Average hotel but with a nice pool and good service

I will get straight to the point. Location is great walking distance to beach. Apart from that everything else is horrible and the so called 4 star hotel is by far not a 4 star. I would give 1 star just for the location and view from balcony in room. The rooms are outdated and not to a reasonable standard with socket fixtures broken, cracks in the wall and floors with dust or marks that look like dust, not very appealing. The worst comes in the bathroom toilet area, what can I say, definitely 0 star for this. Please see my attached photos that I took. The toilet had a really bad smell coming from it, maybe the water not sure bur again not easy to use due to the smell. The towels were ripped, shower head and curtain rail had rust all over them. The hair dryer in the washroom was I don't know maybe a 1960s hair dryer that barely blew out hot hair. I could go on and on. It was a terrible stay that I had to cut short to 1 night and rebook another hotel. Even after asking reception about a different room to be moved into to give them the benefit of doubt, the response was all our rooms are like this. Going onto the breakfast which was included for the 1 night I stayed again was poor. The bread was stale so was most of the dry stuff and fruit which I guess was used each morning for breakfast without checking the quality of food. Only good part was the fresh omelets and type of morrocon bread (misimin) that was made by the women. The coffee machine has had its days not dispensing any coffee but just hot milk or water. So breakfast isn't worth it overall. I read mixed reviews before booking here with some saying it's actually not bad at all and they don't understand why people are leaving low score reviews, they are totally confused in my eyes because you have to understand that this hotel is advertising as a 4 star and to get a 1 star service is like being robbed. So I would advise anyone looking to boom this hotel to avoid it. There are plenty better hotels in same area for same price or less. It's time the owners pulled their socks up and had a total renovation. Not to mention the pool area and seating, the seating were dirty and outdated and worn. The swimming pool not in use with the water being cleaned out. Overall a waste of money and 1 night. Got my holiday off to a horrible start. I've tried to upload photos but for some reason it is not letting me. I will try and find a way to get these uploaded as it's only fair for customers to make a sound judgement on where they stay and not be robbed from a place like this which I felt I was and I wouldn't want some other couple, group or family to experience the same issues.

Location: You cannot do better! Its downtown, central and perfect to beach. Wifi: Excellent and available in all areas. Cleanliness: Very clean. Employees working very hard to present the hotel well. Reception: Kind, respectful, helpful, multilingual including English. Bellhop / Bellman / Bell-person: Excellent like reception. Incredibly helpful, respectful, patient, and attentive. Cleaning staff: Helpful, work hard, very clean, and sweet people. Security: There is security at this hotel like most hotels. This is normal practice. The parking at this hotel is free; included with your hotel stay. I like the good feeling it provides and relaxed, knowing someone has an eye on your vehicle/ rental car. Restaurant: Breakfadt only. Half-board. Full bosrd options. Big buffet area with tons of seating both inside and out. For breakfast there was fresh omelets, boiled eggs, meat, fried potatoes, vegetables, various breads and cheese. Fresh juice, local tea, coffee, water. Yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, tons of fresh breads and pastries. Even a small salad area with cucumbers, pickled items like onions, and tomatoes. This is a great perk being included in the price I paid. Drinks and alcohol: They can be purchased at the bar in the pool area in the daytime. And from the bar in the lobby area from late afternoon to evening. There is coffee, soda, cold beer and alcohol (like rum, vodka, gin). Pool: Huge with a kids section and spotless. Lots of lounge chairs and shaded areas. Rooms: Spotless, large, refrigerator, lots of electrical outlets, lamps, safe, balconies with chairs and table. Comfortable new beds with lovely linens. I attest, I just slept a solid 12 hours. Haha. Nice bathrooms with hot water and good pressure. My bathroom had a bidet too; which I appreciate and use. Beach: 5 minute walk. Stunning, huge and so so beautiful. Elevator to rooms: yes Extra bed: Yes upon availability Cot: Yes upon availability Smoking: On balconies and outside only Lifeguard: Yes Wifi: Free and excellent Floors are: 1-6 Reception hours: 24/7 Price: Very good Value: Excellent Meals: I believe this hotel also offers half and full board options which can include alcohol. Other guests: Friendly, curious, respectful and polite. There is both tourists and Moroccans here. I feel great being here. Languages: I was able to communicate mostly in English and my terrible French. Berber and Arabic is also spoken. Stayed two nights. I gave 4 star on rooms, because I found the music a bit loud so its a little hard to relax and enjoy the balcony and beach view during the day. However, most people probably enjoy the music. Its only my opinion, on what I personally like. Music is only on, during the late morning, late afternoon and evening, and I believe is off after 8pm. You could take/request a room on the other side of hotel away from pool/music area. If the music was turned down even a bit, it would be nice. Also 4 stars, as when I arrived

Very good staff made us feel so welcome especially lubna we will definitely come again and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely balcony view , lovely breakfast in the morning and the pool is wonderful with a nice view of the beach also it is affordable
