca. 300 Meter. Für 5* werden nur die nackten Liegen am Strand, am Pool angeboten. Auch auf dem Balkon/ Terrasse gibt es keine Auflagen. Ist man am Strand angekommen, lohnt es sich zu Fuß nach links, ca. 15 Min.
