Hotels mit Transferservice in Central Province, Sri Lanka

Sowohl die Lobby als auch die Zimmer des Hotels sind im europäischen Stil eingerichtet, voller Retro-Gefühle. Sie nutzen die Art von Aufzügen, die man nur in Fernsehdramen sieht. Der Gesamtstil des Hotels behält einen Teil des Teefabrik-Stils bei sind sehr fotogen und die Landschaft auf dem Gipfel ist auch sehr gut. Als ich eincheckte, dachte ich, es sei das beste Hotel bisher (ich habe später beim Vergleich ein besseres gefunden). Die beiden Heritage Hotels finde ich viel besser als das Kandalama. Vielleicht hatte ich hohe Erwartungen an das Kandalama Heritage Hotel, aber als ich dort war, war es einfach so

Wir waren im Rahmen unserer Rundreise im Heritance. Allein die Lage und die besondere grüne Architektur sind ein Erlebnis. Der exclusive grüne Fernblick will aber durch einen langen Anfahrtsweg erkämpft sein! Einmal angekommen überlegt man sich jede Fahrt. Eine klares Begrüßungskonzept für Neuankömmlinge ist leider nicht vorhanden, auch nicht schriftlich auf dem Zimmer. Begrüßungsgetrank, Unterschrift, ab aufs Zimmer. Wir mussten uns die Örtlichkeiten im Hotel, das WLAN Passwort dann selbst erarbeiten. Leider ist das Hotel ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen - Stand 90er Jahre, vom Flachbildfernseher mal abgesehen. Der Wille zur Instandsetzung ist zu erkennen, vieles ist mittlerweile an der Verschleißgrenze (z. B. total ausgefranste Menükarte). Die Poolliegen sind sperrmüllreif und decken gerade so den Bedarf für die Gäste. Das reichliche Personal ist bemüht aber nicht blickig, wirkt eher genervt, vielleicht vom Durchlauf, vielleicht wegen der Covid Situation. Das Buffet ist für ein 5-Sterne Hotel eher Durchschnitt, vom preislich überzogenen Abendbuffet für 6.000LKR/Person ganz zu schweigen. Insgesamt eine architektonische und lagetechnische Perle, die dringend aber frischen Wind benötigt. Preislich aktuell zur Hälfte im Vergleich zu den Angaben im Lonely Planet zu haben.

The pool was fantastic, the pool staff and cleaning staff were excellent. The room was spacious, excellent shower, good air conditioning and the grounds are immaculately kept. This lovely hotel was badly let down by the quality of the restaurant. There is nowhere else to eat, you have to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is dreadful and overpriced. I had classic Sri Lankan curry and it was inedible. A friend had seafood and said it was disgusting. Another friend had a hamburger for lunch and said it was ”not very nice”.

Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Das Sitzen in der Lobby und am Pool ist sehr bequem, man kann den ganzen Tag benommen bleiben! Die Umgebung ist sehr gut. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein See und gegenüber ein kleiner Hügel. Ich bin morgens aufgewacht und habe dem Gesang der Vögel zugehört. Übrigens gibt es hier viele Krähen

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful and will make your stay very pleasant, Plus the restaurant service delicious food at a very good price.And Breakfast was amazing lot of variety, We highly recommend it and we hope to be back WiFi was great it's work perfectly. Sigiriya village was an exceptional stay! From the moment that we arrived we were taken care of with great service and friendliness! The surroundings are so beautiful with lush green trees, monkeys and other animals. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. The best part was the amazing buffet dinner! Amazing selection with superb quality food! Sigiriya Village is well located and you can see the rock from the swimming pool area. Definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

Beim Ankunftspersonal waren die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie zeigten uns in unser Zimmer, das sauber war und die kleinen besonderen Kontakte, Handtücher, Seife, Kettle, Tassen, Glas, Flaschen Wasser benötigt hatten. Es war eine sehr gute Größe mit einem au-suite Badezimmer mit Dusche, großes Bett mit extra-Quilt, wenn nötig, Luftkon, die so wichtig in einer sehr feuchten, heißen Umgebung ist. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war von der Dschungel, Palmenbäume wachsen direkt außerhalb des Balkons, absolut erstaunliche spektakuläre Aussicht. Die entspannenden Gebiete und das Essenszimmer waren wieder sehr sauber mit Blick aus jedem Winkel, an dem Sie sitzen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam Ihren Bedürfnissen die Nahrungsmittelwahl war gut und es war heiß und lecker. Der oberste Stock außerhalb des Raums hatte Aussichten zu sterben, die Klang der Tiere waren erstaunlich. Wenn ich länger in diesem Hotel bleiben würde, würde ich ein kleines Auto vermieten, um sich zu bewegen, da die Fahrt auf dem Hotel war lang und auf dem Hügel, was für die Ansichten es wert war.

Das Personal war freundlich, sorgfältig und hilfreich. Besonders Ashan, der aufmerksam war und ging aus seinem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Aufenthalt bequem war. Hotelzimmer war sauber und geräumig. Frische Handtücher jeden Tag und Zimmer täglich gereinigt. Das Zimmer verfügt über folgende Einrichtungen, kostenfreies WLAN, Toiletten, Safe, Klimaanlage, zusätzliches Flaschenwasser. Hotel in einer bequemen Lage; 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof Kandy entfernt. In der Nähe sind die Attraktionen Kandy Lake (5 Minuten - Spaziergang) und der Tempel des heiligen Zahnrelic (10 Minuten - Spaziergang)

The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for by your attentive and professional staff. Die Zelthäuser sind schön gestaltet, bieten eine einzigartige Mischung von Komfort und Luxus in einer natürlichen Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind topnotch, und der Pool ist perfekt für eine entspannende Tauch nach einem Tag der Erforschung. Jedes Essen war lecker, mit einer großen Vielzahl von Geschmacksrichtungen. Besonders danke Dinuka und dem Frontbüroteam für warme Willkommen und Hilfe während unseres Aufenthalts und Shehan im Restaurant, das unsere Essenserfahrung mit seinem hervorragenden Service noch besser gemacht hat. Sie gewann mein Budget, Tour Erfahrung und auch ein neuer Freund - sehr schlau Frühstück! - die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Sie servierten kostenlose Tee nach der Auscheckung während der Zeit und haben auch eine kostenlose Geschichte lese und aktuelle Veranstaltungen in Sri Lanka - zentral gelegen, nur einen Stein weg von der Uhrturm, die sehr nahe an den Bushalte, Restaurants and groceries CONS: Nothing! Ich würde diese Unterkunft vollkommen empfehlen und möchte hier nochmal bleiben.

Die Lage ist großartig, an der anderen Seite ist der Fordische und der Kanti-See, an der anderen Seite gibt es City Center und Supermarkt, KFC, es gibt auch viele kleine Geschäfte in der Umgebung. Das Zimmer ist etwas alt, aber die allgemeine Rekonstruktion ist auch charakteristisch für die Kolonialzeit. Das Frühstück hat zwei Möglichkeiten: Englisch und örtlich, kann man essen, der Preis ist nicht teuer. Die Unterkunftskosten sind im Allgemeinen, der Preis ist mittelmäßig.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön und der Service des Personals war gut, aber das Zimmer war laut. Unmittelbar unter uns täglich schlug ständig, bis ich die Rezeption bestellte, sie zu stoppen. Ich konnte auch das Gespräch in voller Höhe für die beiden Nächte, die wir dort waren, um 11:00 Uhr abends hören. Das Bett war aber erstaunlich und die Einrichtungen gut, aber das Geräusch lässt es einfach ab.

Nachdem wir schon drei Nächte in in der wunderschönen Unterkunft Taru Villas Habarana übernachtet hatten, haben wir spontan unsere Nacht in Kandy auf Taru Villas Kandy umgebucht und reisen auch hier sehr zufrieden ab. Eine saubere, gepflegte Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Essen. Danke Taru Villas!
